Avalon is my favorite golf course. Excellently run by Eric and the staff. Sweet bite has the most amazing deli sandwiches and their new driving range has a cool look. Always in good shape

Great layout and conditions in prime season. Course was quite murky today but that’s to be expected. The greens still rolled fast and smooth.Range and north course are currently closed for maintenance, so that is worth noting.

Avalon is in my opinion one of the best courses in the area. Three 9 hole courses. All challenging and well taken care of. The staff is friendly and helpful. I am in the Ladies Club and I try to golf once a week. Yes even in winter whenever possible. The green fees are very reasonable especially with some of the membership options. There are clinics offered for new golfers that are a great way to get into the sport.

Fun set up of three different nine hole courses. Played a charity scramble event for Skagit Valley Community College and it was so much fun, weve been talking about it all year. Its become our scramble standard. As for the course, it isnt the longest, but its beautifully designed and lots of fun for all levels. Trying to find ways to come play here sooner than later.

Lots of variety in holes. Good value for the money. The views of Skagit valley are terrific, and you will always see wildlife. Usually rabbits, sometimes deer. Nice restaurant, good, fair prices.

So for a twilight round of 18(4:20 tee off) and half a cart it cost me $69.45.I feel like i got a new guy in the clubhouse that overcharged me.Ill take my golf to other courses from now on where twilight rates are ACTUALLY twilight rates.

27 holes of fun. Great golf course, excellent greens which can be tricky but fair - the course has always been in great condition when I visited. They have an All Day Golf pass with which our foursome played 72 holes yesterday. Excellent value!!! The course marshals all look out for the all day golfers and make certain there is appropriate transition time between rounds. The pace of play is normally excellent with understandable slowdowns at peak hours. The cafe has the best golf course sandwiches ever.

We played in the Fall and the course was pretty dry. Love the three 9 hole layouts. You dont need driver off every tee but position for your second shot. Very playable for all skill levels. They have a play all day deal so you can experience all 3, 9 hole layouts. Really enjoyable course to play and it was in great condition. Good value for the rate.

Always a great golfing experience! Avalon has 3 beautiful 9-hole courses, which combined make for a great day on the links. I have been golfing here for over 25 years, and everything, from the staff, the layout, the views, the wildlife, to the conditioning is tops in the region! Greens are hand-mowed most of the year, in perfect shape, fairly fast, and the greenskeepers make sure that the courses are in excellent shape (with no frost/leaves on fairways/everything mowed) before they will open that particular 9. They have an all-you-can-play rate as well, which is well worth it in the summer if you start early morning, as I have gotten in 72 holes in one day! The restaurant is never disappointing, but has limited food selections when the course is slow in the winter at times. The north nine is flat, with a great combination of water, bunkering, and dogleg holes. The west nine has slightly narrower fairways with water only on one hole, but good undulation and bunkers greenside on all holes. The south nine is the most scenic, with beautiful views of the Skagit river valley to the South, and the Cascades to the East. It seems to play a little shorter, but has the most elevation change, and some tricky areas around the greens. I also played in a tournament here a few years back, and the Avalon staff did one of the best hosting jobs I have seen in all my years. The tournament went off without a hitch. I highly recommend Avalon for any golfer, either travelling through, or local!

A nice course, hidden in Skagit County. It is a bit of the Interstate, but it is a well maintained course offering open play, not many hazards with nice views of the Skagit Valley. I believe the cart rental went up this year to $15.00.Avalon does has a nice detached building/venue to host weddings, and other events. However, the kitchen has limited hours and the club house is pretty small. All things aside I would recommend visiting Avalon for a round of links.

Middle of summer and the first tee time is 7am??!Greens on our 1st 9 were recently punched and sandy. And on hole #8 the sprinklers were going in the middle of the fairway, couldnt even get to my drive. All of this for $65 with a cart. At least let us know these things before we make the drive, or maybe knock a few bucks off? Sandy punched greens in july. Bad bad bad.And why the 90° rule for power carts in july? I golfed here plenty when I lived in Skagit County. I wont be back.
