Beautiful beach and ocean and very convenient to visit. Parking is available.People were fishing on the beach. There is an elevated lookout building. Wetlands with trails.
A beautiful stretch of shoreline, with a busy beach entrance, but a nearly-empty beach after about a half mile. There were a number of cars in the area they werent supposed to be in, but its still a beautiful part of the island. We spotted a lot of crabs, birds, awesome driftwood, and much more.
Really nice place to take your dog to the beach and the water was warm. The only issue is the green head flies. They are brutal and constantly bite you. That literally made us run back to our car to escape. I wouldnt recommend if you’re not a fan of bugs. Other than that you can even drive on to the beach with your SUV if you have a permit.
360 degree views of Brigantine. Surprisingly, you can see miles of ocean, marshland and Forsythe refuge from climbing one set of stairs to top level.
This area is awesome to visit. It has a small Pavillion that lets you see the ocean and the marshy areas. The parking is free. There are no cars allowed on the beach with out a permit and I believe no swimming. The black flies are pretty bad at time.
This is a beautiful, peaceful, and natural beach just to the north of Brigantine. After the end of the seawall is nothing but the dunes and waves of this natural area.
Untouched beauty. Just make sure you check out state and federal bird protection protocols before you make a long trek.
The lookout is a cool spot, but the greenheads were pretty fierce at sunset...be prepared!
Very natural & good place to visit!!
I think I prefer spending time here to the beach by the casinos. Less people and less commercialized.
Beautiful beach with 4x4 vehicle access. Many people fishing and walking their dogs.
Stunningly beautiful scenery!
This is a beautiful and peaceful place. People are great. Doggy beach is laid back and fun, also very clean! Its one of our family favorites!
Terrible - way way way too many black flies. And soon itll be greenheads - UNCOMFORTABLE!!!
It was nice I went surf fishing but its a shame the New Jersey doesnt allow it there anymore. Money people again thats why everybody should move out of that state I did a long time ago
Such a beautiful patch of land
One of the most beautiful places in Southern NJ. Very serene. Visit all year long. Great for swimming, fishing, artists, photographers, runners, and when you simply want to be in nature. Very beautiful special place.
Absolutely gorgeous. Photos dont do it justice. Lots of wildlife and trails to walk. Had a great day visiting the area
All natural dunes, ocean access and views
Beautiful spot. Got our beach BUGGY pass this year. Got mad that it is now 200 dollars and you can only drive along up to the bird tower but still nice. By the way if you want to drive to the north tip you have to pay an additional 75 dollars a year and you must have the 200 dollar permit to get to the north point.
Very friendly people, nice haircut, low price, quick.
Good but no fish!
One of my favorite long walks. Especially gorgeous in the fall. I wish there were fewer vehicles zipping up and down the beach, or at least an enforced max speed.
A beautiful sunset can be found here. Very short walk to the 2 story viewing pavilion. A ramp to the first floor only.
Great place to fish and relax
Great beach area, especially if you want a secluded spot. Seashell hunters will find large, unbroken shells.
Beautiful but they need to clean up the beach. The city used to take great care of it, not sure what happened
Love the little green head birds
We had an amazing time visiting this beach. It wasnt too crowded and were were able to bring our dog for his first ever beach trip! Were looking forward to coming back!
There are very few beaches as beautiful at North Brigantine. Four wheel drive vehicles are allowed to drive on the beach but in the Spring/early Summer the northern 1.5 miles is blocked for bird nesting so you can only walk this part. Its about 3 miles to the northern tip making for a great walk or run.
Beautiful.
Its a real nice place to go to fishing and swimming
Beautiful area - hope they continue to protect this treasured area.
Totally awesome, this huge jetty has a slowly changing landscape that almost morphs as you explore it. At night its one of the best places near Philadelphia and AC to star gaze.
Been going here my entire lifeSo much more peaceful than the south 4x4 beaches. Wildlife refuge, ocean and beautiful beaches with tidal pools.
Nothing to see.land breeze brings a lot of flys.
We love Brigantine. Great for 4x4 vehicles to drive onto and relax. Family friendly and clean. Beautiful views.
Brigantine is beautiful
Truly Awesome!! Surf fishing for stripped Bass
Love this place
Beautiful spot on a cool fall day
Beautiful!
Beautiful!
A little buggy early in the day during the summer, but come mid September this is one of the prettiest walks with my dog.
My father lives here and I bring the kids down the swim or play on the beach while I get some fishing in. We all get what we want and it is beautiful here
Awesome. Dog friendly out of season and drive your Subaru right onto the beach!
Pristine no one else around
Spectacular views of the north end of the island, the ocean and the state natural area. Sunset is the best time to visit.
Peaceful retreat from the crowds... just minutes from AC!
Great place to watch the ocean in action
The Duck House
Quiet and peaceful
Good for 4x4s
Lost a lot of beach
Everything was nice except the abundance gatherings of the dreaded greenhead fly.
Beautiful and tranquil!
Great place to visit
It twas a long walk. But we made it.
Sux that you need beach tags now I think its absolutely ridiculous
