First time here today due to my friend coming here. Mystic? No. The store is open but the Museum is closed due to Covid. They have books, charms, jewelry, figurines and many more items that one who didnt do research or have any knowledge of them would think its devil worship. Not my thing cause Im not into the dark side and spells and gruesome things. I did however get my very first tarot reading for the first time by Matt and he was awesome! The employees are also great! Thank you Matt.

An incredibly fun store filled with amazing merchandise from great brands. Just as the name states, you can find many of your mystic needs. As well as great bags, shirts and home decorations as well. The have the museum in the back and one gains access to it by paying $10 at the register. They even have a giant Planchette where one can take a photo at. The people at the store are extremely friendly and nice. Highly recommend a stop. Great store.

This place has a lot to learn about customer service and online sales. It takes them forever to respond to messages even though it shows you they read your message the same day you sent it. 1st purchase communication was so so. I tried to purchase more product from them and messaged them several times. It shows they read my messages but never sent an invoice for me to purchase the product. I’d like to think a small business would welcome online sales.

When you are in the market for that unique gift, for the person with a taste for the dark side, (not Star Wars dark side, more like Mephistopholes dark), then this store may have what you need. From a variety of stones, quartz to bloodstone, monster movie posters and antique medical gadgets, to name a few. Enjoyed the visit and picked up a few things, prices are fair. The day we went they had an EVIL DEAD exhibit, with props and interactive scenes set up for your enjoyment. The exhibit had admission cost, but visiting the store is free.

I liked this place. They have very interesting things and an awesome little museum. My family and I love all the dark little things for sale and all the photo ops are dark and fun as well. I gave them 2 stars because of the bad experience me and my family had last time we went. Most of the employees were nice and were upfront about the displays and the rules. I totally understand and agree since those things are valuable and unique. I had 2 toddlers who are loud and very excited about things. We tried to take pictures and touch the touchable exhibits. But there was one employee who was tall with red hair that nust followed us around and literally stood behind us and watched us take pictures and gave warning after warning to my kids. Even after I told them myself. He even scared my son at one point by rudely telling him no. So we left uncomfortably. It was sad since we had already visited before when they had other things in the museum. But they are nice people and I get it.

First off, you must check out their parent store, Bearded Lady Vintage diagonally across the street. Theyre an antique shop specializing in the strange, macabre, morbid, etc. Bearded Ladys Mystic Museum, also has some antiques, but there is a lot of artwork and newer items. You can find a lot of fan merchandise for horror films here. But their claim to fame is the museum in the back. Its less a museum and more of an art gallery. I went when they had their Twin Peaks exhibit open, and while it was AMAZING, I felt a bit weird having to pay $5 to go back there. Especially where I wanted to buy prints that I cant afford in the first place, haha. But this is a special place, so if thats what is needed to keep them in business, so be it. The artwork in the museum gets 5+ stars!!!! Bravo!!! The store itself isnt too big.I think whether or not this place is cool depends on if you like their current exhibit. However, I would for sure check this place out and DONT MISS their antique store across the street!

Very awesome and eclectic museum. They change their theme every few months. Keeps it interesting and vivacious. I would say the best museum and theme type of place to visit within this genre in Los Angeles region and possibly other states. A very genuine and unique place.Worth it to do the tour and pick up a few cool mementos. A lot of one of a kind items on display and not seen anywhere else. NOT a museum. Its a store. You know the place you go into to buy things. $10 for a museum thats not a museum. A bunch of pimple faced clerks following me around pretending to clean up and organize thinking I was going to steal. You know like when you go into the liquor store and you notice the Korean shop clerk staring at you out of the corner of here eye. Like what am I going to steal here? Theres nothing but junk, man! Useless garbage. Really. So I looked around real hard. Made sure to get my moneys worth. Tried to be as annoying and in the way as possible. Boring. I had moderate hopes for this place too. You know like about 3 stars worth of expectation. Free. Free should be the price. So if you are going to visit spend no less than 30 minutes and try to get your hard earned moneys worth. Try. Yes it means perusing through their aisles over and over and over again looking at the same boring junk but still. I wouldnt recommend.Kind regards, Gideon.

I have been a patron of Bearded Lady for years and some stores just jump on the witchy oddity bandwagon, but the people at Bearded Lady clearly adore what they do, and they have something for everyone, their book collection is impressive, as are the mourning items, everything from an antique casket to affordable cauldrons, beautiful jewelry made from bones and the staff truly care about making sure you enjoy being there and go the extra mile to help you out, I felt more like I was hanging out with a friend than shopping at a store and even after two hours I still didnt have enough time to take it all in. As a long time witch and collector of oddities, this store and the museum attached is a dream come true.
