I wanted to visit this Museum, but jit was closed although the time shows they are open. We went there on a rainy afternoon as I wanted to visit it before I leave the Area.

This museum is one of the worst to do business with and unprofessional. A few people contacted one of the workers to have them speak at their important organization ahead of time and they unprofessionally canceled last minute. If the person wouldnt have called, the people would have dealt with something bigger. The people now have to come up with something new. Even before then, they do not answer the phone properly or call back when they say they do.

Great place for community events. Current director has turned this museum into the place to be, to stay current, involved in time well spent events. Easy to locate. Parking is easy.

Awesome depiction of black history especially the movement of slaves from Africa through the South American countries into north America. Our host at museum was totally informative and interacted at all the appropriate times. Looking forward to returning in May for a special event there hosting with the Smithsonian Museum.

Very beautiful and symbolic place. They have made limited space into a creative time whrop. When I went someone walked with me and spoke about all the different history and act pieces. This place thoroughly explains how African Americans were and still are a vital piece of the Brazos Valley.

Awesome museum of African American history in the Brazos Valley. My great grandfather used to be featured here. Nonetheless, there are rotating displays and typically neat monthly events. Hopefully the museum will continue to grow. Stop by.
