My first experience at ATA was a thrilling moment and that I made so many friends and that I still have so many memories to share. The thing is I miss my ATA friends no matter what, whether its young, or old. I used to back then make posters for them so it could bring memories , hopes, dreams, experience, and lives. The thing about myself is that I love to sing and play piano sometimes and I still continue to express myself in a more independent, mature, and young women. Like I continue to grow and be who I am. Like I miss everyone whether its young, or old and all I can say is that Im happy, proud, and glad for them. :)If anyone is interested to join Academy of Theater, please join its a wonderful program and experience and the directors, staff, and students are so nice!

I am at Broadway actor and have taright all over the world for different performing arts programs but ATA takes the cake. Their students are among the most dedicated I’ve seen and the entire administrative team makes sure that each student is given attention and love. If you’re looking for a performing arts program in the buffalo area, look no further.

From the minute I walked into the theatre, it became my home. There is no other theatre in the area, or anywhere really, that offers us such a wonderful community and insane opportunities from amazing shows to working with broadway performers!! The staff and establishment itself is incredible as well!! There is no performing arts center like it.

I never thought that a place like this would change my life, it might seem crazy, but it’s totally true. I have met THE most supportive staff and the bestest of friends that will last a lifetime at Academy Of Theatre Arts. You need to experience it for yourself. Not only does your love of theatre grow when you walk in, but so does your love of life. If you or anyone you know likes performing, no need to doubt signing them up at ATA. Truly the best of the best️

I have only been doing ATA for a year and I have to say that it changed my life. I have met some of the greatest friends that I will ever meet. I used to be incredibly shy and I could barely talk to someone but now I feel much more confident. I highly suggest kids to join because there is truly nothing like ATA.

ATA is such an amazing place. It is one of the greatest gifts I have given my daughters. In this crazy world it is a safe place for kids to be kids and be accepted for the person they are. My daughter has grown and developed strength and confidence from her experiences at ATA.

Our two grandchildren have been students at ATA for a number of years. It has given them a love of music, taught them the self discipline needed for performing, the joy of learning and being with excellent teachers and it has provided them with a sense of community with their fellow students.

My son has been a student for four years and a camper for five. ATA provides a set of friends with common interests , an opportunity to develop vocally and physically in the arts and a fun place to hang out and be yourself !!! I cant say enough about the positive growth I have seen in him. Being a part of theatre enhances those everyday skills that are so important in life: public speaking, memorization, validation of emotion, respect for those around you ( and their lifestyle choices) , unconditional support , freedom to create , and so much more!!!! If your child has an interest in theatre .... look no further. Academy of Theatre Arts is top notch!!

My son has been going to ATA for 8years. Nothing else could have taken his love of acting and making costumes and made it real on stage. Learning to take direction hours of rehearsals and critiques. He loves it and it has taught him confidence in public speaking, personal interaction, juxtaposing , and overall great presence. With Dina, Lauren and Erin, he has an extended family he can rely on and vice versa. He loves having the professional skills expected of him and can focus on his character and always looks for their expert guidance. This isnt a everybody is a star program. Its real theatre and teaches life skills, respect, courage, self reflection and working as a cast. The rewards are endless, the satisfaction of work well done priceless.

Academy of Theatre Arts is unlike anything my children have ever experienced. I always call ATA their bubble of bliss, because it is the one place where their creativity is encouraged, wonderful skills are learned and their souls are nourished. If your child has ANY interest in theater or is just looking for the happiest place in Buffalo.....look no further than ATA. It is quite simply the kindest gift you can give your children.

This is both of my daughters favorite activity. They are involved in many after school programs and this is easily the best run and most fun for them.

To say ATA has changed my life would be an understatement. The staff is fantastic and the opportunities we get to preform with broadways top stars is truly indescribable. If you have a child interested in theatre ATA is the place to go!

As a former student of the Academy of Theatre Arts, I notice myself using skills I learned at the Academy on a daily basis. I am currently pursuing a career in teaching, and I fully attribute that to the life skills that I was taught at the ATA theatre. I am constantly amazed by the effort that ATA puts in in order to create such remarkable opportunities for their students. The theatrical training and character building that happens within the walls of ATA are something that simply cannot be found anywhere else.

This is my 12th year at the Academy of Theatre Arts, and I cannot imagine my life without it! I will be graduating high school next year, and it has truly shaped me into who I am today. From regular classes to APG to AEE, I have learned so much and gained so many friendships that I know will last a lifetime! If you are looking for a place to call your second home, I highly recommend this program!

I absolutely love this theatre! Not only am I a student here, but I also have the opportunity to assistant teach in classes. It brings me such joy to see all of the kids getting along great and having so much fun! The atmosphere we have here at ATA is so welcoming and remarkable. I highly suggest enrolling your kid into this program because theatre really does change lives. The opportunities that are given are absolutely incredible! From working with broadway stars, to having a safe platform to speak your mind, ATA appreciates their students. They strive to provide the best for us and never fail. I’m so glad I am apart of this wonderful theatre and I will never forget the people and memories I’ve made here!

I attended ATA for 5 years and loved EVERY moment of it. The skills and work ethic I learned in that theatre have helped me become the adult I am today and have largely attributed to my success in college and my career. ATA forever! xox

When I started at the ATA, I had no idea how big of a positive impact it had on me, I started ATA when I was 11 years old. I always look back at myself before ATA and now, and realize how much I have grown. The skills I use at ATA play a great role in school and in the community. The role ATA plays in the community is very important especially in our technological age we live in! It is a great way to separate yourself from phones and computers and explore what amazing things you are capable to do if you keep your eyes open. I am currently a sophomore in high school and I dont think my life would be as amazing as it is without ATA. Everyone is like family, we are so unified as a group and so grateful to be in these wonderful productions. The staff are very hardworking and make sure everyday is enjoyable. School can be rough sometimes and it is not easy but whenever I come to ATA it is like a huge reliever. You learn many important and valuable skills from self-discipline to commitment, dedication, communication skills and problem-solving. These are just the few of the many skills you can learn at ATA. I am so lucky to be part of such an amazing place and if you are a child or a parent looking for something to do, ATA is more than the best place to go!!
