LOVE HICKORY RIDGE! I was introduced to Hickory Ridge by a friend and I dont want to go to any other theater. The seating is amazing and crazy comfortable. The employees are awesome and the entire experience is reminiscent of a small town community movie theater which is a welcome difference from the large theater chains. Obviously they dont have the screens to show all new releases but that is perfectly fine as they have always shown movies that I want to see.

Ive been going here since I was a little girl. I love the convenience of where its located! Also the prices are good. & OMG, the big comfy leather reclining seats that they installed just a few years back are AMAZING! We had a private, double feature movie showing. The staff was very courteous and attentive to our needs. The theater was very clean. This is a great place to see a movie!

Great theater with great prices on concession items. Also comfortable seating with big oversized seats that recline. I have been bringing my family here for years.

Im only giving it 4 instead of 5 stars because it is outdated..but they are able to make it affordable which is great for familys..it may not be a amc or regal theater but its not horrible. The screens are just a bit older. They did add the reclining seating tho. Refreshments and snacks are affordable.

Nice little place. Staff was super nice and funny. Prices are way cheaper than Regal or Cinemark. Has recliner seats too and you can buy your tickets ahead of time and reserve your seats like other places. Will probably start coming here more often instead of other popular chains. Way better experience for sure. Only giving 4 stars because the recliners were less comfortable than other places and the reclining mechanism wasnt to my liking. It reclined back more than I wanted when I just wanted to put my feet up without reclining backwards that much. Wasnt able to control that. But otherwise great place.

I love this little theater! They have reclining seats and are extremely family friendly. They still have Matinees under $7 and the sodas and Popcorn are very reasonable! These big theatres could learn a thing or two from this one!

Was disappointed that we had to pick out our seats in advance, only the back row was open for 5 seats. When we got in there, there were only a handful of people. Why block off all the seating and force us to sit in the very back row or very front row? Kinda frustrating. The seats were nice. Lobby and hallway shabby. Trash all in the theatre where we were watching the movie. **HOWEVER- would go back here bc of the pricing.

They have comfy recliner chairs. Prices are pretty good and they go have show times during the day for kids which are pretty good. Staff always seems friendly

Since the new owners took over; its very clean inside, you cant beat the cost compared to other theatres around, and love the reclining seats. The events they do for the children are great and always well organized. The staff is also very friendly.

Had a great time seeing Frozen 2, they even had Anna and Elsa cosplayers that my daughters were so excited to talk to before the movie started. This place knows how to get you excited for a movie. With elevated foot rests and reclining seats, every seat is the best seat in the house!

This place has the reclining seats. Awesome! I really enjoyed the smaller theater and pick your seat options.

This place isnt for everyone. Its tiny and it is dirty, at least it was when I was there. The actual theaters where tiny maybe 40 seats. I personally loved this place, it had good staff and it was cheap. Best movie experience Ive had in my life so far

Prices are good and the chairs were comfortable. I do agree with the individual that said its too dark. I understand the lights being off for the movie, but that typically doesnt happen until credits starts. Even before the credits we had to use our flashlights on our phones to get our childrens snacks together and to find our seats. Everyone was doing it. Flash lights are pretty disruptive.....

Best movie theater in the area!! I drive pretty far to go to this particular theater. The popcorn and raspberry iced tea are delicious. They recently upgraded their seats within the theater and the prices are amazing.

Bought tickets day before for Lion King with group of kids. When we got to the theater our seats were taken by others..when talking to manager he said it was because senior citizens bought tickets there and took whatever seats they wanted..so instead of making them move we were told to move somewhere else. We ended up having to sit apart from kids in way front. After done manager offered tickets to use in future with restrictions..and said take it or leave it... not very polite or helpful.

Great chairs. Movies always start when they are advertised. Not big fan of the popcorn. Dont get me wrong, its not terrible. Diet soda is always nicely carbonated! GO SEE A MOVIE HERE! ITS TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY! Also.....lots of parking!

Fresh movies, good popcorn and GREAT seats.... All at very reasonable ticketing.

Its a nice theater, clean with updated recliner seats. The one thing I didnt like was that there was practically no emergency lighting during the movie. You couldnt see your hands in front of you let alone find your way around if you had to go to bathroom without turning light on your phone. Concession prices are definitely more reasonable than most theaters.

Nice quiet theater. Also clean. Concessions more affordable than the big chains. Basic popcorn, drinks, candy.

Great price for the mainte, chairs that work are the recliner chairs, staff seemed bored and was just waiting for customers when customers arrived no one knew which one was to be working. Sound quality a bit off from the movie itself but Ill go back due to pricing and its winter in Ohio

They are a very reasonable place to go to see movies at nice place chairs are really comfortable and nice laid-back and the staff is very nice I would go again

Phone not working Sept. 16, 2019, tried several times. I love this place. Clean bathroom, clean show, low food prices, low tickets prices.

Went to see How to Train your Dragon, Hidden World premier. Just love the reclining seats and the clean theater. Love those $5 Mondays. Concession pricing is typical of any theater. We have seen many movies here and will definitely be back to enjoy another soon.

Today was the first day for the summer film festival for kids on Wednesdays.$1 for ticket, $1 for popcorn, $1 for soda. My daughter -in-law and I took my three granddaughters and they really enjoyed it! And it was easy on us too!

We had a bumpy experience with plans for hosting a birthday party. After speaking with Managers and Jon, we were completely blown away by their gesture and way of correcting an issue. We frequent this theatre, its perfect for kids of any age and adults. They have awesome events posted thoroughout the year to attend with your family, even involving local businesses. Well be there this weekend for my daughters party. And for all of the exciting new releases coming this year. They have everything youll need for a good time with the family. Also, the most comfortable recliners!

Power went out during the movie but they kept trying and got the movie back on and gave us free tickets for the inconveniences. Prices are fair (for a theater). Seats are comfortable and the watching experience is a joy.

I was surprised how nice this theater is. They have these incredible recliners that I wish I had at home. Also, they are so much more affordable than the theaters in Medina and Strongsville.

This now my theater of choice. The seats are really comfortable. Other theaters around have uncomfortable head cushions. Its small and comfortable.

Picture quality was horrible.....popcorn butter leaked all over the place. Price is cheap but you see why once you sit down and start to watch a movie. After watching Annabelle my daughter and I went home to watch the trailor and noticed a lot of scenes that we missed due to the screen being so dark. Regal cinema has them beat hands down.

Staff is friendly, seats are very comfortable, price is less expensive than most first run theaters and it has the best popcorn I have ever had at a theater.

My step-son has worked there for quite some time now. They recently put his paycheck into his bank account, but have now taken it out this morning for an undisclosed reason WITHOUT warning. If they try to scam their employees via payroll, imagine what they do to their customers.

Our favorite movie theater! Always very clean. The ticket and concession prices are very reasonable even since the remodel. The recliners are great. Just make sure to pick a recliner as the rockers are very stiff and not comfortable at all. Employees are always very nice and helpful.

Ticket prices great for the seats you can get... Reclining seats are great, but theater configuration is odd and some seats are really far back.... Concessions are really good... Friendly, accommodating staff... Restrooms sometimes need attention... Overall, a good place. Should be busier than it is. Good hidden gem.

They put reclining seats in, but literally did not update anything else. The wallpaper and carpet in this place is probably from ‘85. The sound and picture in the theater itself is also terrible. This place is the definition of a family-owned terribly run theater.

This is a great theater. Its an independent place so you save a few dollars. They have the new recliner chairs and a good concession area....for a better deal than the large chains. Lots of movies and convenient from Strongsville and Medina.
