This was a great experience with my family. We first started the day getting a bikes at the rail trail bike shop in Brewster and headed north towards Orleans and did about 4 mi and turned around, and then we headed south towards Dennis and did about another 4 miles and turn around.Along the way we stopped at JTs restaurant for lunch in Brewster. I kept convincing the kids that we would go to a ice cream shop and thats what kept them motivated to keep on peddling. The trails are fairly flat and very small lengths that you have to go uphill. Most people are very good with the bike rules however you have to make sure that you let people know that youre going to be passing on the left side.

I wish we had places like this where I lived. The scenery that you encounter on this trail is amazing. They keep it so well maintained and it feels so safe. The trail is fairly easy to travel via bicycle, not many inclines. My 12 year old and myself did it and he didnt complain once. So many places to stop along the way

Nice bike trail but lots of at grade street crossings you really need to pay attention to. Also, there are some significant bumps along the trail where youll need to be certain youre safely hanging onto your bars most of the time. Otherwise very pleasant and reasonably flat.

Well maintained rail trail with nice vistas and places to water up and eat along the root. Lots of visitors in the summer but usually a pleasant experience. Safe, enjoyable experience for families and friends or the bicycle enthusiast.

Longest trail on Cape Cod. Flat. A bit boring on the north end. Much better Orleans center and west if there

A great place to bike or walk. Gentle slopes and wide paving. The 22+ original miles now extended several miles, with a bridge over the Bass river. (A senic spot). And the original trail connects to the Old Colony Trail in Harwich. Kid friendly and most of the way there are food and dessert places abutting or close by.

An extremely well manicured bike/walking trail. Plenty of friendly people too. Bring water and snacks and be prepared for some uphill portions.

Beautiful and very well maintained. Some spots had a strong smell of sewer lines but they were far and few in between. Overall a great trail.

Rail trail that is uphill in both directions!! Well you pedal all the time because it is flat! And this is good. Road crossing s easy ,at busy crossings it is under or over pass. Mostly rural trail . Fantastic!!

Terrific bike path. Well-maintained, pretty, and almost entirely away from roads. Takes you to quite a few great mid-Cape areas like the Coast Guard Beach and Chatham. Along with the rest of the Cape bike trailway, one of the best things about Cape Cod.
