My 13 year old granddaughter and I went to the 2pm performance of The Outsiders today March 14. It was very enjoyable for us both. Everything about it was well done....acting..excellent...fight choreography...yes..even the sound contrary to what one audience member had to say...we heard every word...and we were in the second section. I didnt know how they would tell this story in this setting but the acting especially by Pony Boy took care of it along with the lighting, sound effects and music. I have attended a number of TOY, Irish classical, Sheas, Alleyway theater productions and feel very fortunate to have the quality theater to enjoy here in Buffalo. TOY allows me to pass on my love for live theater to my grandchildren.Thank you Meg Quinn and all!!

Good place for kids to see a show. It needs some upkeep and I would think if they did sell refreshments they would find it profitable to improve the facilities.

Our family LOVES the TOY! We frequent the sensory events and have a great time at all of the shows. They historic theater is gorgeous! Great group and very accommodating to our kiddos needs.

Saw Dragons Love Tacos. Production was perfect for my kids age 4 and 6. They did a Q&A afterwards which was great. Also had a photo op after, which was nice. Parking is tricky in that area, especially with kids. Be prepared to walk. Small lobby. Good bathrooms.

Been here many times really great for 3+ yr olds, they usually give an age appropriate designation so you know what plays are good for different age kids. Latest play we saw was Charlie Brown Christmas. Saw it last year and it was as good as ever. I really like how they do a break out with the actors immediately following the show to show everyone some of the stage tricks, for example how do they ice skate on stage?

A great place to introduce children to theatre and build the social as l skills they need to become successful adults.

Great experience every time we go here with either our homeschool group or just our family. The presentation and acting is always very good, family friendly and the actors do an amazing Q&A with the kids afterward. Not sure if thats only school groups only but theyre very friendly and knowledgeable about setup, custumes and backstage workings. Highly recommend!

Only been there once but impressed qith the sleepy hollow, had an actual headless horseman fly through auditorium. I couldnt imagine how it was going to go. I enjoyed it more than the child I brought. Did not disappoint

The allandale is home to theater of use in omorrow less grand old movie palace come for the shows and stay for the architectural wonder!

High Quality productions at a great price. Housed in a beautiful old theatre, the shows consistently create great first impressions of the magic and craft of theatre for young audience members.

This is a wonderful place for childrens events. The performances are always spectacaler. Get their early for on street parking.

Excellent place for field trips. The staff are friendly, the performances great. Some shows have a QA session for inquisitive minds.

Had alot of fun with my daughter here. I highly recommend coming to see a show. I love how they give you an opportunity to interact with the cast and take pictures with your favorite characters from the play after the show. Seating is a little cramped but you hardly notice it once the show starts. Its an overall great atmosphere and alot of fun.

Small but big enough theater that puts on fun and entertaining plays to hold the interest of children and adults alike.

Went to see June B. Jones Is Not a Crook with my grandson. It was very good and we enjoyed seeing, not 1, but 2 books brought to life!

My grandson really enjoyed the course on auditions.

Wonderful entertainment, just like being in an old fashion play house. Very small but quaint, no food is allowed in the theatre and they sell no refreshments so pack a little snack for intermission.

What a fun place to bring the family! Live productions designed specifically for children near the Buffalo area. We always have a wonderful time & the historic building is a beautiful example of local architecture. Always excited to see what they have on stage each season!
