Interesting layout. Could use more yardage helps, like on sprinkler heads. Fairways were a bit thin and rough was very dry and bare in spots. Greens were fast and rolled true.

Its a very nice golf course. Lots of fun to play, with interesting approach shots required. As of July 2017 the greens are in bad shape but it seems like they are working to fix them. Will come back!

Relatively inexpensive round of golf. Fun but not overly challenging course. Maintained well and good for an infrequent golfer like myself who wants to enjoy a round without losing a dozen balls.

This place is like a real life walking dead episode, course has a cool design though. Weeds ran rampant so much that you couldnt find your ball if you werent on the fairway. Weeds were on the fairway as well. Only place that wasnt overran by weeds was the greens. An employee told me the place hasnt been touched with a chemical in a least 2 weeks and said the owner doesnt have the money to give the super to do his job. Waste of 42.00 and a waste of time. Bunkers which theres allot of, were concrete and had weeds in them. Completely ridiculous, sell the course to someone who will take care of it. O lay upside is the banks will soon own this property due to foreclosure. Also was told the owner will be arrested soon. Stay away!

Reviewing for food only. Very good bar food! Ordered for pickup, and the food was ready in time and packaged nicely. We got the buffalo wings, black bean burger, and Cobb salad. We would order all again!

I was very disappointed at the restaurant they seated me and a guest. We were then rudely told to leave as they said there were at a max number of people . There were empty seats but would not serve us or even let’s us order a quick drink and were very rude about it .

Course has a nice layout, but the course itself is in bad shape. For their weekend rates of $38/hr, the course is not in acceptable condition. Only part of the course that was maintained were the greens. Looked as if they had not mowed in weeks. Numerous traps full of water. Pace of play was slow due to the poor conditions. Again, nice layout and has the potential to be a good course, but the condition is disappointing.

Beautiful course. Very challenging.

The course lay out is great! Greens were in excellent condition! Course just needs some TLC on the tee boxes, fairways, sand traps and rough! Rough is too long and tee boxes and fairways need to be mowed! Sand traps need to be raked and some weeds removed! 19th hole was great, good food and cold beer! Staff was friendly! Our foursome played 7-26-19 and would play again if conditions improved! Really liked the course!!!

Stopped in for lunch at 1:30 on a Saturday. Greeted by Ryan at the bar. Super pleasant, great TVs to view my Buckeyes!Ordered the Chili! Wings were unbelievable as well. Wow. New bar is a grand slam as well.Also overheard folks talking about how happy they are with the new facility upgrades and new leadership. What a breath of fresh air.Highly recommend a visit.

Amazing layout, reasonably priced for 18 and a cart on a weekend, but course is in terrible shape. Tee boxes and fairways longer than some rough Ive seen. Every trap is ground under repair, and I would lose golf balls just off the fairway because of grass height. Deserted tennis courts and basketball courts viewable from the course, makes this feel like a course in despair. Good food and a nice club house, but very challenging course layout complicated by crappy ground care.

We are so happy to be a part of this community that has such a fine facility in our back yard. The improvements have been wonderful and the community outreach has been impressive. The restaurant improves daily- we love the salmon dinner and the burgers. Its so great to see people that we havent seen in a long time getting back together and socializing up at the Pub and Bistro.

Visiting friends in the community and we decided to order some apps to supplement our dinner (carry out). I really wanted to try out the food since they opened under new management. We ordered smoked wings which we understood to be one of their specialties. First of all, they were a green/gray color. Nothing that looked freshly cooked. The meat was very dry and had a very odd taste. I believe the only smoke these wings ever had contact with was the chemical type. I’m really sure they were pre-processed in a plant and heated up at the bar. The pre-made onion rings didn’t fare much better. The batter was thick and tough to bite into. These also had an odd flavor and we did not eat even half the order. I really wanted to like the food and have a place there to enjoy good food, good drinks and good friends. I’ll still enjoy the friends but it will have to be somewhere else.

Food is fine. Bar has good selection of drinks.

This is a beautiful setting to play and work. Lovely staff and friendly people will greet you wherever you go.

Course is in a terrible condition. Grass is high everywhere. It takes an extra long tee in the tee boxes to tee your ball up to a reasonable postion. Rough is extremely high and ill kept. Sand traps are ill kept and almost unplayable. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Any other course in the Bloomington area is in much condition than Eagle Pointe.

Our group had a tee time at 7:00 in the morning. When we arrived at 6:40 the was no one at the pro shop or anywhere else for that matter. Finally, around 7:10 an employee shows up to turn on the lights and let us in. By this time there are a couple other groups wanting to get on the course which caused a back- up. The greens were not terrible but were very slow because they had not been cut or rolled. The fairways are very thin and one has to find some grass from time to time to place your ball on. The rough is very tall and going to seed. If you’re not in the fairway you’ll spend more time looking for your ball than playing. I would say the course is in about 60% condition. We saw not one employee cutting or working on this course in any way the intire time we were there. Maybe next year this will be better. Otis park is $20 with cart and this course is $35 and Otis park is in good shape.

Had the brisket burger. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Service was also great.

Golf course wasnt in the best condition. But the club house and all other amenities were top of the line. Sounded like there is new management here, and the woman I spoke to was very understanding that the course wasnt in fantastic condition and that they were working their best to get the course back to better conditions. Will be returning in the spring time to see the improved course.

Since the residents association bought the golf course and club house things are looking up. The course had its soft opening in June and the club house is being made ready to open later this season. Theres a positive vibe in the air.

I live near here and I am tired of the people who cant golf. They have no respect and dont care that they drive their golf carts in the road and hit peoples windows and cars with their golf balls. If you are going to be golfing in a place that is near homes, at least learn how to hit the damn ball.

My friend and I just golfed here 3 days ago and the course was in horrible shape. We lost 8 or 9 balls that were barely hit off the fairway in the rough because the grass was so high in the rough that we could not locate our balls. Over the last few years we have played several courses around Indiana and Illinois and this was definitely one of the top 3 worst courses we have played at. Yes we have had a bunch or rain this year but the 6 other courses we have played at this year had their rough trimmed down. Also, the waterfalls on holes 10 and 18 were bone dry. Why have beautiful waterfall designs if you arent going to use them. $29 is way too high for the shape this course is in. I understand that the course was closed a few years ago due to prior owner filing for bankruptcy. The new owners purchased this course April of 2018. They have had over a year to get it back in shape. Sorry but we will never be playing here again. If you are looking for great courses to play in this area I recommend Cascades, IU’s new course or Otis Park or Stone Crest just down the road in Bedford.

Its safe having guard shacks for residents only. Less chance of unwanted thieves and solicitors. Friendly people,swimming pools in several parts. A club house, restaurant and bar! And beautiful golf course.

Went with a group of 16 or so the weekend of Sept 22 and the parking lot has been empty Friday and Saturday. Feels like this place is not going to be around much longer. Crabgrass everywhere, fairways are dry, greens are in horrible shape. Dumpster is overflowing into the cart path coming to the clubhouse from 18. The clubhouse is in need of repairs, they had a bucket catching water dripping through the ceiling in the clubhouse dining room from an unknown source (Not raining).At one time this place was beautiful, now it is pitiful.On a positive note: No one pushes you when the course is empty. We practically have 18 to ourselves. Condos were in decent shape inside. Manager Dawn was very accommodating and food was good for the most part.We will not be back next year.

Staff was professional, friendly and courteous. They explained things were a little rough but they had just taken over the course and it would improve. All in all had a great time.

The Apartments are small but nice. Low crime and beautiful nature with a suburban feel. Also conveniently located near golf courses for something fun to do.

The course is good and Its not terribly challenging, but has its moments with some hole being designed much better than other. The grass all around is well groomed with decent greens. Some holes are tight, but possible to find most balls. The biggest con is the expensive price for what this course is, paying around $35 for 18 and cart. The restaurant is good, but a touch pricey as well.

High hopes for the clubhouse and event center (The Nest). After years of ownership problems, the Pointe Owners Association (POA) took it over.They have done extensive remodeling in the bar and kitchen, are upgrading all their interior and exterior lighting to LED and adding several more parking lot lights.Tony the GM, John the board member and Glenn the facuties guy are kicking it up a notch.

We held our end-of-summer banquet at Eagle Pointe last night. It was a gorgeous venue with friendly staff and delicious food. Our ceremony went a little longer than planned (by about a half hour) and I think they turned off the air conditioning or it stopped working at some point. It was incredibly hot by the end. Other than that, though, it was a great night and we appreciated the space.

The place is really coming around under the new owners. The bar, restaurant are still a great place to go.

Excellent experience! Looking forward to returning.

Beautiful setting on monroe lake. Grounds are well maintained. Bar is expected to open in September.

New ownership (in spring 2018) has made great strides to bring Eagle Pointe back to its glory days.

If you want someplace quiet excluded then this is the place to go beautiful outside the windows at night feed the animals Golf Course swimming pool all the help there is wonderful thanks again. Come back anytime

I played golf and stayed the night at the resort and was very satisfied with the accommodations, the food and the staff. The staff were all very professional and could not have been nicer.The unit we rented was well decorated, clean and adequately equipped. The balcony over looked Lake Monroe.The course was challenging and in great shape.I can highly recommend the resort.

Since the new owners its $6 per person to get in the pool unless you live here. It used to be free. Plus side the pool has a full bar. They should give you a entrance fee refund if you buy a few drinks.

Eagle Pointe Golf Resort has a very nice golf course. The restaurant is not the best but the employees are nice.

Onof the better public golf courses in the area. Very well laid out and maintained. A notable flaw is the lack of yardage markers along the fairways. Overall, recommended. Would play again

The security guard was extremely rude. Im an Uber driver I was going to pick someone up. He said that they werent on the list. However this person was inside Eagle Point. He then proceeded to say if I go past the gate hes going to call the sheriff and have me arrested for trespassing. So if you are a person of color dont go here.

This place has it all!! If you like to dance... They have live entertainment every weekend.. Lots of fun!!! All ages..not just college kids.

Had a great time golfing. My ONLY complaint is that so close to memorial weekend, the course was not 100% Example: no sand in traps, waterfalls not running, etc. Over all a pretty fun golf outing.

The place used to be a destination, until it was purchased by a criminal and run into the ground. Its a shame for all those employees and patrons who had so many good memories there and had great ideas for taking the resort to the next level.

New Owner owes my firm money for work we did. They Filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy September 2017. Looking at the online filing-They owe over 60 different groups ranging from employees to trash haulers, to lawn care, golf ball companies, kitchen food suppliers, and others a bunch of money. Not crossing my fingers that I will ever see a cent. I would not book an event here as I would not be sure it will be open.

I have been a long time resident of eagle pointe. The manager of the restaurant mustve been beat up in high school searching for authority. More commonly known as short mans disease. Based upon his treatment of residents I will never eat there again. Im going to make it my mission to see the restaurant gets no business until he is fired.

I give 1 point because there isnt anything lower to give. Made reservations in May for Labor Day weekend. Got a call the NIGHT BEFORE that we no longer have the condo. Staff was very unprofessional, unsympathetic, uncaring, un-fill-in-the-blank. No help to rectify the situation that they created. So very disappointed in a place that weve been going to for 30 years.

Spending the weekend for bachelor party. Its a fun course, with nice elevation changes. The resort jas been very accomadating to our large group of nearly 30 guys. Decent food, and a huge outdoor covered pavillion and Tiki bar at the pool. Live band out there on Friday night, a lot of the locals were there drinking and partying.

Great place to rent for a party!

The club house isnt opening this year, neither is the pools. The tennis courts by the golf course isnt playable.
