Took kids I take care of 4 and 6, they loved it. It was busy but we had a reservation which is the way to go. I had been there a long time ago but a staff nember was needed to explain the process. It was a lot of fun. Will go again!

Love Artful Designs! They are always really friendly and helpful! They also do such cool events, like Harry Potter mugs and hand/foot prints turned into holiday objects! I would definitely recommend it for all ages.

Great place to go and unwind while painting some cool pieces of pottery. Kid friendly and pretty reasonable. Weve went twice and will go back again.

Great place for creating your own things! There is so much to choose from! Banks, cups, bowls, plates, busts and so much more! Would highly recommend for couples, families, individuals, teams...basically anyone! We did have to keep asking questions as we had never been there before but they were always super nice and didnt make us feel silly. It would be nice if the person that was working with her had been out when people came in so multiple ppl were cared for timely and didnt have to wait. I didnt realize someone was there until I saw them come out of storage room. Girl at check in/check out was awesome and did great keeping up with multiple demand. Highly recommend!

A fun outing for all ages! It can be a bit expensive and you have to return a week later to pickup your creation. We received a bit of instruction as it was our first time in years. However, we werent told to clean our item before painting and the introduction seemed like it was lacking. An instruction sheet on each table would be a useful reminder or a rehearsed checklist for the worker to go over with you before starting. I had a hard time finding something to paint, but only because I was looking for something functional that I would actually use or something that matched my decor specifically.

Little pricy, would suggest doing more than one item to balance out the firing cost. But my daughter had fun and thats what matters

We hosted our 6 year olds birthday party here with 10 of her friends. The staff was very kind, helpful, and attentive. The party room is quite large to accommodate space for painting, as well as tables for gifts, food, and personal belongings. Prices are very reasonable. We are excited to visit again.

I usually love this place, but they charged me 20.00 for an item that was clearly marked 18.00 when I asked they told me that piece is 20.00 and the tag still says 18.00?????

Fun place to paint, especially on a cold winter day! They will offer help or advice to those who ask. Classes are also a great way to paint something that I couldnt do on my own!

Every time Ive been here its been FREEZING! Dress for sub-zero temps and bring hand warmers to use while waiting for coats of paint to dry. I think we asked to turn the heat up 3 times and were once told youll be sweating here in a few minutes! by one of the apparent employees, she was a young heavy set woman who seemed to basically just come in to eat fast food paint some pottery and tell a couple employees about some reviews the gossip and chat before disappearing. She couldnt have been more wrong though!I continued to shiver, have goose bumps and purple & numb hands from the cold. When I got home and took my shoes off at the door my toes were red and ice cold still! The warmest it ever got was 70 on the thermostat right buy the kiln door, after they opened the kiln room door for a while, which I had requested much earlier when they said the kiln was on. Previously the thermostat was reading 66, AFTER they told us they turned it up at least twice.The tiny little Asian girl that works there has been kind of rude and unhelpful in the past, and this time was no exception. She also checked a woman out telling her it was 2 for 1 studio fee that day, but when we checked out hours later the employees had changed and the deal was actually the following day so they wouldnt honour it.The employees are hard to find when you have questions, they always seem to be hanging out in the back room, probably because its warm there, or talking to one another in a corner with their backs turned. This has been the case the last few years. They also spelled my mums name wrong after she spelled it multiple times, she doesnt have a complicated first name and doesnt have a strange accent either.They used to have the fine tip bottles and stencils out for you to get on your own, but now theyre behind the front counter so you have to wait for someone to show their face, or try to get their attention, before you can look for, or ask for what you want/need. I do like the silkscreen options though!I dont know if they changed suppliers, but now pottery is stamped with MADE IN CHINA on the bottom and it doesnt come off! Kind of takes away from the handmade one of a kind feel, or ability to write dates or messages on the bottom. Speaking of which, good luck finding a relatively sharp pencil to write on the bottom apparently yeah, no one likes to sharpen them because theyre not like regular lead. Umm, excuse me? Im sorry but thats a pretty lame excuse! I sharpened them all while I was there, YOURE WELCOME!Their selection of pieces has also changed, the last couple times it seems I havent been able to find what Ive wanted and they get rid of something so fast, never to be seen again. Its buy it then or not at all. You can always bring it back and paying it later.I give them HUGE PROPS on the 2 Jewish items they had though! Although this town has a small Jewish population its nice to see something for those of us non-Christians. Now if they would have stopped playing the Christian pop music in the background...This place was so much better several years ago, when I was still living in town, and the owner was around more. Not so impressed in later years, but I think its the only place in town here.

I arrived to pick up previously painted pottery 5 minutes before posted closing time and had the door locked in my face. I drove across town to pick up my pottery only to be disrespected.
