First time coming here, the Lake was nice joined a small Birthday party, everything was well kept, the main bathrooms were closed so Porta Johns are what is available. The Splash pad was not on, which was okay, and more than understandable. There was a food truck, which was a bonus since most county fairs, and the Great Minnesota get together are cancelled so far. We did have to pay a $10 fee for a temporary parking tag, if we werent residents of the area. They took cash or card. All in all a great time, beautiful weather, and lots a laughs. Priceless!

We love this place! The people are friendly, the beach is clean. No seaweed or rocks in the water. The no inflatables rule is dumb, but everything else is cool here. Theres beach patrol, food truck, playground, shade areas and great sand beach.

Nice clean beach with a splash pad, nice big playground and so Much activity space. Has a walking trail, volleyball courts. Im pretty sure in non covid times they rent out kayaks and paddle boats. They also have a shelter area for rent, but probably not with Covid.

Nice neighborhood park with a childrens play area, pavilion, volleyball court, walking trails along the lake, a beach, public restrooms, concession stand, and a water play area with jets of water that shoot from the pavement. It also has an immense parking lot. The trails connect with a series of trails extending around the lake

Theres so many things to do like hanging out at the beach, and or splash pad. Playing at the park, Walk along the trails, fishing off the dock. You can even rent canoes are kayaks during the day. Personally my husband and I like to bring our own kayaks and just go around the lake or go out and fish. Surprisingly with the lake being in the middle of a bigger suburb its nice and relaxing. Surprising its relatively quiet and on hot days the lake water so warm

Fun spot to swim and play in the sand. The water is fairly shallow for the little ones, however there are no lifeguards so it is swim at your own risk. Theres a splash pad to run next to the beach along with bathrooms right there too! There are a lot of trees for shade which is fantastic. The playground is a lot of fun. Theres also a small fishing dock with kayak rentals and a small concession area.

Lakeside is a great place to be your friends and family. If you go after 5 pm, parking is free and the summer weather is much cooler, making the beach experience that much better! They have lots to do, from the splash pad, to the playground and Park area. They also have kayak rentals and concessions.

Its your average park. You arent allowed to bring floats into the water (per lifeguard), which I find counterintuitive. We had to drive over to circle pines in order to be able to swim with the floats that we had just purchased.

Great park for kids. Fountains are the highlight of this place. Kids have fun everytime. Only thing is the dock is extremely dangerous for kids to be on. My little niece fell into the water a few days ago.

Ch
Review №62

The layout of the park isnt the greatest for families with multiple kids. Hard to see some of your kids at the playground and your other kid at the beach at the same time. The playground is between the beach and the parking lot so you really want to keep your eye on them. Safe area, but you really NEVER know when something may happen sadly. Other then that its a nice, clean, and fun beach worth the trip. Just nice to have another adult with you to watch the kiddos.

Well-kept city park with small pavillion shelter, benches, tables and bbq stands. Indoor bathrooms. Tons of free parking.Sand-beach swimming area; no regular lifeguard on duty.Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the park area and skateboarding, rollerskating, and bicycling on park paths is prohibited. On Tuesday (during the summer) afternoons and evenings the park hosts a farmers market, free live music and food vendors.A few restaurants (a couple have beer/wine/liquor) within walking distance; some with lake views and/or outdoor service.Great boat launch. Two concrete ramps and two 100 docks to line boats along and tie up while loading/unloading.No public slips or mooring buoys. Rock rip-rap park shoreline is not conducive to shore landing or tie-ups.Ample trailer maneuvering space and a lot of dedicated vehicle/trailer parking. More parking (on street) about 2-3 blocks away.No supplies (fuel, ice, beverages, bait, etc.) in direct vicinity; bait & tackle shops and convenience stores within a couple miles.Private boat club/rental marina adjacent to public launch.

The best park in Blaine! The beach is beautiful, theres a splash-pad and playground for the kids, a sand volleyball court, plenty of grass ares for recreation or a picnic, and theyve just doubled the number of parking spaces. You do need a parking permit sticker for your car, but its free for Blaine residents. Pick up the permit at Blaine city hall. I only wish it was open later in the summer.

Decent play area and beach just east of 65/Central in Blaine. Theyve added parking in recent years, which is nice. Blaine residents can get a free sticker to gain entrance. The main drawbacks are that it is often crowded (what beach isnt in the summer?) and the lake is a bit on the small side.
