Good trail for walking.. biking.. scooter

Great path, long and clean. Saw a couple deer. Wasnt too crowded and it was easy to follow the signs. Biked the path here and it was great lots of places to stop off and snack if needed.

NIce place to take 5 after getting off the Salt Creek trail.

Tired of staying inside, we ventured out here to be outdoors and get some exercise. It was a nice day - though not too crowed.While the walk was pleasant. I found it hard to tell how far we had gone, or how far we had to go to the next landmark. It would be useful to provide more visible milemarkers along the trail. Also helpful would be benches spaced every 1000 to 1500 feet. As a senior, o can be tough to go far without a spot to rest.

Very nice windy, curvy trail for bike riding. Usually a lot of traffic, so please ride alertly and safely!

Saw loads of deer(2), peacefull and serene . The perfect location for a very early spring walk

The trail is for walkers and bike riders. Its paved and relatively flat with minimal hills. Scenic views.

I come here often to bike the Salt Creek Trail. The park is very pretty and you often see some deer hanging out. Is rather small, but if you follow the trail, itll take you from park to park. Its an awesome ride, probably as pretty a run.

Beautiful, great trail for biking, walking, jogging, or skating. Keep your eyes open for deer, birds, beavers, squirrels, and many other animals.

This is a great place to walk, run, or bike. Our whole family uses the path often. It is beautiful and peaceful in every season and makes you feel like you are far away from a city. We have seen deer, blue jays, woodpeckers, tadpoles and many more animals. It has been great to expose my toddlers to the bauty of nature.

Great for biking or walking

Being a single female, I felt very comfortable jogging on my own on the Salt Creek trail. I parked my car in the Brookfield Woods parking lot and took The trail north. The trail meanders through the woods and is heavily used by other bikers and joggers.

You cant beat a good nature walk with a friend. Serene nature scenery while not being too far from civilization. A very fun walk on your own or with an old friend

We took out our 3-month-old in a stroller and had a great time walking down the paved paths! The signage was great and there were port-a-potties along the route.

I like this forest preserve...it has a nice bike trail and it is near the zoo. It also has a large parking lot and a place to have a picnic or just enjoy a nice walk on the trails.

This is a nicely maintained trail. Its paved with a painted center line. Bicyclists and walkers use the trail

Beautiful native prairie. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a nature walk. You may run into deer, hawks, toads, and many other interesting creatures and plants. Monarch butterflies have been especially prevalent this year. At one point I saw five in flight at the same time! Butterfly Heaven!

NICE PLACE TO SPEND A LAZY SUMMER DAY

Ive been walking and biking these trails for years now. Well maintained trails in dense woods with plenty of wildlife to see. Great stress relief.

We passef through and saw some deer. Pretty nice woodlands.

Theres nothing amazing about this place, its a really small park, but is good for reading quietly as theres never a crowd... you can just simply relax.

All the animals were out.Its clean inside exhibits and outside exhibits.The only thing is the bathrooms.There were long lines for the bathrooms and there not the cleanest and smelled bad.Brookfield zoo

Nice place to run. I dont like having to run across the street but otherwise a nice trail to go along. Lots of people of all ages come here.

Great to get back to nature

I bike or run on the trail thay goes through here at least once a week. The only thing is that a lot of people do not respect the lanes and often Ive run into small groups walking side to side covering the entire path. Once I was coming to a turn and almost ran over a toddler who was on the wrong lane on her bicycle. Her mother looked at me as if anything that could have happened would have been my fault.I dont see any signs trying to enforce lane rules, if the body in charge is relying on good judgement, bad collisions will happen sooner or later.

The least wooded and worst looking part of what otherwise is a gorgeous bike trail. Last time I ride through there, there was graffiti.
