What a beautiful place! I resided with my girlfriend and her family here after the 4th of July and everything was amazing. The view the property, they have an excellent game room. They have it all, an outdoor pool which is a very nice size, and if the weather doesnt cooperate they have a wonderful indoor aquatic center as well. They have everything you need for a perfect getaway from your everyday life to an enjoy life and relax kinda vacation. The staff are very professional kind and easy to talk too. I will be going back again and again!

This is a nice place with clean cabins but it could use some updates and work on the grounds. The beach is not well kept with weeds and the swimming area is not a sand bottom, it has rocks that hurt! The tennis court has trees growing in the fence. The basketball hoop is broken and unusable. Free kayaks and paddle boards were nice to enjoy. No fire pits was a bummer. The lake is great, caught some nice fish. The staff is friendly. Just some overall updates would go a long way and a little clean up of the grounds would help my overall rating.

Small family friendly resort. Great place for families with kids. The beach is rocky but just keeps kids swimming. Great sunsets.

Great place lots of activity the only downfall trees needed trimmed back all around the area .

We had friends staying here and we stopped by for a visit a couple days in a row. This is a great little resort with nice cabins a little beach, boats for rental a indoors and outdoors pool. A nice game room. Our friends rented the big 5 bedroom 4 bathroom cabin and its really nice place we enjoyed the place. I would recommend it.

Good place to go but it doesnt have fire pits and there is also an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub

Beautiful property and updated cabins are very nice. Could use some more updates throughout like newer tvs and a better wireless internet system.

Wedding weekend!

No dogs, no campfires, and absolutely no room to park a trailer. I feel like Im still in the cities

We met up with friends and shared a 2 bedroom cabin. We had a great time, boating on the lake and swimming at the 2 pools. An indoor pool was a highlight on the one rainy, windy day we endured! The rec room was also a highlight for the kids. I found the office staff to be very friendly and accomdating and the overall ambience to be rustic and charming. While it is not the Hilton, one would not expect it to be, it is truly a cabin and we loved it. We have already made plans to back next year !!!

Come every year mom and pop atmosphere well kept cabins. Cant beat lake life. Even if its just a week

This place is a great place for a family get away or vacation the workers are so friendly and very helpfull here they try to make your stay as great as possible the rooms are clean and very well taken care of and very roomy the cabins and challets are awesome right on the water of gull lake they offer boat rentals on nice boats or you can take a kayak or row boat or paddle board out for free they have 2 pools one indoor and spa a sauna and a beach on the lake this place has everything youll want or need in a resort they also have a really cool game room if your looking at visiting Minnesota give them a call you will not be disappointed. My kids love it here and never want to leave.

Too bad they closed early this year.

Well organized great place to take a kid fishing (ask about the hayfield on the west side of the lake). Boat #8 leaks and sheets are beyond threadbare.

This resort worked extremely well for our group of 47. Being able to rent the get-together room for the week was fantastic! We were glad to have this air-conditioned room with its kitchen and tables plus chairs available for visiting, meals, games, and the sharing of family history photos. We appreciated having the outside picnic tables and grills, plus it was convenient to have the play equipment near this area for the little ones.This resort has a nice variety of rooms, cabins, and condos (some with great views of the lake). Each group in our party could rent the unit that worked best for them. Some of the units are simple (which was good for people on a budget) but all the units were clean. All the units have a kitchen, which worked well for us. (We like to have people provide their own food for breakfast and lunch plus their own beverages. Then we like to all gather together in the evening for dinner.) The resort is small enough that it was an easy walk between these units and the get-together room.Our group had a great time on the pontoon we rented for the week, plus we enjoyed using the complimentary canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. (Some people did need to use Benadryl for swimmers itch and learned to avoid getting in the water near the shore.) The non-fishing group using the pontoon enjoyed going out to the sandbar area to play in the water. The fishing group only caught small fish which they released, but they had a good time. Several people enjoyed using the bike trail nearby, and we all enjoyed the beautiful sunsets.Sue and Dan and their family plus the staff are very nice and were very responsive to our needs both during the planning for this reservation and during our stay. We made our reservation about a year in advance to be able to find room for our large group. Sue was helpful in letting us know what week would probably be available. She also was helpful in letting us know what cooking equipment, etc. was available and what wed need to provide.We always have some members of our family who cant join us for the whole week, so it was very important to have this resorts reasonable daily rate for those in our party who stayed in a motel nearby for a few nights in the cute little town of Nisswa.This was the eleventh family reunion for our large group since 1985. Weve stayed at a variety of places all over the United States, and it seems like this resort met our needs better than any of the other places weve stayed. Its not a fancy place, but thats not what we were looking for. This reasonably priced resort had all the amenities we needed for a great family reunion!
