In the summer, this playground is the perfect long stop for any family. The water features are awesome and will keep your little ones entertained for hours.

Big enclosed playground with big slide/play structure for all ages. It is busy most of the time but still fun. Those frog sculptures are super fun for toddlers. Carousel and pond nearby are an added plus!

The splash pad here is really cute and the playground area has some equipment for younger toddlers.

Could be much better, not clean. Someone when I was there dumped a bunch of tums under the two long slides while my son was playing, left right after. Very Disappointing for a playground. One of the long slides is not very well secure and he twisty one is broke and baracaded.

Other then the overzealous squirrels, the park had decent equipment (although some of it was in rough shape) and it wasnt too busy on an Saturday morning in August.

Great playground. One star off because its always so crowded. My family started our vacation in Boston at this very spot - and ended up falling in love and moving to Boston!

This playground is sweet. Its modern but still fun. Its bright and well attended (ie a bit crowded). Its near so many cool things, too.Right next to it, you have food trucks, the Frog pond (skating in the winter, and lots of cool events all year), the carousel, Soldiers and Sailors Monument, the great elm, the Orpheum Theatre, and Boston Common.A few minutes walk will get you to shopping on Newbury Street, the flower gardens & swan boats, the entire theatre district, and historic Beacon Hill.Super cool family spot.

Nice spot at the heart of the common, however I wish it was bigger, cuz considering its location it gets extremely crowded at the weekends.

For kids it is a perfect place to end a summer day. Play at the playground, go around to see lots of ducks, birds and squirels, or go to the carousel.

Meh, found a couple of cigarette bits on the play area that our 9mo picked up. Play structures are OK. Was a little crowded when we came here: two classes of kids had come here on recess.
