Just found out about this park and have already been a couple times. Easy access. So many great places for pictures, walking by the river, enjoying the lake, etc.. The Bark Park for the dogs is great too!

Rooster front park is the back side of Steele Creek Park it is two and half miles to the front entrance to the park. What a beautiful walk. I take my two old dogs there because it is an easy walk for them. Gravel walk and not much up and down hill. Love it.

Always enjoy my time at Steele Creek Park. Really enjoy the Mountain Bike Trails theyve got on both sides of the lake. Then when you finish you can go from Rooster Front to Steele Creek for a scenic casual ride.

Always clean and cared for, except for when the occasional racoon has had breakfast or dinner in one of the trash cans. Theres a lot to do here .. hiking, biking, walking, running, fishing. Its a great place to get away and unwind for a while and still be in the city.

I love this place! Everyone should visit. It has a main trail, secondary trail. Off main trail are several smaller of road like trails. The main trail is 2.2 miles and ends inside Steele creek park. Benches about every 1/2 mile. Feed geese, ducks in the a.m. also picnic area, childrens playground, basketball, tennis courts at trail head. Dog park and restrooms across the street. You can walk, run, ride your bike. Bring your dog (leash only) you get all of that for the low price of free. The trail has a beautiful backdrop. Beware of snakes, black snakes in particular, you are in their home ya know.

This park is beautiful. The bathrooms match what youd expect from a park. The scenery is great for photographs and it is very peaceful here. We could literally spend the day laying in the shady grassy areas by the creek/river. Didnt see barely any trash and felt like a clean environment. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing day where you want to be in nature but dont want to travel too far off the beaten path. Plenty of trails and even has a dog park

Rooster front is an amazing area to go enjoy a picnic or a stroll around several trails. There is basketball, tennis, playgrounds, shelters, and even a small and large dog park. We like to go here to start our walks. Pet friendly area with litter bags available in case you forget. There are some times when it can be a lot more crowded than others but usually not bad. The scenery is amazing beside the creek.
