I love that they have more than one spot for kids to play. I also love the swing they have for a parent and child to swing together! The bathrooms were actualy clean!

This park seems very family friendly and clean. It’s blended into the community. There’s two sides to the park. One side is fenced off from the other side, a few walks away. Lots of grass in the area to move around, tennis court, volley ball net, splash pad, and several benches, bbq pits and pavilions. The trail is good for brisk walking. Jogging I would recommend to go around perimeter because the trail is short.

I love this park! I grew up right down the road, been coming all my life, & have enjoyed bringing my kids all their lives. Many birthday parties, good fun & good memories of all kinds have been made here. Ive been all around the USA & never found another park like good ol Tanglewood. Right here in Bryan TX!! Truly one of the nicest park experiences in the country. Bring your Family out, experience it for yourselves, & make some great memories that last a lifetime!!!

Always clean and lovely place together with family and friends. The new renovations are amazing the swing sets in the playground area have been updated for a gentler surface for a little ones knees and elbows! The available doggie poop bags are fantastic along with the receptacles that are kept nice and clean

The splash pad is nice. Not too hapoy that the bathroom is across the street. Other then that clean and a nice spot.

Very pleasant neighborhood park with mature trees, a large shade structure, picnic tables, and play structures. The people who live nearby must really love this place.

Its really a very nice park with a lot for the kids to do, very accessible parking, restrooms, water fountain, a big pavilion on the side we were on...but...grass burs...a lot of grass burs! Wear shoes!

It was good until we started to leave and then a young man about 8 or 9 started peeing off the top platform in the play area

Grew up coming here and its still great. Had lunch on a picnic table under a shade tree with my lady friend.

Beautiful park..plenty to do.... and clean...very clean

Loved it:) with tennis courts on one side and a meandering walking/bike trail on the other there is plenty of room to roam around and make a day out of it if you can. Lots of tables and fountains, bathrooms, 2 playgrounds, small BBQ and even a couple of large double door cookers by the covered patio area. I did meet one girl who said people like to walk their dogs there in the morning so this is an all around good place to chill with friends or family or maybe with someone special under one of the many big shady trees.

Tanglewood park is one of Bryans nicer parks. It is centrally located on both sides of Carter Creek Parkway. There are play structures, sidewalks for walking, a splash pad, pavilion and restrooms. Great place to have a picnic or take a walk.

The splash pad is nice on a hot day. Its a clean place for kids to run around and burn off some energy.

Good, clean play grounds. Two Pokemon gyms. I think about 8 Pokestops. A good walking path and the splash pad is pretty elaborate, too. Even if the seating is limited

Great park. My grandson, grandaughter & I had a wonderful time.We even saw a young hawk with a squirrel dinner.Spoke with a very nice policelady and received a badge sticker.All in all a great day. TIME WELL SPENT!!

This is one of the nicer older parks in the area. The city has made numerous improvements to it over the years. Various storms over the past thirty years have caused the loss of many of the large oak trees that used to be here. In their place, the city has added a covered pavilion for parties and an upgraded restroom area. Across the street from these amenities is the splash pad area for the kids to play in during the heat of the summer.

We love Tanglewood park. There are two play grounds, lots of swings, several pavilions, sand volleyball court, a splash pad, and a running trail. Its definitely our go-to park.

Needed grass mowed but other than that, it was great!

It was clean and nice. And I forgot what else to say.

We love taking our dog to walk at the park. Its usually pretty quite and he loves to get to meet new people. Everyone is generally really friendly. The only real complaint is that the only water fountain that is currently working is by the bathrooms and surrounded by bird poop. They have several located around the park and a few that would have a height appropriate for a dog which would be very useful.

Tanglewood Park proved to be a nice place to take the kids on a hot June morning. The splash pad was fun for the children but clearly an early generation splash pad in that the features were ample, but not plentiful as in newer splash pads. There was a nice covered area close enough to the splash pad where adults could sit in the shade, and we were able to offer snacks to the children out of the demanding heat the Texas sun. Using the crosswalk to cross the street,(be very aware of drivers in cars that are so busy on their phones they do not see five small children in the crosswalk! Yes, we were almost hit.) there was a fun playground with swings, slide, and an updated play gym. Sadly, the bathrooms were in dire need of being serviced, but a shout out of thoughtfulness goes to Bryan for even thinking to put restrooms there. There are walking trails as well, so a good stop for this day.

This park is a nice decent place to go in the evenings and walk around there track , my wife and I feel relatively safe being there...sometimes there are parties going on in the pavilions , they can get loud music and lots of people but for the most part everyone just does their own thing and leaves everyone else alone....

Pretty good park. Not a lot to do here, but they do have a splash pad across the street. They have a beach volleyball court, swings, picnic tables and grills. There is also a covered gazebo, but it has to be reserved.

Really hot would be nice to have a canopy over the junglegym, it gets really hot here and the metal and plastic absorbs that heat. i think something like those black foamy pads would be better under the swings than the hot gravel. makes for a danger to toddlers. otherwise i love it. i love bringing my daughter here because she gets to play with other kids her age. and the parents and children are pretty kind and inclusive in general

We went there for a birthday party. The pavillion was nice. I kinda wish for screens that could roll down because we all were running from the sun. But other that we had a great time.

Tanglewood park is one of our favorites. With swings and two playgrounds it is a big hit with the kids.

One of the nicest parks in town. In order to get one of the 2 pavilions reserved, you should start early. They reserve fast, especially for popular weekends.

As far as city parks go its a pretty nice with , 2 covered picnic areas and 3 non covered and a splash pad.They have a beach valley ball court, a restroom that can use an update and plenty of walking space.

I luv walking there but when some dog owners dont care about others and let their dogs loose is not fair to others so I leave

Great park to bring the kids. There is a splash pad at the park which is great for little kids. Kids older than 10 might not like the splash pad as it is geared for younger children. Lots of picknic tables and some grills for public use. Bring your own charcoal and enjoy.

Great park with multiple playgrounds and swing sets. Plenty of room to bring a group of kids. A couple covered areas for gatherings. And a cool little water playground for kids. Theres also a sidewalk to walk or jog on.I didnt deduct a star for this, but one playground has metal slides and they get really hot in the sun. My daughter kind of hurt herself going down one slide. Just be aware and supervise your children.

Best of both worlds. This park has 2 playgrounds as well as a tennis court, volleyball pit and splash pit. Also there are covered pavilions on both sides that provides awesome shade!

Splash pad needs some major cleaning and painting. Along with Suri doing landscape being marsh.

The part of the park that was open was perfect for children of all sizes. Bathrooms, water fountains and picnic tables are available here; plenty of shaded areas as well.

Lots of space, decent playground (although no baby swings). Its just all around a nice park. Its in a relatively quiet neighborhood too, and close to a school. Not too much parking though. Had gazebos you can reserve

I really enjoy Tanglewood Park on the big Pavilion is great for big parties the trail is great for running is dog friendly I like taking my kids there to run to the park and we also hold our boy scout meetings there which is really great because were able to start fires and stuff and teach them life experiences are just really great really love Tanglewood
