I absolutely love this theater for so many reasons. First is that the people are so friendly no matter what time of day or night. The seats are the most comfortable I have sat on. They literally feel like you are on a lazy boy recliner. The popcorn always tastes fresh and you get refills on both popcorn and sodas. The theater is never crowded or dirty. The bathrooms are always clean with no stank odors. I honestly dont know why its not a busier place at night because it is a very relaxing theater.

Overall I like Sh-wood. The lobby, ticket booth and restrooms could some work. They have the recliners inside. I also appreciate that they usually have a few indie films playing.

Decent theater. When we went the box office was open so did not experience the delays reported by others. Very comfortable seats, however no stadium seating in the theater we were in.Popcorn was fresh and tasty.

The theater itself was very comfortable, but when I needed to change my daughters diaper I was completely disgusted as I pulled down the changing table and it had poop smeared all over with poop filled paper towels! So disgusting! I had to change the baby on a small part of the sink counter! They need to clean the bathrooms better, and invest in air fresheners for the bathrooms, they smell! * I tried to post a picture, but it won’t let me, you get the picture anyway *

Took our daughter to see her first movie in a theater. Staff was friendly and the ticketing procedure was easy and convenient (bought online and sent to my phone). Chairs were comfortable but were beginning to show wear. Theater was very clean!

Everything is great about this theatre. The seats, location, and employees. They are all so nice, especially the gentleman that always takes my tickes and greets me so nice.. The only thing that is bothersome, is the female manager, who could not be nastier. I think as a manager you would need to have great people skills.She is not suited for this job.

Tickets are so easy to buy online...Concessions was clean and the employees are friendly and helpful to the patrons buying their tickets there.Theater that our movie was in was clean and the temperature was nice and cool.Will definitely be back!

Comfortable seats clean. The one big thing I do not like is to pick my seat from a screen and not looking where I want to sit. I like to known whos dumb idea this was.

I have been going to this theater for over 10 years and not once have I had a bad experience...up until now. I was looking forward to watching It 2 with my girls to only find out that the movie dates arent posting a lot of time in advance. This was reasonable though, noticing that the movie wasnt for several days. I was upset for calling the theater over 10 times and getting no answer. They made me answer multiple questions and finally connected me to the theater, but unfortunately no response.

I just took my elderly mom to a movie here that she really wanted to see. Ford VS. Ferrari. The movie was played with subtitles and was very distracting to view. I didnt want to leave her during the movie so I asked for the manager after to find out why and he said that they do this for those that are hard of hearing. I get this, but they should let people know ahead of time so they dont waste their money. To add insult to injury, he said he would have given me a refund if I came out earlier, but at this point he pretty much told me to pound sand. I do not recommend this place at all. Very poor customer service

Lost 2 stars for trying to leave your customers defensless. For the customers: note there no guns or weapons allowed policy had NO FORCE of LAW. If you are licensed all they can do is kick you out on the off chance they catch you so I ENCOURAGE you to to DISREGARD this policy as I do. The risk of losing a 10 dollar movie ticket is well worth it if you carry normally . Since you can simply ignore this policy great theatre tho . #gunssavelife

Once you get passed the extremely annoying concept of having no box office and having to stand in the refreshment lines to buy a ticket, the theaters are quite comfortable with the reclining chairs and the theater I was in was clean. Clean rest rooms. Great movies but too many commercials. Movie did not start at time published due to endless commercials, ads and previews

This place has gotten better over the years, especially with the recliners which are pretty comfortable(even though the chairs are not all in great condition) and I love that during a recent opening weekend, they had police inside and they checked bags before they let you in. Made me feel somewhat safer

Unlike other Regals in the area, the concession line is fast and getting in to see your movie is never stressful. Seats are super comfy. Parking could be better, but its worth it.

Kind of smelled like pee when you went in there. The staff was extremely nice, theyre what made it all ok. The seats in the theater were recliners but they were so cracked and old and the fake leather was peeling off. They just looked dirty, like you wouldnt want to sit down in them. I had never been there before, so these things were a turn off. Again, the staff were all very pleasant.

Great theater, but the leather seats are getting really worn. Time for some new seat covers.

Usually this is a good theater but tonight its been nothing but a total cluster. They had no one in the box office just a sign directing us to go to concessions to by tickets. There was a rather large line only and two registers being staffed (and one of them crashed) with three or so extra employees just standing around.

Nice movie theater! Its a bit old, but has new recliner seats that are comfy and these really cool candy machines in the hallway. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the theater and prices werent too bad either.

Seriously lacking in customer service!!!!! Manager Jose with no ID tag couldnt have been more rude. Might be a theme with these youngsters, if you read other reviews. Theater was hot (usually I freeze), overly loud and ads run for 25 minutes. Corporate ought to change times that movies begin as it is totally annoying to arrive on time and sit for 25 minutes for ads and coming attractions so loud that I thought the theatre was for the hard of hearing. I will frequent other theatres from here on. Please get congenial managers instead of the ones that excel in deliberate nastiness and rudeness. Deserves no stars.

Good to get out

We went to watch Crawl last Friday. It was opening night but we got good seats because the girl at the ticket counter gave us the wheelchair ones (which shes not supposed to, and she did let us know if someone with need for those seats came wed have to move. Which we were fine with) at that point the theater was basically full except for the very front row. The wait for the ticket booth was a bit long but it was to be expected, the theatre was littered with a bunch of high schoolers, but I guess thats where they all hang out. The seats were amazing. Super comfortable, large, reclining, definitely made the experience A+. The price was around $13 per ticket and Ive paid more for crappier seating so I would say its worth driving to Boca every once in a while for a good seat.

Did not have my pre payment. info. and missed a little bit of the beginning.asked for a small drink for to make up for the inconvience.and was told the mistake was not on there end. well the mistake was not on my end either. the manager froze. seriouslly could not make that big manager desicission. i give so much to keep my customers happy. i couldnt get a drink. bad customer service.

One of my favorite theatersOne issue is the AC I have had to walk out of a theater because it was so damn cold. I wear jeans and bring a jacket always. I seriously dont think management cares or is not around. In all my trips here never once saw a manager. Employees are friendly, snack bar theyre nice. Theaters clean,good sound & picture quality

I am very pleased to have this theater in the neighborhood. You can buy tickets in advance in assigned seating. The seats are quite comfortable and support the legs of even my tall 6ft 5in husband. They have all current releases and simulcast of operas and other performance arts. For those that are interested they also serve beer and wine

This theatre keeps getting worse. The lights come on before the end of the movie. The staff is pointless when it comes to fixing things that go wrong. I hope this place goes out of business soon. The chairs are comfy.

Always come down for the indie films and the Oscar nominated type flicks when I cant see them at the Royal Palm Beach location next to my house.Nevertheless. Im glad to see the leather recliners, and I really like the flat living room setup of the theaters, and the concession stand and ticket booth are always very smoothly.Worth the trip from Royal Palm when necessary.

Plenty of movies screens to choose from. Small theaters, so it might be easy for a movie to sell out quickly if its popular but comfortable reclining seats make this a good place to watch a movie.

The theater had very strange seating. Long rows with the end 5 or 6 seats on each end facing a wall rather then the screen. The movie was still able to be seen though.

It is very disappointing that now you have to purchase tickets at the concession stand, Im thinking this is to encourage the purchase of snacks; The lines are long and slow. The recliners are worn and peeling, and the air is humid.This was my favorite theater but you must maintain it or it will go back to the old shadowood!

Clean, GREAT recliners! My go to theatre.

The start time for the film I wanted to see was stated as 11:05 a.m. Ive been conditioned to expect around fifteen minutes of previews which used to begin at the stated start time, but for the second time in three weeks, there were an additional fifteen minutes of commercials before the previews even started. The film actually began at 11:34. I think this is a new Regal policy and it bothers me. I will be trying AMC and other theaters to see what their policies are.

This theater is really close to my home I wish they can change out the chairs theyre in bad condition the staff is super friendly and very courteous

A good place to see a movie but the popcorn they use or how it is prepared is subpar. First order was stale and burnt, the second order was barely palatable for the amount of money you pay.

I really like this theater. The seats are very large and comfortable, they recline, have cup holders and you can raise the arm rest in the center for some sweet snuggling action. The staff does a nice job too.

The seating changed quite a while ago to recliners which are very comfortable. Another upgrade is the ability to pick your own seats ahead of time so you dont have to rush and stand on a long line. I know that my reserved seat will be there even if I arrive a few minutes after the scheduled time for a movie to start. Snack bar lines are very long at times.

The areas where you watch the movie are all fine with nice, comfortable chairs.The problem is the hall and lobby areas smell terrible. Like almost rancid. They need to get some odor-eliminating Febreze or burn some candles or something. I dont know what it is, but its extremely unpleasant. I wish they would fix it, because then I would definitely consider signing up for Regals upcoming unlimited plan.Also, they need self-service kiosks. Theyre faster, and are much better than having to deal with sleepy employees that are bored of printing movie tickets all day.

Went here for toy story 4. babies crying and toddlers running around everywhere. would not recommend.

Greatest theatre

The theater is nice its self with comfortable chairs are reclining style. The concession seems very understaffed and the lines are abnormally long but its not a big problem. The floor of the mens restroom always seems wet. What the liquid is Im not sure and would rather not speculate.

This is a good movie theater. Small theaters so make sure you reserve ahead of time. Probably one of the best recliner seats in the area. This place has the best closed caption devices. The only reason I dont give more stars is because the food options are limited and the closed caption devices are not properly taken care of (often scratched or permanently marked so you cant see well).Im upgrading to 4 stars. The closed caption devices are now properly maintained and this is a consistently good movie theater to go to.

Went to see “it” last night. I go to shadowood a lot and last night was a terrible experience. What happened to security? Why did they discontinue? Kids were vaping in in the theater now and the restrooms. Kids Running up and down isles. Trying to fit 3 people in to 1 seat. Opening the back doors to sneak people in without paying? Yes this all happened in 1 night. Thank goodness mgt refunded ticket but security needs to come back.

Stumbled on to it by mistake. Was pleasantly surprised. Was clean, comfortable. Refreshments were outrageous though

Regal Cinemas at Shadowood in Boca is very clean, staff is efficient with directions as to where to go & the seats in this theater are very comfortable. We frequent this theater because of the reclining seats, much more comfortable than other theaters! Try it!

Took my nephews here and the seats are amazing. We had a blast, this was the perfect place to take them. I was very disappointed that the kids working in concessions gave me a hard time getting refills on my large popcorn and drink. After paying $15 for a snack, and they advertise that larges get a free refill, they didnt want to give it to me, stating that they were sure I had already come to get my refill. I didnt appreciate this because I had snuck out mid movie to get it, and didnt want to be long after leaving the young boys inside. I recommended they do a marking system to avoid this problem in the future, and only after requesting to talk to a manager, was I finally given the refills.

Shadowood is our local neighborhood cinema, so I keep coming back. The films are the latest, the loyalty program is good, the refreshments stand offers everything, and the seats are fantastic. My problem is that its so shabby. It really needs an up-date.

Way better than it ever was but back in the day it felt like walking into a blockbuster. So if you pair up nostalgia with a decent price youd meet your perfect match with 16.

Horrible. Me and my husband are senior citizens and the cost of tickets and popcorn is absurd. 19.50 for tickets and 2 medium popcorn and 2 small drinks 29.00. Popcorn cost more than the movie. That is why no one goes to the movies anymore. Will never go back there again!

Very spacious and comfortable seats. You can put the middle armrest up to get closer to whoever you are with. Ive been going here for many years, the service has always been great.However, I went here on Christmas and the employees were rude, unsympathetic, and genuinely seemed to be annoyed when I first ordered the tickets, bought popcorn, and turned in my ticket to enter the theatres.Ive never had such terrible service at a movie theatre, and this terrible service overshadows the years of great experiences Ive had over the years. I dont want employees to be super friendly all the time, but when you roll your eyes at me and my family and pretend like we are greatly disservicing you by trying to pay for and watch a movie.. it makes me not want to come here again.The only reason its not a 1/5 stars is because of the years of good experiences.

Very convenient movie theater with a few dining options in the same shopping center.I really like the reckling seats, seat reservations via various apps. Rooms are clean, screens are bright, sound is good. A perfect cinematic experience.The entrance and popcorn stand feel a bit outdated, but Id rather have the owners invest in digital projectors, sound speakers and comfortable seats

I would recommend this movie theatre to everyone except for the fact I dont want too many people knowing how great it is! The reserved seating option is great, there arent any worries about arriving late. The seats go very back and are extremely comfortable, the theatres arent huge but it does fit about 35 seats. I like it because the seats can be bigger and there isnt too much limited space like other movie theatres Ive seen. My favorite place to watch movies.

Prices are good. Love the reclining seats. Its usually spotless, and they are service dog friendly. The seats are wide and when fully reclines theres still room for a person to walk in front of you, and you not have to move.Only reason I didnt give them a fifth star is the concession stand is ridiculously slow.If you dont have 20 minutes to wait before your movie, skip the food or miss the beginning of the movie.
