We were relunctant to start our children back in swim lessons in a world of uncertainty. The British Swim School sent a few communications prior to the first day back at the pool deck. The communication was not overwhelming and was very clear on what we could expect; how to prepare our young ones and what the process would look like. Last night was our first night back. The swim instructors were in their designated area in the pool with full face shields (clear) on; the smiles coming from the instructors were infectious. Yes, if you stopped and looked around, you noticed all parents sitting distanced with face masks on but what we noticed the most was the ability for British Swim school to be creative to find a way to have the students back in the water but with safety for themselves, the students and the parents being the number one priority. What a great way to be reunited with a great swim school!

My 4-year-old and 6-year-old take lessons at the Longmont location and we have been very impressed with the quality of this school. The instructors are highly skilled and great with the kids. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 4 students and the pool is reserved for the class so it is not crowded during the lessons. My kids swimming ability increased considerably since taking the lessons here. I highly recommend this school!

This review is for both the Marriott and Renaissance location. Personally, I think the Marriott pool area is more aesthetically pleasing but both pool areas are very nice. You just have to find the location that is closest to you but both are relatively close to each other.Great Schools! Swim instructors seems to enjoy their jobs which is important. There is someone always onsite at the pool to answer all of your questions. This company is very flexible. They are always willing to work with customers to meet our individual needs and to work around our schedules. Their forms of communication are through the parent portal, email, text messaging and telephone. My suggestions for improvement is for them to have a formal meeting with all new families to address policy issues such as payment schedules and deadlines, procedures for adding and dropping classes and makeups. I also think it would be beneficial to have a very simple skills chart on the parent portal indicating which skills the student has mastered and which skills still need to be acquired. Such a chart would help parents and substitute instructors to better understand which specific skills, within the entire skill set, the student needs to master to get to the next level class. I would highly recommend British Swim Renaissance and Marriott to anyone.

Putting our kids in British Swim School has been a game changer when it comes to their skills and confidence. They have a great structure to their program and quality instructors. I would definitely recommend these guys over other swim classes weve tried.

We have been taking our little one here for a few months now and always look forward to class! Our daughter loves going; she is learning quickly and still challenged at each class. Ms Kennedy is the best!

We can’t say enough great things about British Swim School. My daughter went from being terrified of having water in her eyes to swimming solo with her face down in the water inside of a year. We are super impressed on the skills that she has learned and she’s only 4 years old. Great team of instructors and support staff! They are truly the best in the business!

We have had our daughter in lessons here for 7 months, she is 1 now. Its been a great bonding experience and we have learned appropriate skills to continue to teach her. She loves the water. We have really enjoyed the instructor Mr. Andrew, and the subs that we had a few times. Thanks for making water safety fun!

We are loving lessons with the British Swim School! Our 3 yr old went from not putting his face in the water to diving for rings, floating on his back and getting in and out of the pool on his own using the wall in just 4 lessons.The instructors are great, creating a safe and friendly atmosphere. The classes are small, and we have never had more than 3 kids in a lesson. The facility is also super clean, which I really appreciate.I highly recommend this swim school!

My daughter learned to swim after struggling at public pool swimming lessons and another swim school she finally learned to swim with this program. They make swimming fun and most importantly my daughter loves it. I cant recommend British Swim School enough.

The staff is most responsive and totally dedicated to their mission of child water safety. We have been so pleased with the tremendous improvement our granddaughter has made in swimming . The instructors are so tuned into the students and aware of developmental hallmarks in each age group.I highly recommend this program !

Our children loved swimming with British Swim School. When our daughter began her lessons, she was terrified of getting her face in the water, despite 5+ years of lessons elsewhere. BSS instructors were patient and encouraged her every week in class. They never pressured her or got frustrated with her fears. After just a few weeks she was emerging her face in the water and a few months later, she was confidently swimming on her own. The progress we saw with both our children was impressive. The instructors are caring, patient, kind and love to have fun with the kiddos. The owner, Nikki and well as the deck attendant, Miranda, are professional and attentive. You can tell each staff member at BSS truly care about the well-being of your child and keeping them safe in the water. I would recommend British Swim School for your swim lessons and safety needs.

I enrolled my daughter in so many swim classes and yet she opted out if every one of them. Then I found British Swim School and they have worked their magic for sure. Not just does she want to go to class but she has learnt much more in 1 month at BSS than the last 7 years of swim classes elsewhere.

The results we’ve seen are amazing. The swim instructors are very patient and have helped my daughter make great progress! They’re very flexible when we have to reschedule a class!

We have been a swim family with British Swim School at Flatirons for about two years. The teachers are very knowledgeable on how to work with the various age groups. We have seen both of our children flourish since being a student at the swim school. More importantly, they feel safe and happy when they go to lessons.

We LOVE British Swim School! The staff is kind and fun when interacting with both of our children, and their methods work. We previously used another swim school in the Arvada/Wheat Ridge area, and our experience was less than positive.

I loved the lessons at BSS with Meredith and Ryan! I especially appreciated the emphasis on safety- the first lesson was helping our littles learn to pull themselves out of the pool! I highly recommend!

We love BSS! The teachers are great and our daughter has become quite the swimmer in a short amount of time.

I canceled my membership but I still had 2 make up sessions for my both kids (4 total) and I emailed to scheduled for those make up sessions but they never emailed me back. If you have a makeup session make sure you schedule those before you cancel your membership.
