Great place. We go for walks around the park all the time. Both my kids have done many summer camps. We have been involved with scouting events at Silver Lake. Their scout programs are great. We did a few scout sleepovers with owl prowels and hot chocolate. Its also where the Artist of Bristol meet. Great part of the community! Lots to learn or just go and relax.

We love the Nature Center. There is so much to explore and many of the trails are kid-friendly and accessible which is so important to our family. We come to the Center several times a month year round.

Very nice moderate trail. Follow the blue stickers on trees and youll be fine. Due to the recent tropical storm we had a few weeks back it knocked some trees into the trail and my son and I had to climb or go under them which for a twelve year old he loved it. Kinda felt like a post zombie apocalypse where stuff is all over the place not maintained but regardless it was fun and no one else on that particular section of the trail. Its about 3.5 miles and goes next to the highway at one point. Over all it was very good .

The nature center is pretty small, but thats part of the charm. Ive been coming here since i was a little girl, and now i can bring my son. They renovated it not too long ago, and its quite nice inside. I might not come just for this but pairing it with a walk on the trails, and maybe a packed lunch under the pavilion, makes for a great day out.

This park has very nice trails of varying degrees of difficulty. It is never crowded. Has some benches to sit if you get tired. Went on a trail today at the park that was new to me. Saw an old car wreck within the woods. Not sure how it could have gotten bv so deep in the woods since there is no way a car could get onto the narrow trail. It was very surprising and strange to see it.

This place is awesome! Super well-taken-care of, very biodiverse, and peaceful. There are bathrooms, ample parking, a spot overlooking the lake, and a visitors center.I saw frogs, birds of prey, dragonflies, and a beaver den. Would recommend to bring kids, dogs, or for a solitary walk.Keep up the good work, SLNC!

Yesterday I rode along the new Silver Lake Trail with my daughter in our bikes. Coming from the trails near the Nature center, there are 2 paths, one more bike friendly than the other. If youre up for a hike and are good with hills, the blue path is good for you (we did that last year), but not bike friendly. The brown path (about 50 feet ahead) is more bike friendly and comes out around the garage. On the other side of the lake, the path is mostly bike friendly as well, however there were a couple spots we needed to walk them. Be sure to pay attention to the trail markers. There are a couple of footpaths that are not official trails. All in all its a nice path. Im looking forward to seeing how it gets expanded in the future. I hope that some of the old tires and car parts can get cleaned up in the future as well.

Great spot for the kids. We had a picnic here and the geeses wouldnt leave us alone! However that motivated my kids to eat their food because theyre afraid of the geese eating their meal. Love how there are a lot of benches to sit by the playground. The nature trail was extremely refreshing and not too tiring.

I cannot put into words what an amazing place Silver Lake Nature Center is, especially the summer camp. We have been looking for a camp for my daughter for years and this one ticked all our boxes - AMAZING, caring staff, wonderful fellow campers, fun-filled program and exceptional grounds! Fantastic experience for all kids - special needs as well:) Thank you for surpassing our expectations, making us feel like our child was one-of-a-kind and providing a summer to remember. We are enjoying the kids nature days and will attend fundraisers and programs throughout the year!

Great trails next to a lake, has a kiddie crawl trail kids can crawl through the forest bottom in a tunnel. Wildflowers and butterflies are abundant in the gardens as well as the occasional vagrant bird in the winter. The nature center has an excellent display area so kids can get up close examples of the wildlife that could be seen within the park. For the birdwatchers the nature center sells a whole bunch of bird related shirts, hats, and sweaters. Even grab a new feeder or two for back home!

My family and I have been coming here for years. Amazing is the only way to describe this park. From the woods, to the marshland and the lake itself there is a lot to see. Weve spotted muskrat, beaver, as well as a conveniently placed beavers den. Deer, eagles, just about any wildlife you can hope to see in PA can be spotted here eventually. The staff is great, and threw my daughter a great birthday party, complete with some of their reptiles. They also offer classes, such as yoga, kayaking, and local art shows. Cant recommend Silver Lake enough
