My boyfriend and I stayed here and had a wonderful time. Room was super clean with a full kitchen. Pet friendly so also a plus for my pooch.I’ve never had such accommodating and thorough customer service such as this resort. We accidentally left our Apple Pencil in our room and within a couple hours the head of housekeeping called me and let me know they had found it and would mail it to us no cost. I give this stay a 10/10!**also, if you go to the ocean terrace get the clam chowder. By far the best New England chowder I’ve ever had!

I stayed here for four nights and this was definitely a good place to stay the beach was nice there’s just crabs at low tide but the beach service is very good and fast the rooms were really nice the only thing is I went into the room to get something while the room service was there and the women DID NOT have their mask on properly that’s really the only concern the beds were comfortable I slept good and I would definitely stay here again

Very disappointing. My good friends were staying to celebrate a special occasion. My husband and I called the front desk to arrange for a nice bottle of wine and a card to be sent to their room before their arrival. When our friends arrived there was no bottle in the room. I called several times that night and was assured it would be delivered and then confirmed it was delivered. It was never delivered. I spoke with several people and and then eventually a manager. The manager called me by the wrong name but said they would deliver the wine and it would be on the house. Upon seeing what was actually sent to the room (not what we asked to be sent) and a card with the WRONG name on it prompted me to write this review. It seems like there is a major disconnect going on at this hotel and customer service is not a priority.

First vacation with my boyfriend for our anniversary after being quarantined for so many months. I REALLY wanted to love this place and was extremely let down. We arrived early the day of check in to have a full beach day and once we arrived we were told check in wasnt until 5pm. So I had paid $700 for a day/night that I was barely in the room for. We had a 6pm reservation so by the time we got our room we were rushed to get ready and had no down time. We went to take a shower and the tub clogged up so when we removed the plug in the tub there was a ball of hair and a bandage! I understand that no place is perfect but we waited ALL day for that room to be cleaned and we went up to that. We had dinner at the ocean terrace. For the price of the place I was hoping for a very high end dinner because thats what my boyfriend and I like. We were very let down by the small portions, the way the steak was cooked & asked for a table with a ocean view that morning saying it was for a special occasion and was not given that. (Also why I thought $700 a night might have been worth it. For the ocean views.) After dinner we were still hungry so we went to the front lawn for the brick oven pizza .. which was 10x better than our first dinner. We went back to the ocean terrace the next morning for breakfast hoping to at least get that ocean view we wanted and a big nice breakfast and the menu had only 3 options... We left and went to the local place down the st. Truthfully all your paying for here is a beautiful beach day on the private beach and the awesome beach bar over looking the beautiful blue water... This place is a scam I will not be back.

The perfect place to stay on cape cod with a gorgeous golf course, tennis courts, a private beach complete with beachfront bar, two other bars/ restaurants, a range of accommodating price options and fantastic service. I had paid to stay at the Mansions for 4 evenings at $450 a night. This hotel is not following CDC guidelines . I was told when I booked my room in March that the hotel would be at half capacity and everyone on staff would be masked. 3 nights were at full capacity. No on in my floor in housekeeping wore a mask and servers in the restaurant all had noses exposed. Please don’t endanger you’re guests if you’re not ready to open

Staying in a condo is nothing like staying at the Inn. Although the apartment was larget6(2 bedrooms and a den), the services were lacking. We asked several times for extra coffee and soap but it never came. The tp ran out and we needed the maid to give us a roll but she never gave enough when she cleaned the room (which we had to request). She was pleasant enough but did not understand. Food service was limited but breakfast was good

My husband and I booked a room for two nights in a mansion wing over February School Break. We were excited to return to Ocean Edge having had several happy stays over the years. We were put in a room right next to the elevators - not a big deal. We came home from a day out to find about 8 young boys playing knee hockey in the hall. Again, not a big deal - I teach elementary school and understand kids have energy. However, three hours later they were still playing, screaming and running up and down the halls. Their parents did nothing to control the activity. We were trying to nap. We called the front desk and were told they couldnt make people stay in their rooms and that it was a hockey tournament group and February break. We said that wasnt our problem and we wanted some quiet time. They offered to put us in a suite in another part of the hotel but hockey families were there as well. We decided to stay put. Again in the evening there was a good amount of noise and activity until close to midnight.Checking out the next morning the front desk apologized for the noise saying they tried to spread the group around to keep the noise down. Really? So other guests have to be surrounded by youth hockey teams with no quiet options? Very poor management decision. The hockey group should have all been put in one section of the hotel to allow other guests the experience they paid for. I understand it was February break. It was my vacation week, too. The hotel took $75 off our bill and said they hope our next stay will be better. I told them although we love the property, we will never return. ALL guests need to be considered when planning room assignments and Ocean Edge failed miserably.

When we got to the room, everything was clean and room looked nice but there was no body wash and we were missing a pair of slippers, also the robes looked very over used and worn out on the inside, it was kind of gross. The towels were like sand paper. we called to ask for slippers and body wash and waited for maybe 30 minutes but we were anxious to go explore so left thinking the would just leave our stuff inside our room.We went to the beach bar and the service was awesome, drinks were good but the chicken nuggets were rock hard and over breaded and the fries were cold. When we got back to our room we called back and asked about the slippers and body wash and they said their log said that they had been delivered to us already, they weren’t. Our stuff came promptly after that, they were apologetic and said there was a mix up. Then we went to dinner at Linx tavern. Again, the service was wonderful but the food was bad and over priced. We had the wings as appetizer, they were really good! For entrees, my husband got the swordfish and I got the steak. The food was cold! Like actually cold. The sides were underwhelming and the tomato thing on the swordfish was way too sweet. We felt the food was very over priced for the quality. We had a bath planned for when we got back to our room. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because of the deep soaking tubs in each room. When we got back, we discovered there was no plug for the drain so we called front desk and asked if that was normal and they said no, it should have had a plug so he sent maintenance. The maintenance guy was very nice and apologetic but said he couldn’t fix it that night because there was a whole part they had to change in the drain, and nobody had noted that it was broken before. he said they could do it tomorrow and it was a bummer but we said that would be ok since we were going to be out all day.The next day we went to the terrace for breakfast and this was definitely the best meal we had from all the places in the resort. Service was once again excellent both at the coffee cart and on the terrace. The food was good, salmon bagel and the eggs, both solid. My husband then went off to have yet another underwhelming and overpriced experience at the spa and I went to the beach. When he got back to the room he noticed the drain still hadn’t been fixed so called front desk and spoke to someone who sounded like he was inconveniencing them. They said their logs said the tub was fixed same as with the stuff from the day before.. he assured them that it was not fixed and that someone needed to come and fix it. The response was very short with no apology and stated someone would be by later in the day .then we hung out on the pool that feels more like a public pool than a resort pool and the water was freezing though I thought the website said it was heated. When we got back, the nice maintenance guy was arriving to fix our tub and he did and we were able to have a bath that night, which was nice.we left the resort for dinner as we had learned our lesson with the food quality in the resort.Later that night we were parched and had ran out of the water bottles we had brought with us so called front desk to ask for some water and they said they couldn’t bring us water since the restaurant was closed but we could drive down the road to buy some. This felt very unacceptable to me, I’ve been to many way cheaper hotels that provide water for guests in the room. Its like, the bare minimum. Not even a vending machine on premises! Overall the whole experience was bummer after bummer and we left underwhelmed and a little annoyed. We did not get the quality we deserved for the price we paid. No one really cared that it was our honeymoon, we weren’t expecting fireworks but at least a little something to make us feel special! But there was nothing. I will also note that most of the time we called for something (front desk, housekeeping, spa) we had to call more than once because there was no answer which is odd for a resort.

Overall this is our favorite resort at the Cape. However this time around we had some issues. We were put in a basement unit and charged the same as an upper level unit which doesnt seem right, twice within 24 hours our room keys had to be re-issued due to malfunction, and the Britterige village is a dead zone and despite the resort having wifi we could not get a consistent phone/text or wifi signal. Signal was very weak, intermittent, or not existent. They were very good about their COVID precautions which caused waiting in line for the main pool or lack of availability at the restaurants, however for safety I wouldnt change it. I recommend this resort as a place to stay, but do your homework before booking. I recommend the Arbor Village or the Mansion if its in your budget.

I stayed at the villages, it sucked. it was filthy, there was trash everywhere, bet cans, schnapps bottles, cigarettes lots of cigarettes. big sticky stain of something that soiled the rig and was never cleaned up, gum stuck to the ac unit, the screen door kept popping off. sheet rock discuss all over the window sill obviously not ready for guests. I alerted them they offered me free buffet breakfast for my son and I. I thought it and said for dinner for myself, he was at camp, they offered the pub, I asked for the terrace which they agreed to. skip the Chatham muscles and chorizo, clam chowder was good, halibut was really good. indoor pool was nice there is a hot tub as well. locker room is small the sauna said it was supposed to be in the mood 100s the temp inside said 235. too hot for me. they hire young foreign exchange type workers. Chloe from Ireland at the desk, Ally from Russia and Rasheda from Jamaica at the pool, Nicholas from Arizona waiter at the terrace all were absolutely wonderful. simply delightful people. I would NEVER stay at the villages which is just down the street again but I would consider the main Mansion grounds. Mansion and its grounds are beautiful. with the exception of Nicholas I found the Americans to be less inviting personally, they were polite dont get me wrong, but somehow cold compared. there is an Irish guy ,Tom I think ,who coordinated the foreign workers around the grounds he is very pleasant as well.the one thing I did notice was some of the foreign workers seemed a bit nervous when the higher ups came around, jumpy maybe its a cultural thing who knows . if you go engage the foreign folks, from the ones I mentioned above to the random grounds keepers simply delightful people to chat withDONT stay at the villages

Oh, thanks for the patio furniture so old and dirty you couldn’t even use. The bathroom had sand everywhere and the shower head was full of mold. Gross!!!! The carpet was discussing and there were bugs everywhere. The furniture inside looked like it was purchased at a flea market and was in disrepair. I also was shocked to learn and was not informed until arrival that if you reserved in the villages you could not access the private beach or beach bar. Seriously this is why I booked the resort in the first place. I will never come back for that reason alone even though I received an email a week before the stay highlighted this as an activity. Both at registration (short staffed, waited over 5 minutes for staff to get off phone to check us in) and at Bayzos Pub (the only resort restaurant open early October at 7pm. Very limited choices). Didnt seem as short staffed, but staff working couldnt handle a smallish crowd... maybe 20-30 people between tables and the bar. After 5 min a waitress said that from the high top table we were sitting at we should order from bar. Kiss of death. I wont go into detail, but after 10 more minutes we left to try our luck at a local tavern down the road.

We had passes to their private beach even though we were staying in the villages since we were there for the wedding. The following day we went down on the beach. I loved this part. An attendant carried chair out that they provided and anchored an umbrella for us. The best part, we ordered drinks and lunch on the beach and had them on the beach. I would not recommended this place! As far as the room, very clean and nice but no mini fridge, the door to the patio stuck and was difficult get out to the patio and the shower drain was plugged. Also, no ice machine available... we had to call room service to bring ice to us! And if your planning breakfast, plan on waiting on a long line for your omelette station, because only one person was working!Saturday night and we were looking forward to a nice dinner overlooking the ocean on their Ocean Terrace restaurant. But the rudeness of the waitress and arrogance of the chef ruined that moment!. My husband ordered the halibut which came with asparagus, but could not have due to an allergy. We asked the waitress if she could sub the vegetable with the squash which was offered with another dish. Simple... but no! The waitress just rolled her eyes and said she would ask the chef but already decided we couldn’t change because “ they already portioned out all the meals!”What? How did they know what guest were going to eat? After several minutes the waitress returned and just said that we could not substitute the vegetable and that the chef just wouldn’t put any vegetable on the plate! We paid for my warm glass of wine and left. But the biggest reason for my low review, be careful if you use the safe in the room. We had forgotten that we had locked up valuables in the room safe during our stay and had checked out and forgotten the item inside. It was 3 hours later before we realized that we had left that item but when we called, they already knew we left this item in the safe. So why hadn’t they called us? We’re they ever going to contact us? All we were told is that management escorted the item with the maid to the front desk so we could pick it up there with ID.... thank god we got the item back!Use caution when booking a room at the mansion, Overall experience was very disappointing!

Beautiful beach. Otherwise, this place could have been a super 8 motel which was built in the late 80s. The rooms were old, with lots if little annoying problems like a toilet that didnt flush, stains all over the furniture and carpw, and shower door which didnt close, and a kitchen which barely had anything to cook with. Everything on the property is premium pay-per-use pricing including using the gym, riding a bike, or roasting a marshmallow. If you are paying $1000 bucks per night , you would think that they would at least let you use some of their amenities. Comparably priced resorts anywhere else in the world would come with newer rooms and much better amenities. My advice: you can go to beaches in Cape Cod for free which are just as nice, and skip this tired old resort.

My only one issue is the amount of staff standing around chatting not paying attention to customers, we actually had to ask to be served. There were too many staff at the bar and they were not being supervised at all, hence the amount of chatting amoungst them. It was very easy to over hear their conversations and given the level this establishment seeks to present I found this wrong.

This is not something serious but you should really bring at least your own pillow; other then that this place was amazing and will definitely stay again :)

This resort is beautiful and in a great location. The condo included a full kitchen, living room, small deck and one bedroom. We loved the indoor swimming pool with spa and sauna also available! Poperty have golf course, bike trail and pond access. Lot of great public beaches around and was able to capture great sunset pics. Really had good time with family will definitely plan to stay here again.

Not maintaining it as well as they did. Lots of mildew on pool furniture and patios. Missing tiles in pool. Lights not working on walkways. Poor supervision of summer staff too. Generally getting pretty rundown.

My wife bought me a $200 gift card last Christmas thinking she was buying me a round of golf. Whomever sold it to her was very glad to take her money at that time but failed to tell her I had to be a resort guest in order to play the course. No reason for us to stay there as we are year-round Cape residents. Who knew the $200 was meant to be a down payment on a host of other charges theyd like to get from us...including the cost of a room, restaurant charges and other fees. If you want to gift your friend or loved one a round of golf, be mindful they want you to stay there and might think theyre like Pebble Beach in that regard.
