My wife and I go here several times a year and always have a great time. Get there early to get the floor seats, but the balcony seat are fun also. They offer food and adult beverage here for all shows. I just love that there are tables to sit at and enjoy time with friends. This is not a movie theater, this is a theatrical theater and musical productions. You need to get your tickets early they often sell out. Seems to be renovated, the place is in great shape. The staff has always been helpful and nice.

The Admiral is a great historic theater that has been host to some really cool talent. Weve seen rock bands, theatrical performances for a field trip, and most recently Sounds of the Season. Sounds of the seasons is in its 25th year. Our son played with his high school jazz ensemble, and the talent showcased that evening was broad and skilled. It was an enjoyable evening. The history of the theater adds to the experience. They have floor seating that offers food/dinner depending on the show. We sat in the balcony and enjoyed the view.

This is a beautiful theater. Built in the 1940s and renovated recently it now hosts mostly stage plays and conventions. Its a beautiful example of what I understand to be a late art deco style. It really is a beautiful building and the renovation has resulted in a beautiful theater with a nostalgic feel to it.We were lucky enough to get a private tour.... wish we were in town long enough to attend an event here!

Great theater! Wish they had turned on the movie screens so we didnt miss half the show happening on the lower level, but Im not going to rate the whole venue based on one lame thing. Ill definitely come back. Sound, lights, and everything else were fantastic.

Even the balcony seats offer a good experience. The building is older, but even the performers appreciate the feeling of intimacy and closeness to the audience. Floor seats with dinner is also a fun option.

Great show, excellent atmosphere and good service. But we bought dinner seats, showed up 45 minutes before showtime and were told that our food options were popcorn and hot dogs. This venue should advertise this limitation instead of the misleading “dinner” options.Update: I received a response from the owner to my complaint that the the theater lacked food upon our arrival 45 minutes before the show. The response was that their website was not misleading, backed up by a quote from the website which is, in my opinion, still misleading. The owners conclusion therefore is that it is me and not them. I either did not read or my reading comprehension is poor. Thanks for a defensive and not helpful posture. I did not receive an email like the one you describe regarding dinner options. The passage you quoted does not say that you plan to sell out and therefore there is significant risk of not being able to purchase food if you do not arrive an hour and a half before the show. It does not say that although you advertise serving dinner that you are not a restaurant and therefore you disclaim any expectations from patrons that dinner would be available. The passage quoted does say, first come first serve. I guess I should have taken that to mean show up an hour and a half early if you want food other than popcorn and hot dogs. Got it.

For at least 10 years my husband and I have attended 4 to perhaps 10 shows - as well as sponsoring 1 - each season. Attractive venue, generally very good shows, many great ones, some tremendously excellent ones! Plus good food, whether dinner or popcorn/snacks. Born in Bremerton and seeing MANY movies there growing up [remember Movietone News? :-) ], I was thrilled to see it renovated as performance theatre instead of being torn down as an outdated, useless empty building. I especially like the undersea-theme wallpaper, complete with mermaids! Terrific to have - in little old Bremerton - acts like Tony Orlando, Midtown Men, Brothers Four, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Gaelic Storm, Peking Acrobats, Louis Prima Jr., Al Stewart, Doo Wop Project, Kenny G, Judy Collins ... oldies, current artists, singles, groups ... so much to choose from. Try it, youre sure to find SOMETHING youll like.

I wanted to take the time to write this letter expressing my feeling as to how you ended your School Day Series event Very Hungry Caterpillar.  Although the play and puppets/costumes were great and the kids really enjoyed it, I feel the way your staff ended the event was rather poor.  First, when the staff asked for questions they only took questions from the front few rows, when there were children in the back with questions.  They staff could have easily had other staff members positioned throughout the seating areas to call upon children with questions.  Second, allow more that 4-5 questions asked.  Third, if you tell the children they can come on stage and tough/feel the puppets then allow all of the children the opportunity not just a select few.  My daughter attended the play and was devastated when she wasnt called upon for her question to be asked; furthermore, she was very upset and cried when she tried to see the puppets up close and was told the event was over and she couldnt get on stage and the staff left.  Children. Are very impressionable at these young ages.  If feel the staff and event coordinator can do a better job that will ensure the children all have an equal opportunity throughout the event.

Fun night out. I have been going to the comedy night on Thanksgiving weekend for years. Short drive, free parking in Bank lot one block over makes it a breeze no matter the weather. Full bar, small amount of food choices. Snacks can be purchased in a small room just off the lobby. If you want a Date Night, just four blocks over on the same street is a great restaurant open till 11 pm with a five dollar happy hour menu that features a burger and fries. They have drinks also. Dont bother moving the car. Safe well lit streets makes it an easy stroll.

It doesnt hurt to arrive early for parking and walk to a local restaurant. While the dozen plus times weve attended they usually served dinner (sometimes you can only get limited offerings) its difficult to reach anyone to confirm your meal. Two other couples were discussing this same dilemma at last nights fantastic Don Felder concert. Im guessing the reason can be attributed to staffing issues as they do use volunteers - which is a good thing except for restricted contact hours. Table seating is good but viewing is better in balcony section. Support our local businesses. They pull in some great shows.

Overall, our experience was nice. Our server was super friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed the show (of course, our kids were in it, how could we not)! But we had one large disappointment. My boyfriend and I dont get out much, so having a nice dinner was a treat for us. However, the menu only had 4 items. And on one hand, I totally understand, its for ease of getting meals out as quickly as possible and reducing difficulty in the kitchen. And I would have been AOK with that, if when our 19.00 chicken strips meal had consisted of more than 3 VERY SMALL chicken strips and a handfull of fries. I honestly wish i had taken a picture to show how small the portion was. In the future, I will most definitely not be eating here if this is typical.

We had 3 seats in the balcony. People in front of us got up alot during the show including climing over the railing. Also others frequently walking in front to and from thier seats. I would like to suggest the ushers minimize the movement of guests during the show. It was our first visit to the Admiral theatre. I feel like we missed a great part of the show.

I just went here for the first time and really enjoyed it. I went for a concert, and the sound was pretty good, both in volume (it wasnt too loud, yes!) and in quality. The staff was nice, the balcony seats were good, and the restrooms were clean. The after-concert line for CDs and signing was well-managed. The way the hall is painted is pretty darn cool. I bought tickets to see a show that I was very much looking forward to see. My daughter got the stomach flu and has a temperature of 100 degrees. I called to exchange the tickets but the manager was steadfast in not refunding or exchanging (which is all I wanted) our dates no matter what. I told her that I was extremely disappointed as this was something that I could not have predicted and had been very much wanting to attend. She refused to budge. Our family has been a part of many productions here, all of which weve always paid full price and paid well for food and drinks as well as tips. I wasnt asking for a refund, just an exchange so that we could go on a day when my daughter wasnt sick and possible infectious. She had zero concern even when I suggested that it wasnt a good idea to have a person in the audience with a possible contagious sickness, telling me it was my choice if I decided to come or not on the night I bought the tickets for but there would be no catering to my special needs. I am greatly unhappy with the policy as well as the managers response. I will not be giving them any positive reviews when prompted ever again. It could have been much better.
