Great place to catch a great movie! The staff is always attentive, friendly and the food is good. This is a great place also to get dinner and watch a movie at the same time. Very comfortable seating especially with the reclining chairs. This is my fave movie house service. The manager is on top of things. Highly recommended!

This local theater will save you tons of money compared to large chains, both on tickets and concessions. Food and alcohol are available as well for purchase! Only 5 screens and it can take longer for new movies to become available here, but its worth the wait.

Its an old movie theater. Like how movie theaters used to be when I was a kid. If youre looking for the new style theaters with those big comfy bucket chairs this isnt the place for you.The tickets here are real cheap. $10 for two people is great value. They sell popcorn, nachos, and sodas at the front. And beer. They serve beer. What else could you ask for?

Nice place to watch a movie after the movie left the big chain Cinemas also without the long lines , theres plenty of snacks to choose from at the concession stand and the bathrooms are clean plus an added bonus is the staff is friendly. Enjoy your movie !

Making a night out with a large family possible. This theater is no frills. I mean all the luxury things like leather and recliner seats are not going to be found here. However, a very fair price per ticket is a decent trade off if you ask me. The theater is old but they keep it clean. Staff is friendly. Seems to be a hidden gem. Never really had a full house at this location. No matter what movie youre seeing. Hidden gem for sure.

Dirty!!! Could here the movie next to ours! Screen is small and oddly high so it hurts your neck. Pay more to go somewhere else! I went cuz time slot was good and thought being cheaper was great too. WRONG definitely wont go back

Dont listen to the bad reviews on here, this place is awesome and the employees that work there are so hardworking, especially when its busy. It may not be fancy but the tickets prices are cheaper compared to most places and its great for large families. The building may be kind of old but thats what gives the place its charm.

I got food poisoning from their popcorn last night. I put butter on it Incase that helps anyone. I wanted to just kindly call and warn this theater of food poisoning but they don’t have a person answering phones. Everything else about the theater is fine, I don’t need fancy. Just want to warn people of rancid popcorn/butter

Very cost effective, but confusing as to where you purchase your tickets. Also the movie theater is REALLY dark...like too dark. Even the screen seems a little dim. Not my first choice.

They have no theaters with recliners, food is good but that is it and lights did not even turn off once movie started. I had to go ask for them to turn off and missed beginning of the movie. I left due to missing the beginning and they did refund movie and concessions for inconvenience which I appreciate.

This place is friendly and costs are about half of what other theaters charge. The individual theaters are smaller than the full charge theaters and it is not stadium seating. Given that the movies have already been out for a while that show here, it is worth the drive to see a movie that is about to leave the big screen.

Simply put, the popcorn is the tastest of all the movie cinemas. I go there to purchase the popcorn only. Hence my five star rating.

Brea Plaza cinema was good. It could use a remodel but the movie experience was good, sound and screen. Popcorn is a bit salty for my taste. Staff is friendly and welcoming which i really appreciate.

The price was about $7.25 for the evening ticket. Cheap, but you mostly get what you pay for. The seating is standard seats, non-reclining. In fact, most look like theyve not been cleaned in years - some have lost fabric. The video quality was fine and so was the sound. I would prefer to go to Cinema City if it werent so far away

This movie theater isnt as new or big as other movie theaters Ive been to. The seats do not recline either so its not as comfortable. However, I think they make up for it with the cheap tickets even if you dont have movie pass. Evening tickets are $6.95 which is the cheapest Ive seen in 10 years or so, i could be wrong.One of the main reasons I stopped going to movie theaters is because of the recent high prices but this place is awesome if you only watch a couple movies a year and want to see a newly released movie for ultra cheap.It was good when i took my kids, now they are all grown up.

Yesterday, I went there for the first time to watch Jurassic World. The movie theater was great and we enjoyed the movie. All was great except customer service. Our cashier Tracy Logan had this this attitude. She yelled at us like if we were dumb. When we asked again how much were the tickets, she shouted “I already told you.” I hope her supervisor or boss read this review and talks to her about this and that they train the employees for good costumer service.

This theater is clean, has the most popular movies and usually is not crowded unless theres a big release that weekend. they also have sour cream popcorn and caramel! they also screen many new korean movies which is nice since this is the only venue for korean movies in ktown

This place is cool nice to see a movie and not put a hole in the pocket! But sometimes you do have to go out and tell them to start the movie and one time there was a line in the middle of the screen and the said it was broken I couldn’t leave cause I had the kids lol but I still go I don’t eat there just watch movie and leave it’s not a super clean place floor is always sticky to but I still go and watch movies for 5$ Sometimes the even get new movies! Not the best selection of films but great ticket prices always a delight to see a movie at this venue. With such cheap pricing, its easier to enjoy even a bad movie. The seating is comfortable and the screens are large enough. The theaters are clean and well maintained. The snacks are, like all theaters, higher than they should be but they have a good selection.

The place is great but the rating is for the movie Isnt it Romantic. Low budget, poor dialog and acting. Its a real sleeper literally. Wait for the DVD to come out if you want to save money.

I love this theater keeping it old school and simple. Usally not croweded when i go but i never go at night so i wouldnt know. Tickets are pretty much half the price of AMC ticket, so its a little more affordable when your going in big groups family or friends. Especially family and you would have a little bit more money to spend for food. Tickets here are like 5-7 bucks per person.

This place is extremely inexpensive they do serve alcohol to very nice nice place I mean so the money theyre spending to watch a movie there youre getting a lot it is so much worth the value and the movies here are freaking spot on

Low price.Free refills on soda since they have that coke machine that gives you every flavor.You even get a free refill on a large popcorn. I like the popcorn seasoning they offer too. I have been there many times...If you dont mind waiting 3-4 weeks for a new movie, the price is right. Friendly Service, good snacks at decent prices and Clean on most occasions. Sticky floors during the later shows on the weekends. Bathrooms have always been clean.Try it, you will like it!Wish there were more theaters that catered to the family on a budget.

My sons and I went to the first showing of the day during their spring break. Theater did not open on time. They only had 2 people working which was not sufficient to handle the crowd that arrived. Before the movie began the sound was not working. When informed by myself and others that there was no sound we were assured that the sound would turn on once the feature presentation began. They were not surprised or concerned that there is no sound for the previews. The sound did not come on with the feature presentation. After being informed that there was still no sound the audience had watched at least 10 minutes in silence. Finally, they checked the sound, decided it could not be fixed quickly, and cancelled this showing. The only reason I am not giving them a lower review is because they did offer refunds or tickets to a later showing. Wasnt too happy that I wasted money on overpriced snacks to enjoy during a movie that was cancelled.

It was Sunday my son and I wanted to see the wizard movie. We paid for the movie & a soda and popcorn. Got soda the popcorn was cooking they said so i waited. 10 minutes later the show is starting. Still no corn. I worked in dland one year outdoor foods popcorn stand #3 in the 70s. It takes 7 minutes to cook popcorn.With 6 others we got free movie all money was returned.

The theater is old and the seats are dirty. Screen is too high and small. Sound system isnt as great as the others.

I was here for a screening this afternoon, and was left not satisfied. The only pro is cheap tickets. The seats are uncomfortable, the screen is far too small. There is no sign where to buy tickets, I was told to stand against the wall for a few minutes. Why do you have the lights on while the trailers play??Id rather pay the extra, go to AMC and get the comfort and good guest service. Not coming back.Edit: Tried this afternoon. Seats are painfully small and no air was on! I got sick leaving, this place should not be in business!!!

This is a great theater to watch movies that have been in the theaters for awhile. Its much cheaper that regular theaters, so I can buy some treats. The furniture is outdated, but not too bad. Overall its clean.

Hidden in a business center right off the 57 in Brea. They remodeled a couple years back. Just wish they re did the seating. Very nice small showing rooms. Seats and parking fill up fast. Come early. They have a good selection of treats and fast service. Movies are pretty new too, and you really cant beat the price.

Old style seats . Four dollars great price , good air-conditioning. Unfortunately floors tend to be sticky . Food is okay maybe a bit cheaper than AMC . Usually clean restrooms , well supplied may depend on the weekday weekend crowd . Not visible from the street or the freeway . But the mall itself is. Plenty of parking around the theater in the mall . And huge parking structure in the rear .

Bad service was not even informed by phone or by the movie purchase window that they were sold out. Also being charged extra even though I had a rewards ticket from my insurance office AAA for the seats because they reclined. The movie we wanted to see was in another language Spanish asked the guy at purchase window is it in Spanish or subtitles he just answered I dont know its something new to him should be able to get information for questioned asked by customers I would not come to regal movie theaters

Great budget movie theater! Clean and well maintained. Ticket prices are nice, but the food and drinks are about the same price as regular movie theaters. Free drink refills on their Coke Freestyle machine is very cool!

Still okay. But prices went up. I was just there about a month ago... Now matinee is $4.95 and evening shot up to $6.95!They were showing Atomic Blonde... So they are current on that one. Maybe their business model changed to add one movie be current, rest are slightly older.Matinee pricing is now more attractive. I am thinking more people will start taking advantage of that. And hopefully they wont close down... They hopefully make it up in volume in matinee and food.

I was there yesterday for the first time I was impressed with how clean it was as well as really organized I happen to get a hot dog and all of the mustard and ketchup pickle relish and so forth was all like extremely neat and organized I was in theater number one to see the Orient Express actually I was surprised by how large the theater is I cant speak for the other four but it was very nice comfortable enough seats and great value at $4.95 great deal I will definitely try to come back here again if I happen to be in the Brea area. I should also add that the staff was nice.

While its a little on the small side with just 5 half screens, everything is very well maintained and top notch. As if they spared no expense in all their amenities loved it.

This is a really chill theatre.Waiting to see movies after they leave the big expensive theatres is fine by me.The theatre itself is nice as well. Everytime Ive been here its been clean and the staff have been friendly.They have a popcorn flavoring station. A couple all in one soda machine. Along with a small selection of beers.Ive been coming here for a couple years now and theyve not disappointed.

$3 matinee and $4 evening! The food prices are ok buy not as good as other dollar theaters. I will say the alcohol prices are pretty good though. There is no stadium seating in this theater. It has a good sound system and its clean.
