$5 admission, plenty of free parking. About 1/4 of the building is the museum, the other 3/4 is an event center / administration. Plan on 30 minutes to 1 hour. The unquestionable highlight is a mastodon skull and several dinosaur fossils & pieces: skulls, tail, leg, footprint, femur. To a lesser degree there are several live snakes and turtles in aquariums. If youre not excited yet, youre definitely going to be disappointed and should skip it. Theres a full size chuck wagon, a handful of pretty minerals, several stuffed exotic animals, and a 200 square food special exhibit area (presently board games).

Ok so there isn’t any other Natural History Museum in College Station. So I guess it’s better than nothing. It seriously is two rooms filled with a few things. They are cool things, but you pay five bucks to look at some pretty basic things that are found at every other museum. The best part is the little fish tank they have at the front in my opinion. Overall it’s just kind of meh. It’s ok, better than nothing I guess!

Went here for their Holiday Showcase where vendors come in to sell their arts and crafts. A friend of mine sold wreaths she made. They are so beautiful. The showcase was really nice. There was some really great food. And they bagged up everything you bought. So friendly. Also a great fundraiser for the museum.

For the size, it is worth a visit. During my visit, the history of board games was on display. The display brought a new meaning to the original use of board games.

The Google description starts with large ... well, this one is hardly large. I really took my time and spent about an hour here. Kids would probably blow through in 30 minutes. Its not only natural history, there are some historic displays of the area such as weaving, chuck wagons, etc. Good for a nice, short, educational visit.

Such a nice place, with great staff. A lot of intresting things, plus live animals. My sons favorite was the live bees and Boris the turtle! A very cute, local museum. A good place to spead with your kids on a school holiday. It was cold when we went, but we will definitely be back with a packed lunch to eat outside.

Very small. I understand operating cost, but it should be cheaper than $5 to get in to see a rock collection.

Smallest museum I believe Ive ever been too. There was a section that was covered for remodel, but even with it open it wouldnt be much better. What the heck is the rest of the huge building for? $22 for a family of 5 and were were in and out in 30 min. Disappointed :(
