Public welcome and I suggest you go if you are interested in unusual books about the arts and design - great gifts also and student work for sale. FOAB is nationally considered to be one of the best art bookstores. Now run by the SoAAD it is well worth supporting.

I always love visiting the Friends of Art bookstore. Theres a wide variety of art-related goodies, from fancy pens to sketchbooks to paint, as well as stationery and art books.

This is an amazing little independent university bookstore that serve the school of fine arts at Indiana University. They have snacks, soda and such, but what makes this bookstore so wonderful is the variety of art books available. From fine art to art history, comics to art theory, text books for the majority of studio art and art history classes at IU. The staff is knowledgeable and if there is something that they do not have, they will make every attempt to get it in for you. I highly recommend this little gems on the campus of Indiana University in the Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts.
