Seriously my favorite theater in Washington. Small but so cozy and service is always so great. They bring you your food/drink order... amazing tater tots with a nice alcohol beverage to chug it down. If I remember correctly their movie selection is usually two movies to choose from (usually the most anticipated ones) and when I lived in Bothell 2017-2020 the prices of tickets were 7 bucks... basically half of what you would pay else where but you get way better service, food, drinks, and people ( I love the people in Bothell, amazing community). To make things better, they are right next to their bar, small hotel, outdoor heated pool, and during summer this place is always thriving with happy people enjoying life.

Really loved the character of this place. It was a busy 3rd of July evening, even with quarantine, so we had to wait for a table for quite some time, but it was totally worth it! Great burgers, fries, and the casian tots are some of the best Ive ever had. The service was great and drinks were too. We absolutely adore the bonfires! Great places for groups to hang out as well!

Not a real review: we werent actually in the regular restaurant. We went up for the Thanksgiving buffet and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A huge room full of families and their friends enjoying a really nice buffet. Everything was warm, if not piping hot and no apathetic steam-table vegetables.The wait staff were cheery and helpful, the salmon particularly good, and the care put into my vegetarian field roast impressive. Pretty much perfect Thanksgiving.

THIS IS THE GREATEST THEATER EVER!! You can buy food and alcohol and they bring it to your seat. It is a little pricey, but the food is good. Nice screen and good choice of movies. We saw Aladdin right after it was released.

First time here. A little confusing walking around the buildings. Staff had open doors with full view of working spaces while guests were walking around. That really takes away from the ambiance of any hospitality business. Parking is limited. Food served at the function was just okay, nothing to write home about. The soups displayed were not appetizing looking or clearly marked leaving guests guessing what they were about to eat.

Great throwback theater with lots of space, great food and excellent sound and projector. Beats iPic hands down on quality. Just not a huge variety of movie choices.

The food is good, the people are super nice. However, the place is a little creepy. People roam around the courtyard like fenced cattle and, the staff has the ability to manifest as if from nowhere, leaving you with a shock of fear at all times.The tater tots are amazing.

OK, wow. Amazing campus of experiences. Went there to celebrate a birthday at the whiskey bar and then watch Captain Marvel. Everything there was thoughtfully baked into a rich, warm experience. Had the Ruben at the theater which was so good (and included their signature tots). Will be going back soon I hope.

Its a decent theater as long as its not packed.The seats are only half stadium, the other half is all flat on the floor up front, not ideal for comfortable viewing.Nearly every seat (less those in front of a wooden bar) had a portable plastic tray in the cup holder, which ends up directly above your knees/legs - ** caution if you have it full of stuff, you may very likely dump everything on the floor ** - it also makes the standard seating more compact.The audio is decent, but there are two GIANT frame glass posters on the left and right off the wall, which reflect the screen and make for a slightly nauseating viewing.Lastly, like some old(er) theaters, it does NOT have a safe exit from each side of the row (in an emergency) or to avoid having to slip in between people to get to the left side of seats. There is NO exit on the left side of the seating.

This is our go-to in Bothell, mostly for the atmosphere. If you havent been, come and sit by an outdoor fire, rain or shine, and enjoy the amazing gardens, live music and abundant whiskey and beer options. Id rate it a five, but the food is and always has been fairly boring. Not bad, just uninspired. We do like the new Southwest options on the menu though.

Very Eclectic property with lots of fun nooks and crannies to tuck away in. Fun bars, pool, shuffleboard, pin ball. Good food, great drinks, hotel rooms on the larger side and each one unique. A fun wedding venue and weekend away!

McMenamins does it again! The Anderson School location had so many great things to do, especially the movie theater. This is a fairly small theater, but you can order full meals and alcoholic beverages to enjoy during the movie. You can never go wrong with the Cajun tots with the amazing ranch! Three alcoholic beverage selection includes local breweries in top of McMenamins own, all on tap. We went to see Dr. Sleep. There were only a handful of people in the theater so we got to choose the best seats! During the previews, the server brought our food. I ordered the Baja bowl and my husband ordered the Scooby snacks. Both were very large portions! Plenty to take home as leftovers. I highly recommend this theater.

I saw Star Wars on opening night, at the 7 pm showing. The line started forging at 5:30. The place was crowded, as expected for a movie of this caliber, but getting to our seats was quick. Getting to the front of the line to order food took a while, however.The food was tasty, and arrived quickly, but I was at the front of the food line. The beer was good (Kris Kringle) but was served in very small portions.In the theater: The speakers were good, but the sound proofing was not. There were several corporate parties going on in the McMenamins complex, and we could hear them during the quieter moments of the film. In the midst of a heroic sacrifice moment, the soulful sounds of Robin Thickes Blurred Lines were clearly audible.During the second half of the movie, it seemed like almost everyone dropped their dishes, shattering their glasses and plates.I went here so I could watch a movie. Its nice to be able to have a beer while watching a great movie, but next time, Im going to the Regal at Northgate. Dropped popcorn barely makes a noise, and Im a lot less likely to hear gonna tear your ass in two during an emotionally tense scene.

Very fun decor. Only $9 a movie. Super cozy. The guy who works there, i think maybe Cody or Cory, anyhow, hes the nicest guy ever and makes the entire experience perfectly complete.

Was our first visit, we were beyond amazed at this former school turned into a hotel. The staff was beyond amazing and fantastic. 3 restaurants to choose from and the food was awesome. We would completely come back again. Best of everything in one place. We also were amazed with leaving the history and decor of the place.

Live show new years eve.2018 Great band, great sound. Total fees to enter $28 per person.Only to discover there was only a handful of chairs & it was a standing event. We got there at 9 and were going to stand until mightnight. Wow.We stayed awhile and then left. Found a venue with fun & seating. It is just not cool to not mention no seating on the website.

I absolutely love this place. It is beautifully restored. The movie theater is small but modern. The food at the various restaurants provides a good variety of options. The rooms are spacious and have their own restroom and shower (some properties offer European style facilities).Go, eat, drink, sleep and enjoy.

This our favorite place to take our kids for dinner and a movie. Its casual, comfortable, and reasonably priced. We love it.

Beautiful comfortable seating that even reclines some. Most of the rows have a bar type table in front of them to set drinks and food you might buy. This is not a traditional movie theater. While there menu is limited you can actually order and eat a full meal, including alcoholic beverages, during your movie. This is a greet community location that is often frequented by families and couples.

One of my favorites place to go and relax and have a beer the pool is amazing. Food is always great located just a hour from Seattle.. The rooms are always clean and comfortable I have never been disappointed here

Fun place to see a movie if you like a small old fashioned experience. They have their mediocre food and overpriced beer available during the movie which is actually better than most movie theater offerings.

A busy spot with good food, beer, drinks, movie theatre and live entertainment. Popular with adults, kids and dogs alike. Sometimes the wait can be long, but its well worth a visit, especially the outdoor seating under the stars. Check out the art in the schoolhouse turned hotel, recollecting the history of the school and surrounding town.

Interesting concept! A school turned into various restaurants and bars, one with a swimming pool. You could spend a day or a weekend here just walking the grounds - I think I even saw a hotel. Will have to go back.

Loved the theater. The Wheel chair section is in the center of the theater, you are not breaking your neck to see the screen. Plenty of room.

I really wanted to like this theater. Everybody talked about how great it is and so my two daughters were ecstatic when they found out that I was taking them to see beauty and the beast. Unfortunately for us, mcmenamins was doing some construction in the building somewhere and it ruined the movie. Even my girls were distracted by the noise. If they happen to be making any noise nearby, it’s a waste of money how did they not realize that the work they were doing would drown out their theater??

Converted school auditorium. Staff was friendly to me and my special needs companions. Food and drink available. Caregiver passes were not available but the admission was reasonable so that paying full price for me was less than in regular chain theaters.

The theater runs first-run (current) films and matinees are only $7! This is a relatively small theater, so youre not in for IMAX-sized screens. The sound system is great and the screen is quite adequate. In the back there is seating with counters, and in the theater style seating on the main floor there are large cafeteria-style trays that fit into each seats cup holder. There is a full bar and you can order food, which is delivered to your seat. The theater allows minors only when accompanied by someone over 21. Its a great place to see a movie!

Ive never been to a place like this before and I love it. Some of the most friendly staff ever and the food was pretty good. We sat outside next to a fire pit and got to listen to some pretty decent live music. What more could you ask for.

I really enjoyed this movie theater, it was cool, unique and intimate providing food and drinks with comfortable seating. We watched Despicable Me 3 which was the only movie showing and there was less than 15 people total. I will definitely come back!

If you cant find someplace here that fits you, you havent looked hard enough. The campus includes multiple restaurants and amenities from the cozy Whisky bar to the Woodshop to the pool. Go bar hopping without even leaving the property. They also have event space and lodgings.

I love enjoying nights out with my husband at McMenamins. Always a crowd of local people having a great time. The food could be better.

Doors open 45 minutes before the movie starts so if you want to avoid the line and get your food right after your order it then thats the time to go. I went with my wife and the theater only had about 15 people by the time the movie started (it has space for over a hundred), which was surprising for a Friday night. The seats were comfortable; we chose two with a table that runs in front which was nice since we didnt have our food/drink in a lap tray. The video and audio were great considering it was only $9 a ticket. Would definitely go again.

This place is a community center, not just a bar. Very classy, lots of space, superb food and a decent selection of drinks. Theres a hotel, a pool (all Bothell residents swim free!) and a theater on site. The theater is the best around: you can order adult beverages, burgers, etc., and the price for an evening showing is less than anywhere nearby. Had a few work parties here outside by the fire pits. Always a good time.

Quirky, comfy, casual, whimsical mega destination built in the middle of nowhere, but smack dab fast in the path of booming expansive progress. Tons of high density living space booming all around... Almost like the McMennamins developers had a crystal ball!

Great place to have dinner and watch a movie. The only problem is theres an aisle only on the one side so if youre all the way to the left its a pain to get in and out.
