I asked my kids how they liked the park... One gave it 1 billion thumbs up and the other 5 thumbs up. Playground was cool, very tall slides. Walking around the river was nice. Pretty clean park.

If you dont mind the drug dealers and the men who park and watch children play, then sure, its great. The park is really cool! The highway noise, and the emissions on the other hand ruin it. Wish they would of pushed the park back from the road some. The trails are beautiful, great for biking.

This park is wonderful! Brighton applied and received grants to rebuild parks this year but weve had to wait for our county to open. Xmas in July! For real!! We just visited this one today and Im super happy. Idk how they planned this theme but it is amazing and hits home.

Rode my bike from Adams County Park, Riverdale Park now, and stopped there for a rest. The new trail is awesome! Great job! I like Veterans Memorials, I think it is awesome that small towns do what they can to remember their Veterans and give us a place to sit quietly for a minute. Thank you!

Been here 14 years and we love it. ..we walk around the 3 lakes and ride our bikes here along the long trails that go north and south! Great exercise, great views!

Its a beautiful Park lot of walking space and theres a lot of sunshine and if you look West you can see the mountains snow caps in the winter beautiful Park playground for the kids doggy walks like a little fishing its cool and Im glad they neighbor the veterans Park they need to do more for vets

Nice spot and safe trailhead along the South Platte River.Turn around here after a motorcycle ride down Riverdale Road or cycling up the Front Range Trail.

Nice smaller open park area, clean. No restrooms during this time, of course. The memorial and beautification area built by the scouts still is a wonderful space to sit and enjoy.

Unlimited memories and great experiences at this park a real place of history in Brighton and surrounding areas

Good river access and the new playground is awesome! My kids love skipping rocks at the river there!

Cool place with an awesome park for the children. If going to the water it is a little dirty but still fun.

Excellent playground for children complete w/ a beautiful xylophone a climbing tower w/ long woopy slides. Nice walking distance 2 th Platte River & plenty of wildlife. Always a go time️

Nice park. Some areas still being worked on but has a decent sized open field and a fairly long travel trail. Great place to take your dog for a brisk walk. Good views as well!

Amazing park. I do believe they need to update the playground. Updating would go well how big this park is. In the past I have seen weddings here. Wildlife strolling. Trails all over, Lots of parking and a restroom. This would be a great place to hang out for a couple hours.

Great spot to access the South Platte and spend a sunny day on the water. There is a huge rock and sand bar right where you access and is a great place to take your dogs or kids, or a six pack of beer!! Lol

This a perfect scenic location by the riverside. Good for walking, jogging or just relaxing. There is a trail connecting the park to a residential area in the south.

My sons and I visit Veterans Park whenever we can. It makes for a wonderful day together, exploring along the rivers edge.

Nice park with some walking trails by the river. The signs need to be replaced though. The information on them is peeling off but still a fun place for the kids.

Clean park, public restrooms, open space, grills, picnic area, right by the river.

Great park for walks and they just completed the sidewalk to a reservoir about 1 mike south from the park.

Took the dogs here for a nice walk. Headed North along the trail till we found a spot to crossover the the bank of the river. It was pretty and the weather was great. Dog had a great time playing in the mud so we walked up the river to find a place to throw him in to rinse the poor guy off a bit before he gets back in my car. Up the river a bit we came across a group of guys smoking a joint. That cool up the river we walk until the dogs alert us to a campsite in the ruff area next to the river. Now I dont think these were boy scouts looked a bit more long term. So we turned around got back to the trail and headed out. Over all good walk but not sure Id go again I have this thing about getting stabbed by hobos!

Decent park - nice river walk. Unfortunately theres a lot of riff raff - begging, kids doing drugs, etc.
