Not the first time my girlfriend and i have stayed here but it gets better every time the new keyless entry is really helpful the only thing i miss is the dvd players

Clean accommodations with efficiencies in room...Carla at the cafe is a beautiful soul and the resort provides plenty of opportunities to relax meditate and unwind...water sports are inclusive...the lake is clean and clear...the kids loved jumping off the docks, the swings and the game room...perfect for weddings retreats and family reunions

I am a Maine native and was just looking to get away for a couple days to “decompress”. Carla (owner) was AMAZING! She is kind and attentive to any questions/ concerns and beyond accommodating! Also, it was reassuring to see her and other staff being diligent with cleaning surfaces and maintaining Covid safety guidelines. Canoes,kayaks, paddle boards, hammocks, and swings all made a peaceful stay that much more enjoyable! I will definitely be returning and recommending!

Such a cute place to stay. Owners are enthusiastic and very kind. The on site cafe is delicious. They even offer kayak rentals, firepits, and plenty of outdoor seating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!We’ve been coming to the Highland Lake Resort for over 15 years and we’ve always Loved it! Woodie and Dee made this place so special and wonderful and I don’t know how anyone can improve PERFECTION but somewhat Carla and Lindsay managed to do just that! Everything is absolutely FABULOUS and I couldn’t recommend it higher! The new little coffee shop is perfect, super cute, warm, friendly and reasonably priced as well! A thousand stars and over!Thank you all for running such a beautiful, serene, welcoming and magical place!

Such a cute place and well run. We were only here for a night but there are so many cool lake activities included like paddle boats, canoes/kayak, docks to jump off of, fire pit, grills. Theres coin operated laundry. It would be great for families! The rooms are updated and cozy. The black out shades were also awesome. The lake views are beautiful!

Everything was good, but there was one thing that annoyed me. Check in is at 3:00PM I got there at 10 minutes before after driving 6 hours, The woman in the office made me stand there for 10 minutes before giving me the code to get in the room. The room was not being cleaned or anything she just made me wait because check in is at 3. I travel a lot and hotels get you in as soon as they can if the room is ready. I thought this was very poor judgement on the hotels part.

Nice motel with easy access and plenty to do. Wish we could have stayed longer and taken advantage of some of the amenities there was cycling and multiple watersports available. Comfortable sleep and easy parking. Motorcycle friendly. Great breakfast (not free) on site.

Be sure to check out this hidden gem! Great views and lots to do to keep the family entertained, or just relax on a float in the Lake.The owner is wonderful and attentive as well.

Oh my, the pictures did this place no justice whatsoever. Wonderful service, so many amenities on the property that I can’t list them all here. My wife and I stayed here just one night, and we loved it so much we booked it for a full week next year. The cafe on property had awesome, unique breakfast foods as well!

Beautiful place with outdoor bathrooms

A very sweet lakeside property, perfect for families. I was only in town for a short time for a wedding and wish I could have enjoyed longer. The owner is terrific and strives to make the experience memorable.

Beautiful lake and grounds - biking, swimming and boating - no fees to use equipment. I cant possibly list all the things that are there to do. There is lots of space in comparison to the number of units, so even if they are sold out you wont feel crowded. The little cafe is great for breakfast and lunch and the coffee is wonderful.

So much fun. So many amenities. Special things for kids. Quiet space to relax with light music and soft lights. Beautiful and very nice staff.

Bed one of the most comfortable we have experienced while traveling

This was a plan for a birthday weekend for my husband. I had cancelled the second night three weeks earlier and the hotel acknowledged I called them and I was not only told it was confirmed, they did not tell me I had to call Orbitz. I tried for three days last week to resolve. The manager was to call me Thursdaay - never called me. I had to make new plans for the weekend which did not include going to the Casino because of no room to stay. I received an email at 5:02 on Saturday agreeing that I cancelled the second night - a little too late.

This place is gorgeous. The remodeling / upgrades have made a huge difference. The new cafe is delicious and the staff is super friendly. I love spending time here, the lake front property is perfect.

We stumbled upon this gem of a resort it looking for a nice place to stay while touring the fall colors in Maine. This place is chocked full of fun things and activities to do for a summer time getaway vacation trip. I wish the weather had been warmer as we would have loved using the canoes, paddle boards, dock, fire pits and other cool things they have onsite. The rooms came with a fridge, coffeemaker and microwave. The resort was very clean and extremely well managed. Samanthia (manager) was extremely helpful and friendly. The onsite cafe had closed for the season, so we didnt get to try that. If I ever vacation in Maine again, I will be staying here again.

We stayed at the Highland Lake Resort for 3 days and loved it. Every person working there was upbeat, happy and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the easy access to the outside deck and chairs to sit back and relax. We hope to go back for longer period next year!

Very disappointing. Cook forgot to turn the grill on and half an hour later finally decided to share this tidbit with us. A traditional breakfast is not available. Hope you get your act together.

The people who run this place care so much about their guests and their comfort. They have an obvious passion about serving the guest that is contagious!

So cute and cozy. Great location. The resort allows guests to use their kayaks and lake access is right on the property. Very clean.

The Highland Lake Resort is a very pleasant place to stay. The new owners have done a lot to upgrade the facility. The lake is beautiful, staff is friendly, and the cafe makes very god lattes. But its still a motel and the price seemed a bit high for the quality of the room.

Friendly staff, cosy rooms (not the biggest but well equipped and clean), huge amount of activities like paddle board, sauna, bonfires etc

Great place, its so pretty here. The room is updated and clean. I spend a lot of time in hotels traveling for work and Id definitely come back to this one.The owner is such is a nice lady who made sure we had everything we needed.

The heat was not working. The room was 58 degrees. Unacceptable.

You can feel the LOVE. New owners have updated the rooms and they are lovely, inviting and clean. Website pictures are accurate. All staff was exuberant about the resort, amenities and Bridgeton area. Delicious gourmet breakfast in one of the living rooms. Didnt have time for on site activities as we were attending a family reunion in Denmark. Gameroom, gym, sauna, laundry areas were immaculate. Nice location near quaint Bridgetown town and public beach. Excellent customer service. Carla called back to answer my question about early check in. She allowed us to check in at 11am as the room was available. Will be back July 2019.

New owners working very hard. My room had fresh new paint and new drapes. It has a fabulous location right on Highland Lake in Bridgton, Maine.

The people were so nice. They provided free food and threw a great Superbowl party. Ill definitely go back again.

We were the DJs at a wedding September 29th. The resort owner and staff did all the decorating and clean up. They were all amazing and very attentive. The grounds were freshly done, it was beautiful!

Going through new manage ment but still one of the nicest place around. The employees are all kind and sweet. Will 100% go back.

Room was very nice and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We took a kayak out on the lake for a bit and it was a blast! Great atmosphere and property

The room was spacious and clean. The carpet was dated and torn up in places. I was there for a cpr/first aid class and it was like kneeling on a cheese grater for six hours. An updated carpet and some padding might be nice.

Great place! On the water with plenty of boats and a nice fire pit with chairs.

A great value property located right on the lake in Bridgton. Check-in was smooth and every effort was made to make our stay both enjoyable and comfortable.

Comfortable room, expansive grounds, they have great Covid precautions in place. Really nice staff.

The room was basic, which was fine, but there was no heat and we froze. Could not find an extra blanket in the room.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was very clean, especially the bathroom, and the facilities are really nice, including the view of the lake. Wed definitely stay here again. The only thing we could ask for are car chargers for electric cars.
