Beautiful park, amazing views and the nature around is super well cared for. Only criticism is the restrooms were closed (I guess because of covid?), I get it, but what do you expect people visiting the park to do when they need to use the facilities and find out they are closed? Maybe instead of closing them someone could be sanitizing them more frequently like in any other place.

I spend whole day there until sunset and it was amazing. Sad part is if you are not from Connecticut then you cannot drive inside the park during Covid-19 situation otherwise it such a wonderful place.

I have never seen so many Canadian Geese! It was cold and windy but we had a wonderful time watching the white caps and snuggling with each other. Peace. Stay safe.

Very nice park/beach. During the summer its always packed. The beginning of fall it is a great place to go relax and clear your mind.

This is a nice big park on the water in Bridgeport. Theres paths to walk on that go along the water for a couple miles. Theres a cool lighthouse at the end of it. Theres also a beach with a lifeguard for the water. They have volleyball nets, baseball fields, and soccer nets. A great place to have a barbecue as well!

My 3 year old son loved slapshing in the water and went all the way up to his neck! Hes a trooper!... Then a reverend came over and if he would like to get baptized and I said sure, then we ate and sang jesus prayers in delight! God bless and amen!

I have always loved Seaside. A beautiful park, places to picnic and party. Beautiful old trees to sit under when the sand is too hot. Sidewalks to walk or jog or bike on. Theyve kept it so well the last few years. And all the improvements theyve made are well done

Great place for a cookout, play volleyball, walk on the sand, play soccer, see local baseball & softball games too, perfect place to go to on a sunny day. And there’s plenty of playgrounds for the children to play on. You could really underestimate how big the park is when you’re walking a lot. Just make sure you have the sticker on your car that lets the people there know that you’re allowed to park within the park. Oh and the sunsets are absolutely beautiful here.

Non-residents pay a high price to drive in to the park or the ocean which is Gods gift to man, not mans gift to humans. The town is enriching THEMSELVES on the backbones of the visitors that dont live in there. Leaves a Bad taste in your mouth when you have lived there and have many family (grand kids, etc.) and friends that you constantly visit and you have to note think twice when we want to go to the beaches or park in CT!!! CONEY ISLAND in Brooklyn NY where we originated from still TODAY is just finding parking and we go to the beach and amusement park with no charge to walk onto the sand or park or recently a $5 all day parking fee. NJ is another rip-off state for parks and beaches!!!

One of the best long, white beaches of good quality sand on CT coast. Not bad looking either!

I enjoy seaside it is a great beach for walking with plenty to offer. I enjoy walking along the beach and along the rocks to the light house. There is plenty to do like Fishing, Playground, Swing sets, and a beach area to relax.

I really enjoyed my time here. There are benches throughout the park, and close to the sea where you can enjoy the breeze. Its nice to have picnics as well.

Beautiful open space sprawling the south shore of Bridgeport, CT. Great spot for watching the ferry come in and out of harbour, and I would imagine also lovely at sunrise and sunset on a clear day. A little breezy, with lots of small branches down after the recent tropical storm Isaiah. Didnt come across a playground for the kids, but didnt trek past the western edge of Bridgeport University. Definitely one of the more scenic areas of Bridgeport from our discoveries.

Its great theres better beaches though a great choice to picnic swim or have a beach day

Seaside Park is a very nice spot if you wanna be by the water and have some nice quiet meditation time. Its a beautiful scenic visual and most of all just the ocean alone, the sound can put you in a state of tranquility.

Big beautiful park. Great on the week day. Parking fee $30/$40 for out of town, more for out of state. Found on street parking by UB, but walked a very long way to the beach and lighthouse. Walked almost 7 miles to the lighthouse and back.

Nice secluded area of the beach since only people who live in Bridgeport are allowed to go to the beach right nowthere was no one else in the area so it was nice and peaceful and there was a million shells.

Big beautiful park by the seaside! A little busy however nice place to visit however....you must be a Bridgeport residence but cmg from Beacon Falls... we are usually able to catch a parking space on the street.

Great place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view and the noise of the sea. I can definitely say I really like coming here and is a great way to get some exercise. I wouldnt reccomend it as Family Beach to play in; considering most of the time its adults and there ways of exercising. Terrain is great, tide is usually calm. And seems to really be a good place to work out.

Because its the most peaceful place in the port they should unlock gate at 7 a.m but not till 9 what a waste of morning!!!

I love seaside park but coming back to the place is not the same back then. It feel like when you go into the park whether in your car or walk by the sea, it feel like you trap in or barricaded from the park surrounding.

Has gotten much cleaner.Maybe bc of Covid.Shells on the beach seem cleaned up.Keep it up! Now they need a food stand!

As far as the beach, its a nice place to have some exploration, find some crabs and shells, and enjoy a day with the family. As far as the parking, tickets handed out for parking when the park closes, and the overall demeanor of the park personnel and police about.... :/ just dont park by the beach and bring a face mask to USE THE BATHROOM if youre not a child.

I think this place would be amazing in Summer for families of all ages. It was great to go and experience it through winter too though, the kids had a ball looking at all the seashells and seeing all the geese and just running along the water.

A beautiful park. designed by Frederick Law Olmstead - the designer of Central Park. Great beach, view, and field. Has a skateboard park that is good but monitored so there are too many bikes being use don the skateboard park. Would be better if the City took better care of the park overall.....

Seaside is beautiful...I walked from the beginning of the park on Main Street to the beach house I walked to the water on the beach and prayed.....Best thing ever Made me feel closer to God....

Always an amazing day at Seaside. Grew up on this beach and it has been a touchstone for most if my life. Clean, refreshing and people are very nice.

Famous park on the coastline of the LI Sound. Band shell, walking path and bike paths lead down to a lighthouse at the far southwest end. PT Barnum statue is a central fixture of the park.

The BEST BEACH in the State. Real sand NO rocks and the its the Largest. Fishing on the other side. History & Statues. Ball fields, Bath houses and a Concession stand. Playground and Water Play ground, Picnic tables and trees to sit under so many things to do. People walk daily. Plus we get low tide and high tide due to Long Island. Its Absolutely Beautiful.

Beautiful park with great access to the beach. There are volleyball courts, playgrounds, soccer fields and more. Its a very large park. During the summer, access via car is restricted to Bridgeport residents but those from out-of-town can park on side streets outside of the park and walk in.

Seaside Park is a pleasant and motivational location. I lived on Park Terrace in Bridgeport, CT for over 20 year which put me within walking distance of this park. I have seen beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Clear and cloudy skies. Even the flooding and damage after Super Storm Sandy. This is simply a beautiful and relaxing place for family fun, community picnics, couples outing or solitude. I would certainly recommend locals and visitors alike take a moment and go to Seaside Park.

I grew up in Bridgeport and went many times as a child and teen. There was a period where it wasnt that clean, but thats changed. The beach now is clean and the water is clean. It was a great experience.

Didnt really feel safe here. Parking was a challenge. I would not go back.

Amazing baseball field! Right next to the ocean, with such a great breeze coming off the sea. Clean restrooms too.

Went to a car show at seaside park. Very clean. They added a small kids water park. Beautiful park to relax.

For peace, go early. Despite people always saying the city is a hot mess, seaside is miraculously always pretty clean. But I go in the morning before the crowds starts. So thats why Ive never seen it dirty. We go in the water all the time. Bathroom facilities are decent. Showers are as well. They have a grill cafe that sells burgers and minimal stuff. Theres area for cookout, outdoor playground area, you can walk to the lighthouse, lots to do.

Very nice place to go for a walk or look for shells. Only complaint is one jack off who thought it was cool to blast Latin music from his car.

Its changed since my youth but its still a very nice place to visit. I rode my motorcycle there one one of the most nicest days Ive seen in a long while during the winter season and it was very enjoyable. I relaxed and was able to contemplate on things.

Great beach, they have been very good in regards to social distancing and capacity. Currently open to only Bridgeport residents which is for me, also a plus.

This is a beautiful beach to visit. Several playground two bathhouse with showers. Tons of parking picnic tables, sports fields etc.and a water playground. Very family oriented.

The beach is really nice with options to walk along the water or the nicely paved sidewalks. The playground options are nice, accessible bathrooms, and picnic tables/grilling space!My kids always enjoy our time at seaside!

Nice place to walk along the soft white sand beach, and get up close to a beautiful lighthouse. Spend the day grilling (lots of grills and picnic tables along the beach) or just a simple picnic with family.

The amount of garbage in the waters by the shore, I thought it would be nice to go in for a walk but the amount of people there thru this pandemic was ridiculous! Just so bad and people literally letting their kids and family get in that nasty water

We took the bus here because we were out-of-towners and did not want to pay the fee the walk-in its free this is a very Lively Beach Park. There was a DJ and beach itself had lush sealife, very natural seashells and seaweed the water was very cold. Restaurants needed updating they need some lights and a little brushing up a very dark inside wrong the park was very clean it was a much trash other than napkins they were blown away from people barbecuing I would recommend doing here and I will come again very great experience. I recommend taking the bus because it gets really packed during the weekend. Come early because early because theyre little Islands that form kiddie pools 2 p.m. or before.
