I rented the pavilion at fox brook park for my wedding rehearsal dinner and it worked out perfectly. It was very clean, and the staff were great. They had the space all ready for us and helped us close up at the end of the night. There were enough tables and plenty of space that we (a group of 25 people) could all stay socially distant while we were eating. There was even a fire in the fireplace for ambiance on our rainy night.

The park is very clean and very well maintained. There are trails for walking. Cycling or jogging. Very good fishing from the piers and land areas cleared by the park managers. The park has a nice beach. A very nice picnic pavilion, with clean restrooms, that can be reserved. Plenty of parking and picnic areas.

I arrived with my wife, our 16month and 3yr old, after we paid and finally got to swimming we were then instructed we were not allowed to use the floatation vest for our youngest or the floaties for our 3 year old. I inquired in to the reasoning as to why as I also saw others being told the same, they told me that they only allow coast guard approved floatation devices.Naturally I would assume that some form of floatation device is better for a child who cant swim rather than no floatation device therefore I asked if there was anything posted before I paid, they told me there was not. Furthermore they claimed it was stated in the Beach rules. Well I went and checked the beach rules and that is the picture I have attached, there is nothing written anywhere that states this rule.As a parent that constantly worries for the safety of my children I can understand that there are things we want to do to ensure our childrens continued safety, although when we are forced to make a situation less safe due to rules in place that do not make sense, I am forced to question why.We are always required to be within arms reach of our own children, and I imagine most parents would do that anyways with such young ones. What I cannot understand is that there is a higher statistical chance of a child drowning with no floatation device, and this is what is required.Spend more money on a floatation device that is coast guard approved and ultimately safer than non coast guard approved floatation devices... But youre not allowed to use non coast guard approved floatation devices and they would rather you put your child at greater risk with no floatation device. This is a kind of logic that I dont believe anyone would understand. I truly am baffled by this.

This park is awesome!!! The beach area is large enough where you dont feel like its too crowded even when there are a number of people there. I love the paved path that goes around the Lake (about 1 mile around) and the play area is perfectly situated near the sand and water. The staff and lifeguards are all very nice and professional and I cant wait to go back again!

This has always been a good experience. First off the staff here is on point when it comes to being helpful and making sure that people are following the rules. Its a dog friendly location. Fishing, swimming (with life guards), bicycling, skating, jogging, picnic area, nice and clean sandy beach, bathrooms with public showers, an event center, and paddle boat rental. I mean, what else do you need for a day at the beach?! The beach has a play area for kids as well BUT dont use it in the heat of the day! 100+ degree plastic and skin does not mix. Enjoy the park!

This is my favorite place to bike over to and go swimming! It is kept clean and a very safe location. They are one of the few places I know of that still has a public diving board. The occasional train driving through gives it an interesting and beautiful attribute. Only thing is that I wish they had a swim at your own risk policy when the life guards are not on duty and go home for the night.

This park is small, but n the beach. Nothing particularly special. But combined with the beach, and the paved mile path around the lake, it makes for a great day with the kids. *In the summer the lifeguards are rather strict, which is some but of a negative to me.

Wonderful park with a swimming lake and a nice beach, rentals of paddle boards, kayaks and canoes. There is a building with bathrooms, showers and changing rooms. The park has picnic areas and grills, some with shade and some in the sun. Dogs are allowed in the grassy areas but not on the beach. There is a swim area for the dogs in one section and a nice walking trail around the lake. $5 entrance fee per vehicle.

This is one of the best places in the Milwaukee area for summer swimming. Its water is warmer than Lake Michigan, so it’s not too cold to swim here from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There are sharp-eyed lifeguards here, watching over everyone from small children to seniors. And if you’re feeling nautical, there are paddleboats and kayaks for all.Best of all, there’s a spectacular 3/4-mile trail encircling the large lake, offering a variety of views in all directions. This is a perfect place for a summer picnic, especially in the evening when you can watch the sun setting over the lake -- that’s the best time to go to this park before it closes at 9 PM.

You cant even swim with your family they like to keep everyone separated no one can have quality family swim time without being separated!!! They have everything sectioned off you cant even hold your kids in the water without being yelled at because its considered horse play to the life guards. I give this place a one star only because I they have water but still if your looking for FAMILY fun this isnt the place for you!!
