We stopped here only to smoke a cig on our way home & it was SO awesome, the sand dunes & all of the 4 wheelers & dirt bikes, etc! The wind was blowing the sand everywhere & it brought back good childhood memories.
So much fun!
Beautiful place! Wish I would have had a ride with me! Fun to be there and watch!
Bring your 4or and have fun
Head out to glamis for the vast miles of sand riding and bowls of all sizes....please remember to be careful, there are many others riding ,not just yourself...and take your trash to the dumpsters
Of all the off-road locations in CA, this is by far the best, BUT !!! IT IS THE WORST , WHEN IT COMES TO RANGERS, PURE UNADULTERATED ATTITUDE. Been coming hear for years, ALWAYS, NOTHING BUT ATTITUDE FROM ANY AND ALL RANGERS. Whoever is in charge of this station seriously needs to give and enforce some customer service and demeaner classes.Public Relations at this park has deteriorated so far, half my friends dont come hear anymore. SERIOUS PROBLEM, NEEDING SERIOUS ATTENTION !!!!!!!!
They have vault toilets. Better than nothing!
Total awesomeness!!
Cool place
A great place to hit the dunes, and check out all tje cool sand cars.
Really cool place to check out. Dont forget to bring a sled to slide down the dunes. Im planning to go for a pre-wedding shoot with my fiancé!
I think this is the best dunes in the states get you some
Always love Mother G. But just passing through on our move to AZ this time. Bathroom Stop.
Ive heard that General George Smith Patton Jr. trained his tank corps in the dune near here. Finally he succeeded to drive away General Rommel from North Africa. Now a lot of people enjoy driving dune buggys on the holidays.
I went to work out there for a Rich Hispanic that takes advance of people. But my experiences out there. I personally didnt like it its really windy out there. Sad blowing everywhere. Who wants to spend there Holidays there? What fun is that!! No thanks,
Best place for outdoor activities and sunset view
Weather was great, fresh light rains over night made it fun. An excellent place to ride off road in the dunes, only negative is the $35 weekly pass or $155 annual pass. Just shows BLM and Imperial County greed.
Fun but not for my jeep.
The best dunes in the United states..
Always a pleasure to go out riding in the dunes!!! If you are looking for some local recreation or something to do or see while passing through the Imperial Valley, Glamis is definitely something to see at least, if not experience!!
Nice Stop there to see the Sand dunes easy to find good photo spots with the Mountains in the Backround
Miles of dunes. Camping in RV or tent. Purchase passes at the Ranger Station. Gecko Road has been re-paved, nice ride in.No glass bottles! No pallets! Pack out what you bring. Recycle everything you can. For what you cant, there are dumpsters near the Ranger Station. Dont leave bags of trash at your campsite! There is no trash fairy. Dont drink and ride, and please dont litter.
One of the best places to have family fun
Took a ride with the family and the can am maverick max x3.Beautiful dunes, great riding, and a wonderful adventure.
Unless you are into dunes buggy activities, a waste of a side trip.
Its heaven on earth
Free camping weekend! Wooooooo!
Gotta love Glamis, where else can you ride dunes until your hearts content without ever hitting the same dunes twice! Sand drags and Olds hill are a must see if your visiting. Dont forget vendors row, great place to get parts for your ride, or souvenirs. Dont forget to hit up Daddys diner for awesome food!!! Cant wait until October.
Cool place. Better know what u are doing tho. Not for beginners
Awesome people and place.
Law Inforcement at its best
No place better for playing in the sand.

Got Sand?Yep, LOTS of sand. Lol.
Yup.. Sand Dunes & my X3...fun fun fun
One of the best experiences!!
Beautiful sand dunes near Salton Sea. Do remember to bring LOTS of water if you decide to visit in summer. Temperature can climb up to 130F+ during the day and remain around 90F during night time.
Amazing..
Didnt even get arrested...
Awesome Sandy Nature Display. Great stop on the way from San Diego to Phoenix.
Awesome . I drove a icecream truck in the Sand dune,s it was one of the happiest times of my life . I met people from all over the world . I had great fun and made excellent money excellent . Awesome fun . UNBELEAVEABLE
Everybody should drive a convertible there to enjoy the most beautiful wide view that you happen to see.
Going on 2 years! & every season I look forward to take the Fam! Amazing Sand Dunes!!!
One of the best places on the planet to ride the sand dunes
Watch out for the rangers they are intense
Great road improvement.
Packed but found a camp spot. Friend got new truck stuck right away..lol
One fun filled trip
Beautiful place-
Nice sand dunes, very basic bathroom
Couldnt ask for a better time
Very beautiful views of the dunes
The BLM is ruining Glamis with heavy handed tactics that are better served in a war zone. Not a place where families go to get away from the grind. BLM sucks.
They were helpful with directions
Love it here.... Cant wait for dune season.
Fun sandbox
Glamis baby!
Cant wait to go back!
Great food!!
A must see! Hot hot hot but amazing place
Had a great time.
Happiest place on Earth lol
Imperial Sand Dunes is the best place on earth
Fun in the sand
Great dunes, great people
Love going to the dunes
They typically are friendly. On holidays the get a little intrusive. Have your park pass, registrations, fire permit, no glass etc, cause theyll walk into your campsite and check it all.
Honestly no pictures can truely capture the beauty of this place.A must see.
Been coming here since the 80s, thing have sure changed. But the dunes are always worth the trip.
Always good times
