Its a nice park, DCR keeps it lookin mint. If it wasnt for the clowns doing 100 down columbus Ave itd actually be nice.
Absolutely love, oen of the most useful things in boston
The flowers are beautiful here and makes for a really pleasant day-stroll. Volunteers are often seen along the path and are very friendly. The biggest drawback is the frequency of heroin addicts found along the path, especially closer to Mass Ave, and the used, open needles that are common in the grass and flower beds.
My son and I have been going since he was born to all the playgrounds, he still loves it..
Nice little park running above the mbta orange line tracks from forest hills to back bay station. Has a bike path and plaques dedicated to the history and construction of bostons first megaproject. Its a pleasant walk. A few dog parks and a skate park.
Great place to walk
Its a nice quiet, green path in the South End of Boston. Not sure why its called a park. It runs parallel to the MBTA Orange Line from Back Bay train station south to the Forest Hills station. There is a fenced-in dog playground and a working community garden, though at the southern end it is more like a park.
A pleasant find in Boston. Tucked away, peaceful park and path, no cars, green trees, grass, and bushes.
Good for just hanging out and for do go s and children
This place used to be a nice place for a quiet stroll through the city.Far too many obnoxious little dogs and joggers. Overcrowded.Feels like Brookline, or worse....
Great park to ride a bike through. Many different feels throughout. The spray fountains are nice in the summer
We come every year for the Banilejo festival and it is great. My father and grandfather love it
A great place to visit for your children
I love walking down this way if at all possible. Many lovely roses down the way.
Walk there all the time; it is well kept from Mass. Ave. to Dartmouth St.
Love the orange structure they have and the ziplines. The orange structure is for young and older. Im 40 and I even had a good x on it. The only thing is it is almost hidden but alot of fun....
Cute little park space in the South End area of Boston. It is over top the Orange MBTA line, so occasionally you can hear (and feel!) The trains below, but the wild flowers are stunning in the spring and summer. This space has a few basketball courts adjacent, as well as a few small community gardens, a childrens playground, and a paved dog park.Overall, quite a nice place for an evening walk.
Great place to walk and enjoy the view
Nice place to walk and ride your bike.
Good place for a stroll relaxing all the way
Great alleys for trash picking
Before the bench was taken out, it was a super nice place, to sit in a beautiful, shaded space to have my lunch. I work in the building right down the street & know the problems with the areas homeless ppl. But I dont mind by them& they dont mind me. LoL I wish they didnt take out the bench.
Lovely walking around Jamaica Pond in the summertime.
Needs to be better paved. Probably good for pedestrians, but pretty terrible for bikers without better paved paths or markings
Nice place...quiet walk
An overall great walk. I walk from JP to back bay on it all the time. Safe and relaxing
Very nice park, loved the bike path!
Very nice over the summer
Great way to take in the city, and excellent for commuting.
Had a lot of fun going through the park. Was a beautiful area of Boston
Its a nice walk through the greenery to break up the city living a bit and littered with playgrounds and gardens along the way
Great place to walk, take pics and the parks are great especially if you have children. Very family friendly
Chill place to do stuff or nothing but sit around
Was fun to explore this place in the winter. Cant wait till spring.
Nice park to bring your kids
Super friendly people.
Good safe walking path near a police station
Beautiful place on a beautiful day
Beautiful landscape
Great escape in the middle of everything
Nice place
I love it
I go here every day to walk my dog. Its fine for that and i enjoy the park, but i wouldnt recommend anyone going out of their way to visit.
Good place to go and run, take fresh air or have a picnic.
Historically big part of boston
The story of why this park is in existence is inspiring for an aspiring planner. I wish more people would use it!
Nice place to ride your bike.
Could use some improvements. But this is one of the best cycle paths/parks in the city.
The park isnt impressive, but the trains that travel are a nicr touch to the ambiance.
Nice area. After construction, they need to fix the sidewalks and island.
Well maintained, great for dogs, tennis, basketball, and community events (concerts, health fair, etc)
Love walking the southwest corridor from forest hill to back bay
It is pretty yet practical all rolled into one
The best thing about living on this side of Boston!
Great little park in the back bay area.
Beautiful and historic at night be very careful due too robberies of walleys phones and few rapes aswell.unfortunately as with anywhere some ppl ruin it for rest if u have a dog itsa must go here for doggy park
Great for walking, biking or pulling a child in a toboggan
Nice interlude during early morning run
Nice walk
This park is an extensive green space with bike path and several playgrounds through JP. Ive taken a few long walks covering the entire distance, which makes for a long and fairly pleasant trip.

This park was usually near Interstate 695 when it was cancelled, it was converted to a railway in 1972, and the Orange Line began near this place on May 4th, 1987, replacing the Washington Street Elevated.
