Its your neighborhood nature getaway if you have kids on strollers, wheels or simply your kiddos are too cool to walk with you for a long time. It is a short, flat easy trail. With a getaway to a running stream of water that mesmerizes your eyes and sings in your ears. Unfortunately its too close to the busy city noise pollution so dont expect the full nature experience. Cannot meditate or get your mind together if you need P&Q.... Oh and pack some bread for dukes .I know you are not supposed to feed the wild life but they EXPECT it.. will fly towards you as soon as you get close to the pond and then you will feel embarrassed if you are empty handed like us...

This isnt so much a review of the trail as it is a review of the Google maps directions to the trail. Google sent me to a parking lot that is closed. There are chains up blocking the entrance to the parking lot. There are signs posted that say private property, no trespassing, violators will be prosecuted. Theres nowhere to park that I can find for North Creek trail. Since Im unable to get to the trail I cannot give it more than one star.

Nice place to go for a walk. Youre mostly walking between a slough (with plenty of nesting birds) and office parks. If you work in the area or are into birds, its a good hour long break.

Kids friendly urban trail! Easy access and nice paved path for bikes. One less star because it’s not very well marked especially at places where it crosses across the streets.

*My dog Sam and I started the trail in McCollum Park in the North*And we loved every minute of it. Beautiful nature walk / hike and there were apartment buildings within site for most of the first 4-ish miles. That might not sound too appealing to true nature lovers, but they were not low income sleaze motels, they were clean, well kept and aesthetic. We were hiking on a Sunday and it seemed like everyone was doing laundry so we could smell their drier exhaust and the smell of clean laundry and fabric softener wafted pleasantly. We walked to the sidewalk trail connecting or I forgot what it was called, them walked back to the parking lot. Next time well bring the bike and go at more of a trot. I would highly recommend this trail to anyone who wants a leisurely stroll, brisk walk or run. Very nice and well maintained. If you decide to eat at any of the picnic tables, be aware that the squirrels are pretty hardcore and dont scare easily. They came within 2 feet of me and my well behaved Jack Russell Terrier.

Little creek great diving spots for those dock diving dogs, or just keeping them healthy like a swim spa for dogs. R.I.P. George. We have 2 other dogs/lol kids

Not as many trees but definitely trees ahead on connecting trails! This is a beautiful walking path which connects to a nature preserve. It also connects to Main Street in Mill Creek where there are lots of great shops, cafes, restaurants and municipal offices. What a fun place to live!

Well maintained urban trail that hugs the North Creek and the back of various business park building parking lots. Good for biking and small children. Note that a portion of the trail does function as a de facto sidewalk for 27th Ave SE.

Im giving this area the benefit of the doubt. I took my dog here (3/12/18) and the trails were not well maintained, my dog actually picked up a huge thorn in her paw which I got out, but shes still limping. Maybe well try again after city crews have the time to clear the trails but I kinda doubt that will even happen.
