This is definitely one of the best park we have here in the South Shore. The park is huge that it is not crowded and yet it is well maintained. It is great for beginners and for families at all ages. There’s so many trails to choose from.

Pond Meadow Park is such an amazing park and I was stunned at how beautiful it was. They really do such a good job at keeping it pretty clean for such a spacious land management area. This place is my new go to for my nature hikes and meditation getaways. I added many new pictures for my inaturalist app sponsored by National Geographic. With the amount of people today I still managed to find a secluded area to meditate and listen to the birds.

Fun place to explore. Stick to the pavement path or go off onto different trails. Most trails have areas of boardwalks. So many turtles in pond to see! Picnic areas and benches to sit along the way. Will definitely return!

Beautiful park to go walking, biking, picnicking or paddling. A non-motorized boat launch for kayaks and canoes is located at the end of the entrance road by the dam.

Paved trails, unpaved trails in the woods, large pond and, as the name says, a meadow. Popular, but not crowded because its so large. We went on a sunny weekday morning and saw dozens of people, but never for long. Ready access of the express way.

Beautiful, clear trail to walk if you want to get a quick workout in. Also really nice woodland trails to hike. Great place to bring dogs that have a higher endurance. My only complaint is that a good 70% of people that go to this trail do not wear masks even though the park states to social distance and wear your mask. No complaint of the park, just complaint of the ignorant people who think the pandemic doesnt exist.

Really easy walk through paved trail. Some places without shade so it can get hot if you go closer to noon. Lots of picnic tables. Parking lot was close to full when we got there at 7:30 am but other parking can be found. More parking inside when the gates open.

This park is a great place to walk. The loop is paved. We walked it today and the path was nice and dry; the woods was wet on the side of the path but we walked happily on the pavement. Not sure of how long the route around is, but it is ample for a good walk.Park outside the gate if going during the later part of the day because they do close/lock the gate at 5:00pm. We parked outside the gate and were happy about that because we walked until 5:15.

Great place for a scenic walkPond Meadow Park is a great place for a scenic walk. There is a 2.6 mile newly paved walking (and biking) trail around the pond as well as some non-paved woods trails. There are picnic tables and benches to rest on throughout the park. Its a great place with lots of up and down to walk and ride bikes. Parking is free and its a dog friendly.

Ive been going to this park since I was a kid and have always loved it. It has a ton of birds and other wildlife. The pond is very scenic and the whole walk is pretty. There are quite a few hills, which I also enjoy. Many unpaged trails to explore in addition to the main loop as well. I am now bringing my own kids so they can enjoy the rocks and the pond and the many opportunities to explore.

Im only giving the park a two because of the people who go there. It is a gorgeous park and worth the trip, but 9 put 10 people I saw werent wearing masks, and were often talking in small groups. When I asked a few about masks, they said they didnt bother bringing one at all. So while the park is amazing, it is the ignorance of its regulars, that I would avoid.

It’s a nice park with 1.6 mile round, you may walk, run, do cycling or take your dog. Nice lake remains dirty most of the time though. During summer ranger puts paid flower, plant that you can buy. He can be more specific about where to put/pay money because he is not there all the time.

BEAUTIFUL PARK BUT THERE ARE ‘NO’ TRASH BARRELS ANYWHERE! Such a shame. There are food containers, straws, dog waste bags, plastic bottles littered throughout the trails. The sad part is a lot of this trash ends up at the waters edge where the geese, ducks, swan and turtles can get into all of it. Why aren’t there receptacles?

Weve been going to Pond Meadow park for about 10 years. It is not huge, but it is lovely, especially for families. There is a paved, hilly path that goes all the way around. You can access from either the Weymouth side or the Braintree side. Theyve repaved some of the sections which is nice but they havent relined it yet. One side is for walkers and one side is for bicycles. Great for strollers!

I have been here thousands of times and find more new things every time the park is beautiful, there are so many beautiful plants and animals in the area. There are some amazing fishing spots and the water is clean for the area around Braintree. The camp is amazing and the counselors are some of the best. There are many events here like the pumpkin fest and a few Christmas events which produce money for the park. There is abundant bathrooms and many parking places. The park is ran by The Friends of Pond Meadow Park and they are all incredible and maintain the park and host the events, i assist in the events and it pays enough just to see the happy looks on peoples faces. The town halls want to put in a dog park where what is known as the cricket field, I feel we need to oppose this as it is supposed to be a nature reserve and this would greatly disrupt the natural environment and it would be a waste since the entire park is open to dogs.
