Absolutely amazing wooden coaster. Good speed. Decently long. Sit in the back to really feel the Gs. It was first ride of the day. And first ever at Knotts. Did not disappoint.

Had to wait 2 hours to finally aboard the ride and it was well worth it. We got the front row seats.There were basically no pauses to gather yourself before dropping into another corkscrew. From start to finish, the ride was thrilling and scary.

I live on the east coast, which has a lot of classic wooden roller coasters. This one is right up there with the very best. Just the right amount of intensity and air time, long ride with lots of elements and variation. Bumpy but never jarring. Loved it.

Best coaster in the park, one of the best in California. Recommend going at night. Recently underwent a track upgrade to make it smoother. Line can be insanely long, get a fast pass. The tide is unbelievably long, feels like twice as long as other wooden twisters like Great America’s Gold Striker.

Love this ride!! Probably my new favorite. This is my first time going on since the track redo and it’s amazing!

I went with somebody while my friends went in the back this ride makes your stomach DROP its so fun for me as you enter you see the biggest roller coaster going over the freeway love it if you dont like sharp turns this might not be the ride but Im fine with them!

Really awesome ride. Kinda scares me only because Im tall and sometimes it feels like Ill hit my head on a beam or something. And its not really that big for tall people either. But its still a really awesome ride, I love the thrill.

It’s one of the best wooden coasters I’ve been on, Great airtime and insane laterals. If you ever go to knots make sure to ride this great coaster. The staff are great at dispatching the ride quickly and same with most other coasters at the park. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

I enjoy riding GhostRider very much. I dont enjoy the nearly always long lines. They really need to train their staff to load the cars faster and to their fullest. I watched many cars go by with singles and even whole seats not seated. Also, the trains are not looking up to the gates causing lots of confusion to riders.I have high praise for the ride though. Its a great track thats not too bumpy. The zero g points are well done.I recommend the last few train cars as you will get the best experience.

Ghost Rider is awesome! Crazy fast, big drops, quick turns and it just keeps going. Its not one of those rides that is over in 40 seconds. My family and I hit Ghost Rider 1st so all the other rides are easy to handle compared to it.

Something about the clack clack clack of an old fashioned wooden roller coaster is exciting.Then you start swooping and twisting and realize the fun is entirely modern.

Total thrill! Not for the mild at heart! Never go on the ride without wearing a jacket, gets pretty cold up on top

The best roller coaster in Orange County and the best roller coaster at Knotts Berry Farm. Its fast, sprawling, and thrilling. This was the last roller coaster commissioned by the Knott family before they sold the park to Cedar Fair. Knotts has other great coasters but this is by far the longest ride of them all.

Ghost Rider rocks my socks! It is by far the best roller coaster here at Knotts Berry Farm theme park. The line is always long but it is well worth the wait. Heck some say its half the fun of the ride.

A great coaster as wooden ones go........I used to think wood was the only resource worthy of an authentic ride for a coaster. NOW, I get the versatile metal ones. Yet, nothing gives that fearful flex and rugged bounce like tracks on wood. GhostRider delivers it all in a nice long ride.

Ghost Rider is an awesome roller coaster! It never lets up after the first drop , and it just keeps going and going and going. Lots of airtime and G forces . It is rough but not painful. Highly recommend and is a must ride when visiting the park.

One of the best rides in the park!! Fast, fun and a good length too. A little rough for riders not used to wooden roller coasters but definitely not painful. Expect to squish into your riding partner!! I suggest riding in the back for the best experience!!!

The absolute BEST rollercoaster Ive ever been on (and Ive been on quite a few - grew up riding the one at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.) This one just goes on and on and is one of the few rides that the wait is worth the length of the ride itself. On certain days the single rider option is available and you can be on instantly!

Queue needs to be updated, it has less to look at than most other rides at knotts and the customers in the queue could use someone to direct the flow of people. The ride itself though is real great, especially at night when you can see the park lit up. Go on this when the wait is shorter or if you have a fast pass.

Definitely a fun ride, it lost some tenacity after the re-track (the first drop in particular that they made less steep then it originally was...for some reason..), but there were definitely improvements made over the previous as well (including being much smoother ) which is always a good thing. It usually has the longest line during the day, but thats understandable cause its just a good ride. A definite must ride each visit for sure!

Ghost Rider is my favorite ride in the whole amusement park! BUT! The wait is usually really long. DEFINITELY worth the wait. You have to wonder why there is a large line, its because everyone wants to ride it!! Has fast movements and is one of the most jerky ride there. But that is what make it the Ghost Rider!!!

Fast Woodie and you get to experience a lot of positive and negative Gs. Longer than expected ride. Fun!

The chicken dinner was delicious and the rides were exciting and crazy, especially the GhostRider ride. I recommend everyone to visit Knotts Berry Farm.

This ride was amazing. Its huge and even our kids loved it. We waited for about an hour bit it definitely was worth it. Most of the waiting is inside and they have fans. If ur going to Knotts Berry farm, check it out its awesome.

Crazy fast wooden roller coaster is one heck of a thrill ride. The resigned seats and restraints makes it much more enjoyable than in the past.

So much fun . One of the best rides here at knotts . Even tho hangtime might just be a bit more scary at first for you to get the thrills . Sit in the back of ghost rider and enjoy! You can thank me later !

Well, I used to work in the park (but not at this specific ride) but I never rode Ghost. Then of course my friends convinced me to go during the annual employee party and the line is of course long as usual. But the ride itself is a little rough so everyone there does a good job checking to make sure youre good to go. Seems like they improved how seating worked too. I, being a little too afraid of roller coasters, wont willingly go on it again but people who love roller coasters and know people should definitely save a back-door for this one.

Its a terrific roller coaster in the traditional sense, wooden and rickety. Actually, the loud rickety-rack and creaky clanking add to the old-fashioned, wild west, especially during Knotts Scary Farm nights. You get the feeling that one of the bolts may come loose and riders are hurled into darkness, adding to the mystique of its namesake. It is one of the longer coasters in the park, making it worth the wait in its long lines. Its also fast and twisting with various drops and jolts. Enjoy and have fun with this ghostly ride.

Best ride in the whole park in my opinion (I went on all of the rides). The drops were great surprises. Probably the most drops in any of the other coaster rides.

GhostRider in my opinion is the second best wooden coaster on the west coast. The track and carts were updated a few years ago making the ride smoother and faster. With a top speed of 56mph and a 2min ride time it is a must ride if you are visiting Knotts

This rollercoaster is how the old rollercoaster is about. You feel the clicking of the rail. Rough on edges, multiple drops and g-force that put you on the outside edge of your comfort zone. I lived it.

This is simply an awesome rollercoaster. Everything about it is very well thought out. They have a single rider line (though it wasnt open when I was there), they have a comical instructional video, 2 trains, quick loading, lap restraints. Plus the ride itself was absolutely a thrill. Not too many make me fear for my life, but this did it particularly well, and without very much of the harshness you normally get from wooden coasters. It also has a very long run time, uncommon in this park. Would definitely recommend!

The ride was fun, not to scary. The line was long and life draining. Get the fast lane passes if you visit on a busy day.

Well, I didnt wet myself. That said, it was touch and go there the second time I came off the seat and had to grip the bottom foot rung with the tops of of my toes for dear life. Little did I know there were two more drops left, where my body would float above the only thing keeping me from being flung to the other side of the park. I lost my will to live around the third turn and drop, but my ghost was glued to my body by g-forces human bodies were not made to endure. When we finally came to a stop, I had a touch of temporary palsy, which made it impossible to unhook my seatbelt. If youre into coasters, this one will be mildly exciting for you. If youre a chicken like me, this ride will give you a fresh appreciation for being a land mammal that sticks to the ground.

I visited back in Aug, knotts was packed this day with students from all different school so I didnt get to enjoy much. I went back this Mon 9/23 with my girlfriend and her niece and nephew. We rode multiple rides many many times (thank god no students around) we got to enjoy so much more. I Love Knotts!

Fantastic! Go on Ghost Rider right after the Sun has completely set because it makes everything way more fun in dramatic. Suggest taking single rider which is free and a part of the main line but acts as a shortcut; making the wait time decently faster.

Fun, a season pass with parking is the way to go... especially if you live close...

Seriously, one of the best wooden roller coasters in the country. The best ride at that park by far, and thats saying a lot because Knotts has many great rides. The intricacy and length are unlike anything, and its everything you love about wooden roller coasters. Ride in the very back and at night, its a blast! Only thing I dislike about this coaster is the long length of time trains are dispatched. This make the lines VERY, VERY LONG! Its worth it, but be prepaid to stand for a while!

Great ride but a bit rickety. Not unexpected for a wooden coaster!I use their handicap pass & it is the WORST ride for that. Takes forever for someone to give you a return time & when you return often no one is there to take you up in the elevator.Otherwise, a great ride!

Great place to spend the day with family. Food is pricey.

Awesome and scary

Not a fan of this rideThe layout of the track is awesome ....and it has great views of Knotts and the surrounding areas.But it is so bumpy, it hurts my back and neck every time. I don’t recommend this ride unless you are in great physical shape.I’d say good for ages 12-40. But beware of the aches it may cause you.

GhostRider at Knotts is a great ride. Fast as hell but very bumpy. I love this wooden rollercoaster have been riding it since it first opened, now my son and I ride it together and hopefully in the future I can ride it with my grandchildren. I love Knotts Berry Farm because it has something for everyone.

I never really been too Knotts and this year was finally my first time going. I road other rides usually none scary ones. Until I road ghost Rider for the first time, Montezuma revenge for the first time, silver bullet for the first time, and Sierra side wonder for the very first time. On silver bullet I road it first I was scared but then once we got off. I tolled my husband beb. Lets go on it again. Now is one off my favorite rides. But man. Ghost Rider. Is my number 1 ride.
