Family and I have been looking for a good retro arcade in the area. Flipside was a great experience. The owners are passionate about maintaining the arcades, and have donated from their own collection. Prices were very reasonable, great selection of pinball and arcade machines. Even got a history of pinball.

Flipside is a true asset to Bristol. Retro arcades and pinballs make for a fun play all day extravaganza. $10 to play all day, come back any time during the day of your visit, if you need to leave. Staff is friendly and the place is clean.

The selection of machines and games is phenomenal for the space. The owners are extremely friendly as well and go out of their way to accommodate you. Its a fun and relatively inexpensive place to visit as a family, with friends, or for birthday parties (they have a nice party room). Heck, any time is the right time to go play some retro games. I highly recommend!

Over 60 pinball machines, arcade games and video games, all available for unlimited play for the price of admission. The oldest machine is a 1955 Williams machine based on Alice in Wonderland, but most of the machines seem to be from the 1980s and 1990s. They have many of the most popular games of that era, including two of my favorites, Addams Family and Funhouse. Everything appears to be in good repair, and its apparent that they take care to keep things that way. Theres also a very new machine themed on the Wizard of Oz movie that is great fun-though it is made by a fairly new company called Jersey Jack, the gameplay is certainly as good or better than machines put out by Williams, Stern, Bally and Gottlieb.Admission is a great value for family entertainment. Though they have a great selection of video games, the emphasis is on pinball, and it is great fun for kids who really have grown up in the post-arcade era to discover pinball. Concessions are very reasonable, sodas are a dollar, and there is candy and popcorn.While we were there, a number of folks came in and wanted to look at the selection of machines before paying admission. I think the owners did let them do that, but in all honesty there is no need for you to do that: if you dont like the selection of games available, you just dont like pinball.Also, they have moved across the street to 1393-10 Volunteer Parkway. The new location is even more spacious.

If you are in Bristol and a fan of retro arcade games, it is a must stop. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. 10 bucks and you could spend all night there. We will definitely make another visit.

Fun for little kid and antique game players

Highly recommended, my 3 year old loved it. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The price is awesome too, I usually pay $40 for my son to play games at other places. At flipside he got to play what he wanted as much as he wanted.

The arcade was clean & the lady working was cordial & helpful. Unfortunately, the games were not great. The video games were rather obscure - nothing mainstream except maybe Galaga. The pinball machines were numerous, but appeared to be set for quick defeat & many had features which did not work. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this arcade.

You can spend hours here and it will feel like you just walked in! It’s a really good deal for all that you can play.

Retro pinball games, all game systems from Atari , Sega Nintendo. What an awesome place. Pay one price for the time that theyre open and play any game you want. We will go back again.

Loved all of the pinball machines! There were so many kept in excellent working condition. It was also nice to see 2 from the early 1900s in working condition that did not have flippers.

I learned about this arcade purely by chance, and am glad that I did. During a recent visit to the Tri-cities area I had the opportunity to visit and had a great time.The fee is $10 per person, with all games set to free-play. The arcade has a nice selection of both arcade games and pinball machines, as well as a few consoles. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it wasnt so busy that it was difficult to get time on any machine.I find places like this to be a great deal, especially when you consider the high cost per game of most arcades. I will definitely be visiting Flipside anytime I return to this area.

Very cool arcade and something fun to do with the family to pass the time when there is nothing to do. Not a bad price and decent selection of games to play.

I took my two sons here thinking it would be fun for them to see the machines I grew up playing. I was charged for the privilege of chaperoning my sons while they played. As a parent, I would not recommend this facility.

Great places awesome games

Weva had two very bad experiences, first was a birthday party which we paid 100$ for with the understanding that it included 10 kids (included normally would mean FREE) but we double checked and she assured us that it was correct. We get to the party the place is so hot and had no air on at all (everyone at the part complained and had to step outside we were sweating so bad), we are cake and opened presents and went to use as much time as the kids could playing, we get done and had two extra kids so we went to pat for them, the total was 100$ because 10 kids were not included for free but at regular price and after the 10 they were discounted to 5$. We were upset and shocked but let that go without a bad review or calling to complain to the owner which we were told to do after we explained what we were told. We did return today only with our 5 year old son who can play the games good so we were gonna just let him play and watch, we were told that we would have to stay up front and let my 5 year old wonder around by himself without our supervision RIDICULOUS, I understand the reasoning behind this that they have caught parents playing and if my kid was older 100% I would let him do that, but kids this young should have their parents with him and you they can walk around and check you see us playing a game ok, ask us to leave!!! We will NEVER be back and give them business again. Along with half of the games are in very poor or dont work at all, I will not be surprise if they go out of business soon.

Awesome place

New rule: if you arent playing you must sit by the front door behind the stanchion. We brought our children to play ages 9 & 7. We were not allowed in the arcade area or to assist. This is not kid nor family friendly. As parents we had very poor visual of our kids the entire time. We will not return. We visited 2/9/19.

Came here cause my son wanted to play (Hes 5).Me and my wife did not want to play we have no interest in it. The girl up front told us we had to sit up front while he went and played by himself..... so here I am sitting up front by myself. Pretty irritated to say the least. This place sucks. Already had a bad past experience should have known better.

This place is awesome!! There is all kinds of pinball machines and retro gaming consoles. Its like the best arcade games all in one place. Nostalgia and fun overload. The owner is super nice and is definitely worth the price.

I felt like I had gotten my ten bucks worth in the first twenty minutes. This is an awesome place to visit, and provides hours of fun. You purchase a day pass, and can play any game with it. They allow reentry. I will definitely be going again.

I didnt realize how fun pinball machines were, but theyre so vastly different that switching machines offered a new experience each time! I only barely got to touch their actual video game section, but it seemed fun. The classic Star Wars machines were a nice surprise on top of it!

This arcade was a lot of fun. I think its very fair price, and great that you can come and go as you like. There were a lot of games, and they had 2 or 3 of my favorites. But almost the whole arcade was centered around pinball machines.i would have been nice if their were more gaming options.

Definitely more for the pinball crowd but they do have multiple stand up units that have an assortment of games. Its a little tight in there too but then again so were the classic arcades. The people who run it are very friendly and helpful and if any of the games arent working they try to get then back up and running right away.

Absolutely a great fun place

U pay 7 for ur kids to go in and play but if u want to just go in and watch ur child play to be ya know a normal parent then u have to pay 3 to get in as well. Im not paying to watch my kids play games that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of in my life.. I can just call BBB and report this place due to not having enough staff or even qualified staff to watch children. It wldnt be any different then a day care so they need a license for that.. really who has ever heard of paying to watch ur kid play. I have 6 kids I refuse to pay to watch them play.. I can go elsewhere in the area.. this is absurd!!!

Went there a week or so ago and over half of the pins were either broken/shut off or the ball was stuck in some way or generally lost on the play-field making it unplayable and most of the ones that did work had weak flippers or some other quirk to make them barely playable, ive been sporadically coming to Flipside for a year or so and its gradually going downhill in quality, big disappointment now....

Pinball is the main attraction here, but there are several arcade cabinets and a few consoles with tons of games to choose from, you can easily spend hours and hours having fun playing all the games and the price is just so good. Ive been coming every weekend for a month and will keep coming back as often as I can.

Great place for pinheads. All the games played properly and were in superb condition. I drove up to play Ghostbusters before I bought one. 2 jjp games on the floor which was awesome. If they add dialed in and twilight zone I will make the drive more often. Also get a Facebook page more people need to know a arcade of this caliber exists!

Really enjoyed my time here! Paid $10 for myself and was free to play what was available, allowed to go back (during same day) should I leave for a meal or something. GREAT selection of not only pinball machines, but also some multicades and old games. Star Wars, X Files, Ghostbusters, and lots more for pinball and for retro gaming; Sega Genesis, Atari, NES, and an N64. Great people there too! Cant wait to go again!!!
