Great course, but after multiple terrible experiences with one of the guys who work there....I will never be back. The pace of play here is always really slow. I dared to tell the manager and suggested they hire a ranger, and he flipped out, called me a liar, told me my expectations were too high, and simply displayed a complete lack of customer service. As I was walking out angry, another group came in and I heard them tell him the same thing....pace of play was unacceptable. That’s not the first time I’ve suggested to them that they space out tee times better and consider a ranger. It’s also not the first time I’ve had issues with that one guy. He’s rude not just to the guests but to the other employees. He has single handedly ruined my opinion of this course and has me hesitant to give the other courses in the area that are owned and managed by the same group a try.

- Probably best bang for your buck course near Toledo.- great conditions, fast greens, long fairways, quality thick rough, cement cart path, 4 Tee boxes & friendly staff.- Pace of play is great!

This place was a joke. No putting practice with holes. Back nine to many gimmick holes. Blind shots abundant. Hit a pitching wedge and 7 iron on par 4. Would never go back unfortunately. Bright spot people were friendly. Club house average at best.. should only play front nine and leave.

Well maintained course with very friendly staff that is always will to help.Its great for a beginner such as myself with no fear of hitting houses/windows.

Great little course that will challenge all levels and force a player to keep it real solid on the consistent greens and tight fairways..I shot 89 with two birdies and snowman..we had a blast..

Poor management. Had an outing before us and jammed tee times in after it because of greed. Paid for 18 and only got in 9 because 4x 4-somes were stacked up at 10.

Where to start... First off they do not have a driving range. On top of that the practice green did not have any holes in it. What’s the point?? Next they didn’t tell us about the scramble who tee’d off right before us. It took almost 3 hours to play 9 holes. The greens were in good shape, but the fairways were dead and patchy. And finally, our golf cart completely died on the 12th hole. They did offer to bring another cart out, but we were tired of the experience. This place is not worth the $41 price tag they charge you to play a round of golf. I suggest going to Maumee Bay, Eagles Landing, or the Legacy for a much better experience.

Course was in poor shape, charged 36 dollars to play an average course with no starter. Had 6 groups backed up waiting to tee off from the 8th hole on. Will never play there again.

Great public golf course.

The course was in very good condition considering the amount of rain this season. The fairways were in good condition, some tee boxes needed healing, and the greens were in excellent condition. The weekday price is good.

Riverby Hills Golf Club is always a great place to golf. Theyre known for having many golf outings and they have a hall on premises to offer groups parties or lunch after your outings. Friendly staff offer quick service. There is also a restaurant inside the clubhouse.

The hills and layout are unlike any other public course in the area. Very fun to play! The fairways werent in the best shape but the greens were in EXCELLENT shape!

The staff I interacted with (woman in the snack shop and the ranger) were very friendly and did angreat job and are the reason for the Stars given. The courses itself is in poor shape, while Im not expecting a perfect course this one is far from the price paid for. Roughs that are far too long and when cut the clippings are left (from multiple cuts) and makes it even harder to find a ball. The tee boxes were tore up and the fairways bad a number of tore up spots. The greens were in good shape and I had no issues there. Better courses for your money in the area to play at.

Enjoyable country golf course. Rolling terrain, fun layout for every skill level. Driving range, plus chipping & putting greens.

This is definitely a nice place for some casual driving time. I like how the range is set up with some flags on hills for different ranged shots. It helps with working on my approach, a lot. Good people run this place. Very accommodating..

Layout is great but the conditions are unacceptable. Looks like new owner are trying to go cheap and it’s a shame because I do like the course. At least have the decency to tell people your greens are shot before charging us full price.

I visited Riverby last Wed, the weather was perfect, the course was perfect, and it was a perfect night of golf.We played off the back 9 which proved to be a pretty challenging setup with water on just about every hole.The fairways and greens were in pristine shape - the cart girl also made it around a couple times which is always a plus because I got to have my beer!All around a wonderful experience and one of my favorite rounds of this year.

Nice course in great condition. Most courses give senior discount at 55 years old. Riverby is 65. $36.00 with cart is just okay a little more then others. But overall worth the money. Club house and bar people are super friendly.

On a Tuesday afternoon at 12 pm and no one teeing off for hours behind us, the golf shop clerk tried to charge my boyfriend $12 so I could simply ride along. If this was a premiere golf course I could possibly understand this. But as a public course, on a weekday, this seems very unnecessary. Also the golf shop clerk was very rude about it.

We were followed by an attendant for half of our game. And interrupted several times. Poor choice for a place to golf considering better offerings near by. Will not be coming back!

Staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. Course is well maintained. Staff tries their best to assure golfers have a good experience.

Nice course not far from Toledo...worth the drive.

Usually come here a few times a week. After today i wont be back. Our party was patiently waiting at each hole 10-15 minutes for the party in front of us. The ranger came to us to tell us to hurry because the people behind us were waiting at every hole. (As were we.) We played faster by hitting while the people in front were still playing the same hole. Eventually the people in front of us felt uncomfortable because we were not letting them finish. (They felt rushed, like us.) Staff still blamed us. We ended up quiting half way through because we felt very uncomfortable. Staff should check and see we were waiting too just like everyone else before blaming us.

Tee areas were a mess - nothing but dirt. Both the greens and the fairways were full of bare spots. Great layout, but it needs some upkeep and TLC.
