Great intimate venue. There are no bad seats. You are up close and personal with the band. Durand Jones and the Indications were . Truly talented and amazing!!! Wow! My mind was blown with the whole concert experience from the venue, parking, staff and especially the band. This is how concerts are meant to be!! Cant wait to go back to the Fox!

600 capacity, intimate black-box style theater with phenomenal acoustics in a quaint college bubble town. Parking was ample and free on side streets. Well-priced and stocked bar, better service. Come to see your favorite new artist on the rise in near perfect digs. Stay up!

There are few actual seats in this venue, but it is very well designed for enjoying a concert while standing: there are three different floor levels, and there is hardly a bad view or sonic space in the house. The multiple levels result in a number of fences which are comfortable to lean forward against. There is narrow, raised bench seating against most of the outermost wall. The place is a bit run down. Overall, an excellent place for music.

The Fox Theater has incredible sound and feels like listening to a band from your living room. I highly recommend any show here.If they offer the VIP Balcony area, you wont regret spending the extra dollars on it. The views are the best.

I have enjoyed shows at the Fox for more than 20 years but have had very little interaction with the staff until last night. My girlfriend and I were enjoying a show when she felt a little light-headed. Before we could get out of the crowd she fainted, came to, and fainted again. The folks around us helped get her to the ground without additional injury and before we could formulate an exit strategy several Fox staff members helped us to a waiting chair outside. They gave us water and juice to make sure hydration wasnt an issue. I commend the staff ( I wish I could remember their names) on their fast and professional response. They even offered re-entry once we had recovered. Well done Fox and crew!!

Great small venue for live music. Its mainly standing room with a couple high bars to sit at. So great if your band will keep you dancing all night, but if it is real mellow music come early and claim your self a seat.

This venue is a dream come true for short people. I saw Watsky here which was perfect. The show felt very intimate and I was able to see from multiple areas in the venue. I was very happy with the sound and everything. One of the better shows Ive been to, and I know the venue had a lot to do with it.

Incredibly disappointed in the Fox Theater, I used to be a fan of this venue until at the most recent concert I attended there, I had a terrible time and dont plan on returning until some extensive staff changes are made. I was enjoying the show until out of nowhere, one of their staff members decided to kick out one of the people in my group for being too drunk when they were not only entirely, sober, but had not even done anything to remotely express any sort of intoxication. Upon asking the staff why that was necessary, they decided to kick me out as well, simply for asking the question. Not only is this blatant and unfounded profiling extremely unprofessional, but it shows a complete power trip and lack of restraint by staff that has, as evidenced by many other reviews here, ruined the experience and taken the money of many other concert-goers. I dont plan on ever attending here again because of this outrageous customer service and I recommend that you dont take the risk spending your money here either.

The staff was very accommodating. We needed ADA seating, they took us in early and had chairs for us - usually it’s standing room only. I would suggest that there be better lighting on the stairs from the floor to the lobby and to be sure the hand railing is tightened - almost had a slip & fall incident.

Where to begin with this historic space! Its the epitome of what a small theater should be. Deceptively intimate and cozy, it feels huge at the same time as making you feel like youre 5 feet away from the band. The light rig, the sound system, the stage, the entrance, the side bars, the main bar, the mezzanine... It all works and flows neatly where even a packed show doesnt get too claustrophobic and the sound and visual spectacle are fantastic from everywhere in the room. The shows are generally fairly priced, and the booze is affordable (for a theater!). Ive been both a spectator and a performer, and the latter was such a wonderful experience. The staff are true professionals and seem very well coordinated. They were encouraging and kind and despite our small status they made us feel welcomed and wanted. This is one of the best venues Ive ever experienced anywhere in the world. 6/5 stars.

I can not believe how rude the staff is here. From the moment my date and I entered the theater we were treated like unwanted necessities! Any question was met with snide remarks and contemptuous looks. We decided not to get a beer because they made us feel as though we would be committing a crime if we did. At one point even, Security questioned us as though we were criminals! There was no reason or excuse for this attitude and behavior. In fact, it completely ruined the show for us as the staff hovered around us as though we were going to shoot someone or something crazy. I’ve never been made to feel so judged and discriminated against. We finally left before the show was even over because my date felt so uncomfortable. Please don’t allow staff to treat you this way! Unless there is warranted reasons for being questioned and interrogated; no one should be harassed in this unfair manner!

Im a little late with this review...Last Nov my husband & I went to see Ozomatli (one of my very favorite bands). We had been to the Fox many, many times in the past so we knew that seating was rather limited. I e-mailed the Fox letting them know that my husband is handicapped and would not be able to stand throughout the show. I recieved an e-mail back from Daniel Mullan letting me know that they would be able to accomodate us. Once we got to the theater and once the staff knew who we were, we were treated like royality!! Not only were we led to a table reserved just for us, but Daniel came over to make sure we were happy. All the staff made sure that we were satisfied. My husband & I were extremely impressed!!! And what a great show!! Thank you Daniel and the staff at Fox Theater for making our night special!! Oh yeah, we were also celebrating our anniversary. What a way to celebrate!!!!

I am trying to be nice about this- I initially gave this one star then changed it to two and have been very generous in giving it three but this is a big warning message please read! Be very careful of the vodka, I have bartended for 20 years and had every kind of vodka tasted under the sun- the venue is nice and music was great, staff was errr grumpy and seemed to hate being there at best. But I had a horrible reaction to the vodka, along with two other friends (we all broke out into hives the following day) but I had the worst reaction even tho I only had two drinks during the whole concert, but I broke out in hives head to toe and had to go to the hospital the next day and receive an epi shot- along with many other medications.... never been allergic to ANYTHING in my life, doctors said it was very clearly an alcohol allergy and One of the dermatologists said it was absolutely a vodka allergy and due to either high sulfites (meaning the vodka wasn’t prepared correctly/aged properly or distilled right from the factory) or it was cheap vodka that was sprayed with chemicals. Either way I know it’s more on the vodka company then the venue- but they need to be aware that the batch of vodka from the zz ward concert is a major health hazard- I hope they will contact the distributors or wherever they bought the Vodka- I was surprised when I saw the bartender pour the drink because I didn’t even recognize the brand and thought that very odd as I have bartended all over the country for 20 years and use to do tastings for many different distributors. I get wanting to make a buck but I hope this was just a mishap of ordering and not a conscious decision (I can’t imagine anyone wanting to make a buck that bad) to buy such cheap harmful alcohol. But again great music and cute venue- the staff seems like they hate their jobs and that’s a shame lol but I had a great time regardless until I was laying in the hospital bed the next day haha.... again I’m not solely blaming the venue- but it is extremely concerning- and at 7$ a drink unknown cheap vodka could probably be bumped at least to something recognizable- heck I don’t care if it’s Popov or some other super cheap thing, but whatever you have ordered (not sure the name as again I have NEVER seen that brand or label before which should have been a warning for me I guess?) needs to be sent back- because if I didn’t go to hospital when I did I would have gone into shock from the allergic reaction- could have killed someone. Scary- seriously! :( but again I know NO one that works behind a bar would want to knowingly serve a bad batch of booze to any of their customers no matter how much they hated their job lol... but I do hope the management contacts their distributor and lets them know something is very very wrong.... before something horrible to someone not as nice as me has another reaction. I did hear the hospital had a few cases of hives come in- but I’m not sure if they went to the fox theatre or a different place and or even drank the same vodka. Whole thing has been insane to say the least- but I still think the venue is fun and intimate. But maybe some staff upgrades and a switch to literally any other vodka than what they are using haha would be GREAT! Lol

I went to Brownies and Lemonade here, and it was awesome! The theatre has plenty of places to stand and to sit, and although it is fairly small, that just means you get a better view of the artists. The lights seem to be top notch, and the place is fairly well laid out, so whether youre a wallflower or want to be in the front row, you can be fairly comfortable. I would absolutely go to another event here, and would totally recommend it to others.

When the Fox has a good slate of shows booked its wonderful. Ive seen some slumps in booking during my time as a show goer. Decent sound from the PA. Check out the Schedule!

Fox is great, intimate venue! Although its only one level (no balcony), the standing area is tiered and theres bench seating throughout. There were two bars open with no lines and a decent selection. The sound was great as well. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because it was absolutely freezing inside...even the performers mentioned it on stage. Granted, it was the dead of winter and was snowing outside...but I couldnt take my jacket off and my feet were ice cubes...juss sayin.
