We always enjoy coming to CI Shooting Sports to shoot some guns. Must sign a waiver for all minors and watch a video for safety. We took our boys here for the first time yesterday and they enjoyed it very much. There are rules you have to follow by so make sure that you abide by them. We had a time limit of 1 hour but also for $20 we were able to rent unlimited rifles to try out the ones that they had available, it was nice to be able to have that option! Good prices & service!

Glad the range is back open after COVID. Always a good experience, clean store and friendly staff. Glad to have a safe place to teach my daughter about the safe use of firearms.

The staff were all friendly, and very knowledgeable. The staff wasnt pushy with product, and there was no pressure to buy. I asked about something that wasnt on the shelf, and they brought some out immediately for me. The facility is very clean, and the layout is nice.

I had a terrible, terrible experience here. If I could give this place 0 stars.... I would.

If it wasn’t for Janette today C.I. Is a great place and I love their range. Everyone aside from Janette is fantastic and super friendly. My issue with Janette is she is kind of rude and inconsiderate. She decided to yell at me if front of my wife, staff and customers over something that wasn’t addressed to me and it was very embarrassing. Rather than discuss this on the side so I’d know for future references she yelled at me like a child. It was very unprofessional and when your staff has the courtesy to apologize for your childish behavior that just goes to show you how you blew that whole minor situation out of proportion. I’m buy a lot of stuff from you guys and again enjoy most of your staff but to ridicule someone in front of my wife, staff and customers is just plain unacceptable. Maybe anger management might be something to consider.

Locally owned and operated, staff has been friendly and helpful every time Ive been in. Frequent special occasions at the range, such as Gunpowder and Glitter ladies nights and Date Night at the Range. Deals are all inclusive for a firearm rental, box of ammo and a range lane. Incredibly good deal. Store itself is spacious and modern with a very large selection of not only firearms, but accessories and clothing.

CI shooting is seriously the best indoor range and gun store in Illinois. There is an incredibly knowledgeable staff with a seemingly never-ending passion to please the customer. All around best store for all your shooting needs, just a good time, classes and selection. If you plan on using the range a lot I highly suggest the Platinum yearly package or lifetime Platinum. CI shooting could be a second home for some with the amount of amenities. Keep doing what youre doing , youre doing it right!

A bit pricey for lessons and gear. Very clean though and employees were nice and very knowledgeable. Took a CCW class here and the lady that taught it was very knowledgeable but was a little off in some of her information. I’ll still be taking a few more classes here and will leave another review at a later date

This place is awesome! I am a newbie when it comes to guns and a small group of us wanted to check this place out. Everyone was amazing through the whole process, from helping us make the arrangements to come to in....all the way through learning how to shoot. We spoke with Jeanette, who was extremely communicative (both over phone and email). She worked with us to make sure everything would be set for our afternoon. Tom was our Safety Officer and he was awesome! The time he spent with us was very personable. I half expected the S.O. to just make a presence, but that wasnt the case. Tom stood up there with us the entire time, helping each one of us perfect our aim and teaching us valuable lessons. We couldnt have asked for a better S.O.! The prices are very reasonable as well. This place is definitely worth additional visits. Check them out!

Really enjoyed ourselves. Guns need cleaned. Sights adjusted. Other than that, we spent hours and came out under what we expected it to cost.

Before you hold ANY firearm they make you watch a video about gun safety and the do’s and don’ts in the range. They have SEVERAL firearms to try out and targets choose from. I had a BLAST testing out several different guns and firing a few rounds with my brother. I DEFINITELY recommend this place to everyone.

They lost a 2 part gun sale tonight. A tall man claiming to be the owner would not show us the gun we wanted to see, and said he had the perfect gun for my mother because it was an EZ .380 S&W. After watching him cycle the gun incorrectly not once but twice to show her the ease of the web safety and trigger pull, I decided to step in and help MY Mother and correct him. He proceeded to tell me that I should just take over and make the gun sale. She liked the gun and asked to see a 410. He told her she does not want a 410, she should but a 20 gauge instead. My mother liked the .380 but because of his poor customer service I told her we should look around. He got angry and told me I should get an FFL and sell guns. I should have know that this place was a dive after driving through the parking filled with crater sized pot holes that damaged my rims on my m5, and seeing that it looked like an 1980s run down shopping center. Inside looked like a run down pawn shop. I feel bad for all customers that have to shop here, as the salespeople, selection and cleanliness of this place was a joke. I tried helping my mom out, and it looks like I will be taking her to Scheels in Springfield. But if you like ignorant sales people and horrible customer service and want to feel like you just stepped into the ghetto in the south side of Chicago, this would be the place to go.

Havent used their range yet but good place to find some gear needed a speed loader and they had it and more in stock.

The staff are helpful and courteous.They were multitasking very well on a very busy couple night. Mike ( if he looks like a cop, its because he is) was an excellent and helpful range officer. Including helping my son with his shot each time he came thru doing lane checks. I will be back for sure well worth my 30 minute drive from Pekin.

This is not your grandpa’s fudd filled gun range. They actually have a very good selection of solid firearms and accessories, and even carry TCCC approved medical gear, a major high point in my book. Their clothing selection is primarily aimed at law enforcement, but I was still very impressed with their selection. It was far better and more modern than I was expecting. The staff was friendly and helpful, and my initial impressions of them were that they weren’t spewing classic gun counter bull. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll be sure to stop in again.

Huge selection, great staff, and love the range.

Everything here is very nice and clean. It’s a nice place to purchase gear, but not to shoot. The indoor range is extraordinarily hot. You’ll sweat like you’re in a sauna. Also, watch out for this one crazy range officer.There’s this one range officer who’s a toxic, rude, condescending jerk. He likes to patronize customers and doesn’t listen. He forgot which range lane he put me on. When I was done he thought he put me on a certain lane and I corrected him for liability reasons. Then he took that personally, got offended, and started shouting at me. His face got all red as he trembled with fury. I wasn’t going to argue with an angry, armed man. I just paid and left. This guy was nuts.I reported him to the staff via email, but was ignored. I will never shoot here again. He is a middle-aged, bearded, white male with a thin build. He seems to also have a serious problem with minorities. The rest of the staff are very kind, but this individual is a problem.

Clean place, nice selection, a bit pricey. The range is well kept and they let you borrow clean eye and hearing protection. You can also shoot an assortment of luxurious rifles. Four stars because lane 7 kept getting stuck bringing/sending my target. Had to change lanes.

This is a nice store for the firearm enthusiast. They are loaded with plenty of guns and 2 indoor ranges. My trip was to get gear for my duty belt for work. They have all kinds of apparel and gear for police, tactical, and correctional officers. Please be aware, the prices can seem a little high for some items, but what your getting will be great quality and will stand up over time. The employees are friendly and willing to help with whatever question you have.

Went to try to sell two guns and while I didnt get the price I wanted the manager there fully explained to me how he got that price never tried to pressure me into selling and even suggested switching the barrel from a 40 sw to 9mm he didnt see me as just someone else to make money of but really tried to help me. Highly recommend this place

Better know your stuff when you go in there. Range rules are very strict and only half the staff is willing to be helpful, the other half seem to only be interested in showing you that they know more than you.

CI shooting is the real deal, awesome location, great range... but for me it really comes down to the classes and programs they run like Date Night at the Range, Monday Marksman but especially and without a doubt the best thing they do is the Tuesday USPSA matches.These guys have the best selection of reloading supplies in town and great prices on them. Also if your looking at 5.11 gear you got to try it on before you buy it and they have a excellent selection, try it and buy it here.

I used to be intimidated by such a professional environment and higher end firearms. The staff here is absolutely fantastic they were kind, polite, and helpful to me while helping me through my first firearm purchase, even though it is one of the most inexpensive shotguns on the market. (Ive been shooting on their indoor range as well on separate occasions, it is very nice)TLDR:great price, great environment, great service

Training is excellent. Many instructors, and all are great at what they teach. I have taken every class (that I can) at least once. It is great to take a class, practice what was presented, and then take the class again to make sure youre doing it correctly. I just took the low light pistol class for the second time, and learned even more techniques to remain safe and prevail in a low light encounter.

Great service everytime I’ve gone. All I’ve come across are friendly. Place is clean and modern, overall better than any other place around. Just wish they were closer of a drive.

Great looking store on the inside, friendly, helpful staff and a very busy indoor range. I asked them to find me a pistol grip for a rifle i couldnt find on a Saturday, left them my number and info to call me when they found it . I received a call early Tuesday that they had found it and the price was competitive. I will definitely be back to this shop soon.

Great place to shoot when the weather is cold or rainy. There is 2 indoor ranges. One is hand gun only. The other is for rifles. Very modern, comfortable, and clean. Prices are reasonable. Nice selection of rental guns too. Check out there calendar online. Lots of different classes and events.

Great indoor range their prices are really good $16 for the whole day and you can come and go as you please. You can also bring your own pistol ammo rifle ammo you have to buy there. And a nice selection of rental guns. And a couple days a month they have date night which includes a pistol rental a box of ammo and 2 targets for I believe $25

By far the best indoor shooting range in the Bloomington-Normal area.A great place to go shooting. Being able to rent a lane for a day, leave to grab something to eat, and come back later, is a great plus. Renting lanes at an hourly rate at other ranges takes away from the fun of shooting, so I am glad they do a flat rate rental fee.The parking lot is big enough you do not have to worry about finding a spot, makes it convenient when hauling the hardware in and out of the shooting range.

Great place, lines are well lit and not as loud as some indoor ranges plus long guns kept on one side away from rimfire and handguns as much as possible. So more comfortable for shooters. One price for whole day, even if you leave to get a snack or dinner out of building youre good for the day. Some places charge by the hour so you have to watch the clock, not fun. Wish they were closer, would be here much more.

I had the best shooting experience I have ever had in any gun range. Customer service is the absolute best. Staff is expirienced, knowledgeable, and truly care about the customer. Great Store

First time here staff was great. Came to try out a few handguns they were very helpful and patient. They explained lots of different features of the side arms and had decent prices on the gun rentals.

Was NOT a fan of this place.Overpriced. Rude staff. Mediocre range...at best.P.S. no one cares that you carry a 1911!

This building is newly renovated and up to date when I went. They have tons of classes for experienced and non experienced shooter. I order my foid card here and a older man named Arte made it fairly quick and simple.

A shooting range...what is there to dislike? Lots of equipment to browse and purchase. Very helpful staff. I would like to see some sort of cafe or restaurant in here soon.
