Jacobs creek area has something for everyone, campers, swimmers, and fisherman. It is a beautiful area of the lake easily accessible off 421. They have a very nice family friendly swim area with bathrooms. There is a very long stretch perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. Do watch out for the boaters on the water. There is nice fishing in this area too day bass or night cat fish.

We love camping here! Not looking forward to reservations there but love the campground! Just wish there were more sites. And wish we could get our camper in our favorite spots but it wont fit in either of them now. Can not wait for them to open this year!

THIS PLACE IS TOTALLY DISHONEST. THEY OWE US 96.OO AND HAVE NOT GIVEN IT BACK..I GUESS ITS TIME FOR MORE LETTERS. THERE IS LITTLE FIRE WOOD . THE BATHROOMS ARE DIRTY AND SOMETIMES DYSFUNCTIONAL. PAY BY THW DAY...IF I WERE YOU...AND IF YOUR SMART DONT GO THERE AT ALL.

Had fun finding this spot again ( after 23 yrs) and sharing it with the Man Id be thrilled to spend the next 23 with ( If life as we know it still exists).. Or if its even better..

We just needed a place to stay overnight on our way to the smokys and we definitely fell in love with this place. There’s a nice bathroom facility + showers and the lady working there was very kind to us and did her job very well. We got a site right by the water and it was like our own little beach. Definitely had a wonderful time here even though we only stayed a night.

We love this place. Its quiet and right on the lake. Campsites are kept clean as well as the bathhouse. Our favorite place to camp on SoHo.

Nice place park ranger was a great guy but the hostess in section A is a hateful creature that acts like she runs the government. The gate is supposed to be closed at ten pm, but it was opened at midnight and traffic was horrible until five am all going to the first hostess camper. I have already submitted a review to the ranger. I have been coming here for years and she is the worst hostess ever. The forest ranger was informed that we was having a cook out and she came to our camp and run her mouth about the cars parked and this was at 6 pm hours before the gate is supposed to be closed just throwing her weight around and acting like a big shot. The ranger showed us how to park the cars and when I informed her of this she continued to run her mouth about it until her son told her to stop. I love this place but she needs to go and someone who doesnt think shes a big fish in a little pond when all she is, is a big mouthed horrible person that doesnt do the job shes paid for.
