My 3 year old had a blast! We were there for about 3 hours! So many activities to keep them busy. Although playing with the play-doh there was fun I recommend using a coin to bring one home too. Its soft and fun. They play ground area is closed because of covid. Also they did an amazing job at keeping space and cleaning things. 1 family per an activities table and the supplies you need for other things are pre packed and given to you in your bag. Right now a mask is required and all stuff needs to go into a clear bag. Also they do cashless transactions so pay online or bring a card.

Large beards heads up. They dont allow Neck Gaitors as a viable face mask. Yet every where else does. It makes no sense to tell me I have to wear a regular face mask when it wont sit properly and form with my beard. Part of their mask rule is your mask cant have any gaps. If I were to wear a regular one I would have massive gaps. But a neck gaitor covers my whole face and beard forming a full barrier... it just doesnt make sense. I feel terrible for my niece and nephew who were very excited for me to go with them.

This is a wonderful place to take your child and even for an adult to have a great experience. You can spend multiple hours here at different stations doing many tasks together. Worth of visit at least once its a little pricey. But you can find discounts to help trim those costs. Around $20 per person but the multitude of things you can spend time on, theyve done a wonderful job.

Crayola used to be a super fun place for kids and my boy used to love it as well. When we went there last Wednesday afternoon, there were barely any customers, and most of the workers were so mean and unfriendly as if they were getting fired tomorrow. I had to remind myself (maybe they were very unstable on their jobs) not to bring any complaints on their faces. However, I do not think their less enthusiasm should be expressed in such manners. Crayola was still a fun place, but I came out with an extremely uncomfortable feeling and will not return ever again (even with the free pass I purchased already)We were at the scribble scrubbies section and wondered around (of course there was nobody to help us). 4-5 people were chatting at the corner, and one of them got to us with a super annoying face. He threw two hamsters scrubbies on us and said, “I can’t replace it with others since I already took these out’ and he walked back to his chatting group at the corner. It would have been very nice if he asked us what we would like at first. I had to remind myself (maybe he was losing his job soon). We were at the design section where you color things and they would be on the big screen. We wandered around again, and one of the chatting group people came to us with an extremely annoying face and threw one paper at us and got back to the chatting group. She did not ask if we knew what to do in there and did not even ask what theme we wanted. She randomly grabbed one for us without a word and hurried herself back to the group. I had to remind myself again (maybe she was losing her job soon).Almost every section we went through, our experience was similar. Either nobody was there, or they hated to be bothered. I hope their business gets better, but it does not seem bright at all.

Crayola Experience at Mall of America had a LOT more to do than I expected! You walk in and purchase your tickets, and/or head to the entrance line. The label maker machines were first up. You got to pick your color crayon, and customize a name to put on the label!Just past that entrance way, there is a dark room with 2 dancing crayon screens, that copy your moves. There is also an interactive projector onto the floor where you can step on bubbles and play games.Walking in a bit further, there are clay vending machines. They have many colors to choose from (purple, blue, red, green, etc), then you have tables to sit at to form your own creations, using tools. There are also coloring sheets provided at the nearby tables to just color.Further in, there melted spray crayon designing areas, a toddler and big kid playground area, a little cafe, melted crayon object makers (we made car shape and seahorse shape), and more.Theres a counter to purchase Scribble Scrubbies and tables to sit and color, wash off, and re-color. Theres even more that I cant think of at the moment, as we went in December of 2019, and I forgot to leave my mark here :). Overall, a lot of fun activities for kids of all ages to do, and it does make it worth the price. We ended up staying about 2 hours in total before our 2- and 4-year-olds were tired.

This place is a must stop if you have young kids. We spent 5 hours here and didnt even do all the exhibits. My son loved naming crayons, so did my husband... the spin art was cool. We all enjoyed the animation walls. There is even a playground inside. There were presentations that were fun. Oh! We got to put ourselves in a coloring page! That was my favorite. There is a place to eat, but we just ate in the mall. So much fun, totally worth the price. Buy tickets online to save a couple bucks. So worth!

You get 2 per child with admission and can buy more at kiosk or snack stand. You also receive a scribble pet voucher for 1 free pet. Other activities are free including spin art, making a shape crayon, making a photo page and several other interactive stations.

We have visited about four times and also had our daughters birthday party here. I really like this place. A lot of different activities for the kids, as well as a play area for both smaller and bigger kids. And if you have the annual family pass its pretty much a free trip. Its just that I dont think the cafe has ever been open when we go and we are almost always there during lunch hours. Really that is the only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five

This was a ton of fun and well worth the experience. They have things for sell on the inside to add to your experience which I found unappealing since we had to pay to get in and then pay for additional things if wanted to Participate in that activity. Other than that it was a lot of fun and we enjoyed ourselves. Would 0lan on bring cash for tokens and and or other purchases if you choose to participate on some extra activities.

We just picked up annual passes for the family and I went for the first time with my 5yo who had been before. It was a pretty busy there as it was a school release day so lots of people. Lines never got too bad and flow around the place kept crowds spaced out. We had a ton of fun with the variety of activities to do there. Overall I thought the staff was helpful and friendly. Only complaint was there were several areas where machines for the activities were down. (Molding machines and make your own labels) it probably wouldnt have been an issue if it werent so busy. It was fun for the kids ages 3, 4 and 5, but even at the Groupon rate of $15/person (adults required to pay too) I felt like it wasnt worth it. The fun we had melting a few crayons to make a car or ring shape, spin art, liquid crayon paintings, making drawings dance, seeing how crayons are made and several other activities didnt justify the price. Still had fun, spent 3 hours there, but expected more... it was fun and clean, but Nickelodeon universe was more of a hit for our crew. After reading that some of the 3D rides in the mall were kitchy, we decided to do this with our remaining Tier A experience on our 3 Day Mall Entertainment pass. As two adults, some of the experiences werent fun for us, but we really enjoyed the hands on wax melting activities, the show about how they make crayons, and creating our own crayons. Ive read at other Crayola Experiences that the staff can give side glances to adults without kids, but the staff here was so friendly to us and didnt give us a second look. My only complaint is that a lot of the machines were broken, and the poor staff had no idea how to fix them.

Crayola melting and coloring galore! My daughter loved getting the scribble scrubbies, the spin melting station and the bouncing crayons in the playscape. We are glad the summer camps made a long line to make/wrap your own crayon at the front....it allowed us to stumble upon the modeling clay machines. We used all our coins for getting all different colors of clay instead. I wish it was clear up front that everyone, including adults require an admission. Fortunately we did get a groupon to save some $$s on admission otherwise I feel regular admission is not worth it. I could see the memberships being valuable if you regularly visited and a gem of a space for preschool/early elementary age.

All in all a fun place for the kids, however more could be done to streamline the layout so it flows better. Everything is in one large area, which I believe make for Chaos as a family with four kids such as our has to attempt to corral all the kids to one station as their attention veers toward another station. But overall a good place for the kids to burn energy.

Went a year and a half ago, and then again today. And I have to say this place is falling apart and in huge disrepair and no communication of closings anywhere. Half of the machines where you can print your own custom crayon have been removed, and multiple of the feeders were out of order. You could pick blue, or orange. Kids favorite color purple? What you gonna do? And then when we got to the line to buy tickets, asked the guy about the factory show and he said it was available while they are open. Were hunting for the factory then a worker shouts across the room its been closed all day. Why does no on at the front counter know??? Next we went to take a photo at the station where you can print a coloring page of yourself. Half of the machines had buttons that wouldnt start the camera, so we had to keep switching between benches to find one that worked. There were a couple other things but I cant remember them ,just mostly it seemed horribly understaffed as well.

Fun place for kids to take a break and chill out from walking for a little while and be creative. Has a gym area as well to let them blow off steam climbing around while you take a load off. Somewhat expensive, but theres usually a Groupon you can grab to get it cheaper, so make sure to check there if you didnt prep ahead of time. If you do pay full price (or maybe even if you dont) it is only a few bucks more for the annual pass, so if you live in the area you might as well get that and then you can drop in anytime youre at MoA and need a break. Also kind of nice so you dont feel pressured or rushed to try to do everything there in a single visit.
