I shop this store for my golf needs. Purchased new driver today staff was friendly but a little hands off while on simulator. I was having a hard time deciding between two drivers. I ended up making my own decision based on sim stats. I get to register and they charge regular price not sale price on the club which they fixed after manager came to the front.

Its a large, well stocked golf shop. Lots of apparel. Good club repair shop. Nice hitting bays.

Ive had nothing but positive experiences at this location.A couple of things to keep in mind (covid related)1. Due to COVID, the fitting rooms may or may not be open. Plan accordingly if you are between sizes. (have them email you a receipt so you dont lose it)2. Hand sanitizer is located at the entrance of the store for you use when entering. There are dividers up around the registers and all the staff members were properly wearing masks. There is also hand sanitizer around the checkout for you to use again. They take apple/google pay.3. They are not staffed appropriately to handle a large crowd. Keep in mind you might have to wait a few minutes. Be patient and ask someone to help when they can. This is no fault of the store, but they are running on a lower staff due to budget/covid.4. Some of the staff members might be green with knowledge, but they will look for the answer and consult with other staff members.

This used to be a great store - awesome people and amazing service. However, now its filled with lazy, inexperienced individuals only looking to close up shop early and get home. Take your business elsewhere.

I’d like to preface this by saying I love Golf Galaxy, it’s this particular branch I have a gripe with. I have purchased every club in my bag at Golf Galaxy. A 917D3 driver (500$), a 917 3 wood (249.99$) 712 AP1 set of irons (800$) a 56 and 69 degree SM6 wedges (320$) and a Scotty Cameron Select Newport 2.5 (399$). And I have spent a minimum of a thousand dollars in apparel, balls and other gear. Needless to say, I’m a customer the company would like to keep. The guy who seems to always be working behind the counter is a detriment to the store and I’m sure I can’t be the first to say this. I got the set of irons fitted with him, the entire time I got the sense he couldn’t be bothered and wanted to rush through it as quick as possible. I chocked it up to maybe the guy had a bad day. But I’ve been a number of times since and his attitude remains consistent. Basically discouraging anyone from coming there. I live in Burlington actively avoid this store and drive 6 miles to the reading store. I’m in sales, though I don’t believe anyone needs to work in sales for a living to understand that at the bare minimum store employees should be AT LEAST cordial. This guy gives me the impression he’s been hired by the competition to drive customers out of the store. Guy needs a serious attitude adjustment or should be asked to leave

First time in I had a great experience buying a driver. Just tried going back in with $500 to spend and had the worst customer service experience. The employee I had to talk to was talking on his head set the whole time, I had to repeat myself several times because of that and had no idea how to help me! I brought my whole bag of clubs in needing to replace a club and get advice on additional clubs to buy. I told him I was a new golfer and needed some direction. The guy had no idea how to help me and could even recommend any clubs to me. He just asked me over and over again what club do you want to try. I left and am angry. Even when I asked to speak with someone else he still wouldn’t help me.

As I was just being introduced to the game of golf, and I needed to get clubs, the employees at Golf Galaxy were able to fit me for the clubs that didnt cost the most but were the best for me. I got a set of Ping irons, TaylorMade 3 Wood and Driver and a Ping putter for a good price. It really helped me jump into the great game of golf.

This store has plenty of stuff but shady business practices. I took a shirt off the sale rack that was on “clearance” with a sale price on a red sticker. I removed it and the base price on the original tag was $15 cheaper than their sale price.

Far and away the best golf store Ive ever frequented. Jamie is an amazing teacher, and Brian and Dan are exceptional in their knowledge and service approach. I golf regularly, and therefore have to shop for supplies regularly. I havent gone anywhere else since I started with this shop a few years ago.

Rich was one of the employees who helped my boyfriend and I with a club fitting. He was wonderful and attentive with a great knowledge of the game of golf. Along with a club fitting he gave us many pointers of how to improve our game. Overall great customer service.

Dropped off ONE club to get a measly little shaft pull, a 5-10 minute process,, was told by cashier it should get done same day, came by 8 hours later after the drop off and the “tech” who wasn’t doing jack sh*t anyway has the balls to tell me “oh, it’s the next one in line but it’ll get done tomorrow...” like dude pull the ONE damn shaft and do your job it’s not hard, and don’t be an uppity prick about it, going to Reading from now on

I went in to by a new putter. Golf Galaxy boasts about their customized fitting. I literally waited in a nearly empty store trying out putters for 15 minutes before someone finally came over. After I explained to him that I wanted to be fitted for a putter, he told me to wait right there and he would be back with someone to help me. After about 5 minutes he came back and told me to just try out different putters. I tried to ask different questions about mallets versus traditional blades and his answer was some people like different things. I walked in committed to leave with a new putter and left empty handed.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about these guys!! I had gone there and bought a new set of TaylorMade RSI2 irons. This was brand new technology and in the vacuum of trying them in the cages, I loved them. After playing them for about 60 days, I ran into serious variances in distances and at first I thought it was me. So I dismissed it. I bought some new grips and brought the clubs back in to be regripped. Dan immediately noticed an issue with 2 of my irons being caved. He informed ME that there was an issue with the new design of these clubs. Having spent $1100 on clubs I wanted to get rid of these clubs and get a different set. They went out of their way to get a lefty fit kit rushed in for the Titleist clubs I was interested in. Then fit me for the clubs. They told me it was going to be a month before I could get the new set. They let me keep the old set to play through the heart of the season until my Titleists could get shipped. Then, they took back the defective TaylorMades and gave me a full refund.Jeff the GM, Dan the AM, and every person I have come in contact with here has just been superb in every facet. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

I called ahead asking about different irons and shafts only to get there to find out they couldnt put together the combinations we talked about on the phone. it was late on a Saturday and there was no one else in the store, but I did not really receive a lot of help. I was pretty disappointed in the selection and the service. since golfSmith closed most of its stores, theres not a lot of options left in the Boston area
