Great free fun for kids. Bring some chairs if you want to grab a spot in the shade. There are benches, but all in direct sun. Splash park is fenced in and has a small staff seated outside mainly to enforce the no drinks or bags policy. It is huge compared to other splash parks in the area. Playground is a good size and seems to have plenty to keep the kids entertained once they need to dry off. Expect to find an ice cream truck in attendance. All in all a very good time.

Great park for sprinklers and playground. Its good to come early to find a nice spot under a tree which are few and also to find a parking along the fence of the park if not you have to park in the lot which is a short walk away. The sprinklers all work and the water is nice and cold! Highly recommend this park for family outing or even a small birthday.

The place is great for the kids. I love the fact that they have a staff watching the kids. One thing I would recommend is to put some shade and seating area near the splash for the parents with babies to seat and watch the bigger kids. I was burning my back and had to leave soon because of no shade near the splash and I was not going to seat far away from the boys. But other then that I love it.

Free and usually plenty of parking. Benches around outside where parents wont get wet. Also a cute playground and porty potties. Hey better than nothing. can easily spend 3-4 hrs here and pack a lunch but bring a blanket and try to find a spot under a tree on hot summer days. Also a baseball field. Wear shoes walking outside of splash pad cause I did see allot of glass near baseball field.

Splash pad is really fun for the kids, there is a playground too. Open fields to sit under a tree and enjoy lunch or snacks. There are 2 life guards that sit at the splash pad as well. For bathrooms though there are only those port a potties.

Not a big one. Still kids enjoy a lot. Can spend 3-4 hours quiet easily...Roadside parking and operates till 6 PM everyday....Entry free for all...

Its a nice quite park! I had my daughters birthday there. unfortunately the spray pad wasnt on but the playground was still nice. its on a quite street and it wasnt crowded at all. there was a baseball game that was ending when we got there but even then it wasnt to packed. its also a nice place to let your dog run around.

This splash pad is SO COOL. I only wish they had them when I was a kid. I went during a weekday, and just parked on street (although Im not a Braintree resident). The park was fenced in, which corralled my toddler perfectly. This spot is perfect for kids from just barely walking through elementary school. Some of the older kids were running wild without supervision (which meant I needed to look after my littler one closely) but thats standard at any playground. With littler kids, its worth noting theres no changing pad, so I wound up changing my daughter on the grass. For an older kid, just arrive in swim suits. Also, the only restrooms are port-a-potties, which are again hard with a tiny kiddo.

This community is wonderful! The kids are great, as are the parents. I took my sister here (shes 30) with her walker, she has cerebral palsy. The kids were curious and kind, and as soon as they understood her legs wont get better, they all took turns showing my sister their favorite parts and helping her with them. All the parents here should be so proud of their kids!

The main attraction here is the splash pad. Its well kept, interactive and theres even 3 staff members working it. The playground is well kept but very simple and the swings are hard to get on by yourself. Portable toilets are pretty clean considering what i have seen in others. Theres plenty of field and trees to have a picnic under, benches but not many picnic tables. Would be great to add a basket ball court right next to play grounds! Probably best for ages 2 to 8 years old.. oooh and the ice cream truck never leaves!

Love this park! The Watson playground and make sure you walk the path that leads to Smith beach. Dont go on the weekends or when there is sports practice as parking spots might be very limited.

The park itself is great, plenty for kids to do and the quality is high. However, the issue is with the employees and the lack of parental supervision. In the 45 minutes we were just here, we saw an older kid collide with a toddler who slammed their head into a feature, 2 kids swearing at each other, 3 kids stuffing trash down a drain, and a whole host of toys and such being tossed around. Meanwhile the 2 Parks & Rec employees just sat there with their eyes on their phones, even when these things were brought to their attention. I think the town could save some money if they just got someone to open and close the gate and just threw a Purge sign up.

Every summer we go there is clean, fun, and free a perfect spot to get wet during hot days.

Great place for the kids to enjoy and play! I love that the water sprinklers is gated in so you dont have to worry about your little ones running out or getting away too far! Kids love the park and sand box is a plus!

Great local hidden gem! Open during the summer season with a lifeguard on duty (lol) right near a couple ball fields, playground, and small beach but its only suitable for swimming to dogs. Lots of street parking if youre not so lazy you cant walk 3 minutes.

The park is kid friendly, secure and fun, my granddaughter had a great time and I cant wait to go there with her again. She is 1 and a half she already met a friend there name Riley and looking forward to seeing her again

Kids enjoyed at their best

This is a great asset for the Braintree, Weymouth and Quincy area. It is in Braintree but is open to non-residents. It is FREE and open from memorial day weekend to Labor day weekend. There are 3 Porta-potties that are well maintained. The handicapped one is big enough to change in. The is a playground with current play-sructures adjacent to the splash pad. There is plenty or room to picnic under a shady tree or there are some picnic tables. No grills but I have seen some groups with the portable ones and no one seemed to care. Its a great place to cool off for toddlers as well as older kids. The ice cream truck frequents this location.The only small issue is parking. Many people park along the street leading to the splash pad. The locals arent thrilled about this but I havent seen any one get towed or get a ticket. There are signs for parking a little further down the street at a lot that is accessible to the splash pad by a walking trail. You can also park in the lot by the baseball field and walk across the field to the splash pad. This is legal but it gets filled up when there is a game.

Great splash pad w/ a great park. There are a few shade trees around. The downfall is that if youre not a Braintree resident they make you park away from the splash pad.

My twins that are almost 3 enjoyed playing there. Theres also a playground there. I plan to go back and make it an allday event. ♡♡♡

Cute place too bad the 2 teenagers that sit at the gate ignore you & dont even acknowledge you when you get there or tell you the rules of the place. They instead do their homework & play on their phones the whole time. God forbid there was an accident they wouldnt even see it happen yet the girl says shes there specifically for that. HA!! Theres a sign that says no bags in the splash pad area so I thought I couldnt go in w/ my daughter the whole time. Do you think one of them wouldve opened their mouth to tell me I COULD go in as long as I hang my bag on the fence?? Nope of course not cause they dont care about you. The town is wasting their money paying these kids cause they are not doing their job WHATSOEVER. I mean how are you supposed to know what to do if youve never been there? It was our first time & we wont be back! The only reason I finally found out that you actually COULD bring your bag IN was because when we were leaving, another lady brought hers in so I spoke up & asked the girl at the gate why she was able to bring in a bag if the sign says no bags allowed in & she says with an attitude that you CAN bring bags in as long as you hang it up & You shouldve asked BUT THE SIGN SAYS NO BAGS IN THE SPLASH AREA SO WHY WOULD I ASK?? If she was doing her job she should have spoke to me when I was letting my daughter in the gate. Im sorry but you need to talk to people & acknowledge them when they get there & find out if its their 1st time or whatever so these things dont happen. Rude, unsocialable, immature kids running the place & its an embarrassment. Wait, I cant even say run the place cause they do absolutely nothing for that place!! Unbelievable! Get some people in their that will actually speak to visitors when they arrive! GOSH!!!

Ive always brought my kids into to Boston for day trips and the splash pad out there was one of our stops, but going into Boston for just the splash pad would be a project. So I ended up hearing of this one in Braintree. I figured it would be small and not worth it since its fairly hidden and in a town. I was quite suprised when we got there that the splash pad is a fairly decent sized area. The kids loved it and I had children all different ages. Two toddler boys ages 1 and 2 and then two girls aged 7. They all had a great time running around in the open field area, the playground and splash pad. Theres an icecream truck too that basically sits down there so they were able to get an icecream. I went around 4pm figuring that it wouldnt be as packed at that time. It was pretty busy, but it wasnt bad. Im glad I brought them and it wasnt what I expected. Now theres a place not to far of a drive I can bring the kids to where they can get their energy out on a hot day.
