I spent a month at this motel and the manager is terrible,never in the office,disrespectful, rude.Brett has lied to me about room availability has canceled reservations through Hotels.com Ive got my card charged multiple times on different dates not one has gotten fixed. Wasnt bad other than him the house keeping is very nice,nice rooms its very clean.The manager needs to be more professional, not worry about what goes on with guests other than renting a room...Going out of his way to be a problem, when he should be going out of his way to be professional especially since that lots empty daily....And he throws away customers paying $70-90 a day NO DEALS!!Thats not how he does business....at another hotel paying over $100 less weekly...just liked the area and my fiance loved it there...hope they get better management.

A sweet quaint Little beach room , refrigerator, microwave,tv, A/C. Clean, newly renovated, comfy pillows, big plush bath towels, plus pool towels. Im in room 111 , next to the pool. Excellent motel to stay in. I love it. Close to the beach too. Go eat at Iguana Mia down the road a bit, awesome authentic Mexican food!!. Very cool atmosphere here ,and friendly folks too working on the premises. ️

Great hotel and excellent staff. Best customer service and attention. Clean rooms and hotel areas. Close to Bonita Beach, restaurants and bars. 2 minutes driving to the beach. I recommend this hotel 100% to everybody. Well return again at least twice every year. Thank you guys for your friendly attention. Well see you soon!

Good value for the amenities. Pool and grill and common areas. Close to Bonita Beach and a great restaurant the fishhouse and other places.

Very basic room. No closet or space to hang clothes. No coffee making facilities which is an absolute first for me. Wifi password did not work and no one in office to ask. Left a message on the contact number with no response. Also the check in instructions where for the wrong room. It served its purpose but would not stay at this location again.

This motel is old Florida. Convenient to the beach. Facilities show their age, but rooms are clean. Maybe 20 standard motel units and 10 bungalows. If you can, opt for the bungalows. Road is busy so ask for a room toward the back. Small but nice pool. Wi-fi. Continental breakfast with limited options. Staff is only available during the day. We had a pleasant stay despite the craziness of the time.

This is a no-frills motel in a great location. Our room was clean and serviced daily. We chose this motel for its proximity to the beach which was unfortunately closed to the public during the latter part of our stay due to coronavirus fears. This was not our hosts fault, but it definitely put a damper on our vacation, particularly in light of the fact that private beaches were kept open. It is unlikely that we will visit this part of Florida again. It was clear to us that wealthy property owners in this area do not welcome or want seasonal visitors.

Everything was excellent. I feel bad that I had to call them to help me get in my room. But the gentleman was very courteous about it.

This stay made me question Expedia’s rating system and trusting it again. The staff were exceptionally kind, but overall, I didn’t enjoy the stay. The shower didn’t really work, AC unit was exceptionally loud, and room air felt pretty stagnant. Location wise it was only a short drive to the beach, you can’t really walk anywhere though, but I think that’s pretty common for the area. At the end of the day, it is a two star motel and possibly an excellent two star motel, but don’t expect more than that.

Great place room rented was excellent, seems mostly unstaffed the cashier/desk person was very kind and got me checked in quickly, but after my check in seemed front desk was vacant I had wanted to extend my stay but could not.

The Flamingo is actually an inviting place to stay. Small, landscaped very nicely, heated pool. Its on the main road to Bonita beach. Even though its surrounded by other places of businesst, the landscaping in the courtyard area give you a peaceful sense that youre away from it all. BUT, having no working AC in our room for our stay so far in Florida is the reason for the low rating for now. We were told on the first day that it would be fixed either that day or the next. Right now we are facing a second night in higher than normal temps for this time of year still with no AC. If/when the AC issue is resolved I will update this review.

The room was small but they have a nice sitting area in a tiki hut and then there is the pool. They are a short distance to the beach. The morning coffee was excellent.

Very cute place with fairly decent rates. When you think of Florida, all the things that remind you of what Florida looks like, is here. Tiki huts, palms trees, tiny but refreshing pool and hot summer sun. Only a mile of walking to the beach. The villas are awesome, kinda like a 1 bedroom apt. If only it was cheaper, it was $100, daily rate, with tax included and no weekly rates. No continental breakfasts served until tourist season but served coffee daily. I will always like the Flamingo Inn, it would be a star better if the manager would smile more and be a little more people friendly. But Im sure sitting behind the desk, accommodating strangers with their motel needs on the daily as grown old.

We liked the accents of the landscaping and property--a lot packed into a small space. Beach access was just down the road.

Good location and parking. Room was decent ... a little dated, but clean. A/c worked well. Good ice machine.

Disappointed the office was closed for remodeling. We usually look to staff for recommendations on dining and sites. Not pleased with bugs in room. Rooms were worn out and in need of facelift.

Great motel if you need to be up early for a 5 am meeting. No need for an alarm! The early morning workers traveling by will guarantee to wake you up. If that doesnt wake you up? Then the 1950s metal blinds will let the sun in to help. On rainy days the wind will blow the water under the door as for the threshold has been crushed by a heavy suit case! The west facing rooms if any would be my preferred choice.The pool and court yard is very comfy and u feel like your in the tropics. No breakfast after 4/16/18.The rooms are clean and the beds in our room have been updated with new matrices along with a flat screen TV. Stayed here 5 years ago and the bed was from the Flintstones along with the TV!

They have a nice decorated garden area & pool. The room was smaller then pictured & smelled funny. The area where toilet & shower are was very cramped. The ceiling in shower area is stained. Otherwise it was quiet & no one bothered you. Everyone was friendly & courteous.

Very cute and clean motel. It was our first time staying in motel and we didnt regret it. Easy access, free parking, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night. Nothing I can think of that needs improvement.

It was cheap enough and close to beach. Housekeeing showed up daily but no one is ever at the office.

Nice place but the management was not around on arrival. In fact no one was and our room was paid in advance. Had to locate our own find our room. But the place itself was great.

Stayed in room to the right of the pool, ground level stepped right in! Direct view down the path to the tiki garden patio Nice breakfast area, we enjoyed hot coffee and danish under the beautiful tiki huts! Lovely at night too and peaceful, would love to stay there again!!

First the smell from the AC unit was unbearable. The inside must have been full of mould. Couldn’t run it . They claim to have a heated pool but it was not heated . I did go to the office regarding the problems and they said they would see what they could do. We only stayed the one nite. I would not at all recommend this hotel for the money they are asking .

Very inexpensive motel that nonetheless has everything you might need. We came to the town for a wedding, and this motel provided a perfect home base. . We were quite happy with the complimentary breakfast, with a wide selection of pastries and your usual staple of tea, coffee, and even some fruit.The room was spacious and clean. There is also a dryer, an iron, a microwave, and a fridge. The wifi in the room was spotty, not working most of the time, however you could always catch wifi in their inner garden.Speaking about the inner garden, its beautiful, almost a tropical paradise. There is also a pool and a grill.If you care about a beach, you can find a beautiful one within walking distance. There is also a shopping plaza with CVS, Walgreens, Publix, and other chain stores. In the neighborhood, you can also select from many restaurants. Right next to the motel, you can find a taqueria.Recommended!

Stayed here 2 yrs ago one of the nicest motels in Bonita stayed here last night very disappointed under new management this place has been let go very run down no coffee! No continental breakfast ! On the positive low cost nice room website is wrong on robust breakfast! Bring your own coffee ! Happy journeys

Quaint motel, friendly staff. Accommodations were beyond expectations for a motel. The pool area and court yard were very relaxing locations. You forget that youre staying on a major highway! Would definitely stay here again, wish we had been able to stay more than one night. Its one mile from the beach, so planning a sunset trip is easy to do! Centrally located to a number of great restaurants. Highly recommend!

Yes its an old fashioned roadside motel but its great value accommodation. Rooms are basic but clean, the villas open directly on to a lovely compact set of thatched courtyards. The pool area is again compact but clean and secluded. There is a free to use gas BBQ.The star of the show is the manager John, who seems to do everything there from check-in to maintenance and gardening. John really made us all welcome and even came out to the car to see us off, wish us a safe journey home and of course invite us back in the future.

Great place for the price, waaaay surpassed my expectations for a motel. Nice pool, quaint garden. Definately recommended.

Awful. This used to be a really great place but the new management not only has let the place fall apart but theyre rude.No breakfast No coffee makers in room. Coffee supposed to be out by 8am and wasnt.The old management used to have the cabana area lit up beautifully with soft music playing and tiki torches. It has nothing now. Its run down ,dirty, unfriendly and not worth a return. What ashame. Stay Away DONT WASTE A DIME HERE

Staff was not friendly. Beds were hard as a rock. Bath didnt work. Back patio area was nice. Walking distance to the beach was nice. Not at all worth how much you pay for it.

This is definitely not the same place I was at 7 years ago. The room was stinky like a daycare center and had ants in our room. To top it off the front desk man was very sarcastic after I waited for someone to show up at the front desk! He started cracking jokes as if he was slow and disabled, which is hard to take coming from such a fit guy. I was rudely disappointed. Next time Im going to spend the four more dollars and go to a more reputable place along 41 not far from the area that does include free breakfast and that does have clean rooms and that DO have good CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The room was clean & bright. Windows were facing East, so there was dark tinting on them to keep sun out & save electricity. You could see out the windows very well. Bathroom quite small but clean.

The person who checked me in was friendly. The room was clean, but needs updating. Was never given a WiFi password, so was never able to connect.

Very cute, beachy motel with a lot of potential but unfortunately not at all what we expected. There was no continental breakfast as advertised, that was a major disappointment because that was the deciding factor on why we chose this motel versus others. We stayed here for 4 days and housekeeping only came once. After the first night of sleeping in the bed, we woke up with very small itchy bite marks all over our legs, so I would strongly advise checking thoroughly for bed bugs if you choose to stay here.*If you google search this motel, it says there are BBQ’s to cook with and free breakfast included- these are both untrue, plan to spend money eating out every night.

Found this place on my smart phone and thought that I would give it a try. Had just come up from a wedding in the Keys and were on a road trip working our way back to Chicago.Had stayed in many places on this trip and Ive got to say that the most fancy and overflowing amenities dont always make you feel comfortable and happy. This place had the right balance. Immaculately kept up and tastefully landscaped and layed out in the cutest fashion, with the friendliest owner. Beautiful little courtyard and pool.It just made you feel comfortably happy.

Owners went out of there way to provide a room when we arrived late. Curb appeal not the best but once inside its great. Dont overlook thus place.

A kind and warm motel. When we arrived, the lady at the reception gave us immediately gave us the towels we would miss in the room. A nice garden to eat out breakfast was such an delite start of the day! Thanks for your kindness and hospitality.

On arrival we found that one pillow had a large amount of blood on the pillowcase. The manager apologized, but really, how can a room be cleaned and that happen. The outside wall was so thin that traffic sounded like it was coming through the room and a guy talked outside the room for hours 1 night and we could hear every word. And they charge you before you arrive and do not give refunds, even with bloody pillows, hard beds, poor breakfast, and paper-thin walls.

I would like to publicly apologize to John and the rest of the staff at the flamingo. My 1st review has been deleted. Due to Expedia not doing their job and lying to me about a refund owed to me for over the last 4 months and passing off the reason being the motels I was upset. I emailed the motel yesterday and was answered the first thing this morning by John. After exchanging a few more emails throughout the day and John calling expedia himself, a 4MONTH problem was solved in a few hours. With a great relief to me. Thank you John. Although I didnt get a chance to stay there due to mother nature and other circumstances. I can recommend this motel for their honesty. Again thanks John.

This place is disgusting! The rooms are filthy and need to be fumigated. The carpet is torn, ceramic is cracked, showers are filthy with black mold and the rooms have a foul odor. Dont be fooled by the reviews.....this place is ready for demolition. Staff was obnoxious and not helpful
