Love to walk out there, but not in the summer - too hot for me. Never saw so many geese there as were there today. Must have been having a convention!

This is a beautiful park that is just a quick drive from the Louisville Tech Center. It is such a delightful treat to be able to leave the office at lunch time and come take a walk around this lake. It is teeming with birds (hawks, water fowl, and song birds) and it backs up to farmland where its very pleasant to watch the cows in their pastures.

Very pleasant walk. Spectacular views. Very open with not much shade. Prairie dogs abound. Walked from the lake parking lot towards the wetland area only to discover its closed until October (see photos for more info). Wish they posted that at the main trailhead before we walked all that way, but still a nice walk.

What a beautiful Sunday stroll. Not many of these places in the city or what was once the outskirts of the city. Did a little fishing was close to Boulder and had fun with some of the looks of disapproval from some of the Boulderites. Tiny blue gills, sunfish and some tiny bass. Kept me busy no real keepers. But wasnt expecting it. Still enjoyed my day with one of my sons.

We have always had a great time. Beautiful location, enormous pumpkin fields, hay bale maze, fun things for the kids to climb on and take pictures, animals. There are more activities on the weekends. Be sure to attend before the temperatures drop below freezing. I find the pumpkin prices a bit high.A few new activities each year to change it up might be nice. Perhaps pumpkin bowling or a pumpkin catapult.Be sure to take cash

So many pumpkins and its a lot cheaper than buying at the grocery stores. This was my first time to a pumpkin patch and I loved it! So much stuff to do with kids as well!! We will definitely be coming back next year. Some pumpkins were messed up from the early snow but a good looking around was worth it.

Having open space is always good. There are a couple of bike/walking trails through this preserve, and some good views of the front range, but it is pretty much flat and open; it can get very hot with no shady place to rest.

Almost zero help. Just follow the crowd if its your first time. Heaven forbid your at the front of the line. Signage is terrible. Once you find the fields, there are a lot of them. Then you come hack to the kids area, that was fun enough. Prices are ok-ish. Overall a so-so experience.
