I looked for 3D games to play with my family. I couldnt find any during my time there. We may have overlooked them. There was a minor issue with the table needing to be cleaned that was quickly resolved by the courteous staff. I would definitely give it 5 stars if your location added 3D family games. We will return in the future. Everything else was excellent. We enjoyed our meals. Staff and service were great.

We ate and played games. Family Guy bowling is fun. Everything was good and our waiter was very accommodating. The jerrasic world virtual ride was absolutely awesome. Drinks are made well but pricey, only reason for four stars.

This one is smaller than Im used to, but it was still fun. I like that some games were blocked off to promote social distancing. There is a good variety of games for players of all ages. Ticket redemption was fast and easy. I like that our phones could be used in place of the token cards.

Had fun here. Games are pretty standard of the arcade type with some app inspired games available like Subway Surfers or Flappy Bird! Prices are pretty decent. I’ve eaten at other D&B’s but have not had the pleasure of trying this particular locations cuisine. However I did have a Margarita (which was really good) sitting at the bar watching the football game with other football fans.

Customer service horrible!!! Out of all the Dave & Buster’s I’ve been too this Birmingham location was the worst!!! I’ve been to three in Georgia, one in Louisiana, and one in Tennessee. It started with the waitress, and ended with the manager. Y’all need to teach them some customer service classes! The lady manager was great, and the waiter dee sent to my table. I definitely won’t be spending my money where it’s not wanted! To think my kids and I made special trips just visit the different locations.

Great place. Starting off with the bad stuff would be the game machines would sometimes glitch out. They would take your credits but won’t allow to play. But then the game techs are there on the double, resolving the issues and being there for us which was amazing. Great cleanliness, there’s a staff member going around and wiping off games constantly and reminding everyone to keep their mask on. They have alcohol based hand sanitizer everywhere for you to use. Games were fun, the environment was very relaxing yet exciting. Lights are dimmed to create a gaming vibe. Overall loved it.

Arcade was awesome and had good fun games for adults and kids. Prizes catered to both as well. The food service was absolutely horrible. Our waitress had an attitude and acted like we werent worth her time to serve. We were one of the first people there when they opened and took an hour just to get our food. Ridiculous. The burger wasnt very big. Was half the size of the bun. Wont eat there again.

Felt like a kid as usual. food was amazing as always, the hot wings were extremely hot, tried them for the first time..NEVER AGAIN to HOT for me....lol the husband and kids loved them though they enjoy super hot food. Because of COVID-19 I was sad to see a limited menu selection. I will eat before we go next time until the full menu returns..smh I hope it will return to normal soon Overall I still highly recommend Dave & Busters Gallery Blvd at the Mall. Food & Fun for the Family!

Since I didnt go to play Ill just be commenting on the restaurant. The food was some of the best Ive ever had at an arcade style place. They have chefs that can cook a burger so that its pink on the inside, its stunning really. Possibly better than some dedicated burger places Ive been to. Certainly a great place to go to catch up with friends and watch some sports.

The bad- a few games glitched but staff was easy to find and they addressed the issue and we still had fun! I gotta say I was blown away with the military discount! I will return because of it and eat next time. The arcade was a lot of fun and had a wide variety of games to play. We drove a little over an hour to spend time here. We plan on trying the food next time and staying a bit longer. The arcade was clean and it was a good experience.

Great food, fun games. We had a good family day out. It can get pricey, but we all had fun and got full bellies.Wasnt very busy due to people being scared to leave the house. Take advantage of that!

I was celebrating my 40th birthday with my husband. Our waitress was very patient, friendly, helpful. Her name was Zay Zay I think. She made us feel real welcome. The drinks were made perfectly. Overly loud with acoustics seemingly designed to amplify the cacophony, it feels more like a sports book in a low-end Vegas casino than it does a restaurant. The food can be good if you carefully look at what youre ordering. Search for and download the PDF version of the menu because the one they encourage you to look at via QR code is much smaller and extremely misleading.

Third time in a row the place is full of kids. This time a birthday party. NOT FOR ADULTS..

Nice atmosphere, our server was really fast and attending even though he was serving another huge party. Really clean and social distancing was ensured.

Game play was pretty awesome. They dont require mask even though a sign on the door states they are mandatory. The sirloin steak dinner was not worth what it cost and was not cooked as ordered. I couldnt even finish. Under staffed for the sports section. But game play pretty awesome. I do like that every other game was closed for social distance for the most part but games that you need a partner on sucked lol. Overall, I would suggest the gameplay but next time I will eat before going.

Due to coronavirus some games could not play. Ordered food which took approximately 45 minutes before the lukewarm food came to the table. Went to the womens restroom it was nasty. Toilets backed up with toilet paper and not flush. The sink did have soap to wash hands. Even if that was so the water at the sink did come out. Very displeased after I spent over an $100.00 for the games for my grandchildren and friends.

Great for a first date. They serve food, and the games are great for a challenge. I like that there isnt 400 babies running around.

Had a good time. The games were fun. NOW lets talk about the food. The philly sliders and chicken tender combo IS NOT A GOOD CHOICE. The sliders were dry... no tomatoes, mayo, or condiments were given until we begged 2 waitresses that walked by. They did not give us any silverware until we begged. We got no refills on our lemonade. And the French fries portion was laughable. We will definitely go back to play the games but well probably pass on the food next time.

Been to several Dave & Busters locations over the years. This location is the best. Huge game room. One of the biggest I’ve seen yet. Amazing selection of games. Sports bar tv areas are awesome too. Food very good. Friendly staff.

Great food, lots of games for whole family, just a fantastic family outing. I have a 9 yr old and a 3 yr old and they were both happy the entire trip.

Fun place and we were surprised by how good the food was.

The arcade was really fun. My triple bacon burger was good but others in my party had to wait over an hour for their food, only to finally get it and it was still incorrect. We also heard the waitress say she couldnt bring anymore drinks over to our table when the waitress hadnt even refilled my drink at all. It was fun, but the food part of the experience needs upgrading. We also heard, they ran out of food as they gave my son mac n cheese with NO cheese. They can do better.

This was my first visit and it was by far the worst experience I’ve had at a arcade style place. The food we ordered was cold and it took almost an hour to get to us. And the waitress kept ignoring the fact that my drink needed a refill as well all while she refilled others and even my sisters drink too!! Probably will go back for the games but definitely not for the food or drinks.

Today was our first opportunity to visit the new Birmingham location and we were pleased. The staff were friendly, the service was good and everything seemed clean. Weve been to other locations but its nice to have one close to home. As long as everything remains this nice, we will be back.

I purchased 8 Dave and Buster New Year Eve package. I understood that it wasnt a buffet per say but, they didnt have enough food to feed the people that still havent eaten or they would run out of food about the time you would get up to try to fix you a plate. I figured if you are paying $54 per person you should have enough food to feed enough adults. The idea concept was good but, the execution was not good. The DJ was good and the servers was trying to do their best but, for $54 a person things should have went better than it did. I would have giving more stars but, the games was good as usual.

My first visit to the Birmingham location. Must say, I was impressed. Especially after such a big letdown from the Atlanta location. Servers were very nice. Food was decent. Games were loved by the kids. Very nice set up overall.

If you haven’t been to Dave and Busters in Birmingham yet then you must make it a priority to go. When you get there you’ll find one of the best places in town to watch sports, play games, and eat fantastic food. There are huge TV’s everywhere which will undoubtedly have your game of choice on. They have a wide selection of draft and bottled beer along with any mixed drink you can think of served at one of the largest bars in Birmingham. With regard to their menu, you can choose from a wide variety of fairs like Fire Grilled Salmon, Street Tacos, loaded Nachos, Wings, tender Baby Back Ribs, and the list goes on. The game room is perfect for both kids and adults. Everyone will find games they love to play. There isn’t another place in town that compares. My experience with the staff on multiple visits has been five stars. They are always courteous, attentive, and work hard to make sure you have the very best dining experience. Each time I’ve been there I’ve had the pleasure of speaking to a member of management when they came to visit our table. Josh, the GM does a fabulous job running the show along with his assistants Ken, and Sam to name a few. While I was there on different dates I never observed these guys doing anything but having a laser focus on customer satisfaction! Impressive to say the least. So, in conclusion, Dave and Buster’s is my go to spot to watch sports, have dinner, and take the kids for fun. No matter the occasion, I can assure you this place will deliver a great experience! I’m looking forward to my next visit.

No direct connection to the Mall is a shame. There is not even a walkway from any of the Mall entrances. When we found our way to DB, one of the automatic doors didnt work and the security guy on the inside just smiled while watching me.4 employees in the entrance area but no explanation, no greetings, just intimidating stares. What do you have to do to play? Where is the line to be seated. Why are there so many screaming kids? What is the ticket counter for? Why cant I get a beverage? I might try again after 6 months when novelty dies down, they realize that an entrance from the Mall is nice, and staff is trained.

I love this place me my wife and 2 daughters went and let me tell you, we had a blast! It was I must say the best experience and most fun I have had in a very long time! You got a check it out! Family day went to another level!

By far the worst Dave and Buster we have ever been too. 3 of us ordered the same burger, 2 of us had our burgers made special. First burger comes out and is just placed on the table, leaving us to try and figure out who burger it is. After a while we were confused, because it wasn’t made in the original menu version or without tomatoes and it did not have bacon on it. What was taking off was lettuce and pickles, which was no one request. Now this item is sent back, then my boyfriend bistro pasta makes it out and HAS HAIR IN IT. We sat down at 730 Food started arriving at 840 It was around 845 when he had to send it back, but we are sitting at the table still at 9:36 and counting waiting on his remake that feels like it’s never going to come. The burger that was originally sent back just arrived not long ago, which was a long wait. We have asked for a manager 3 times not one has arrived to the table yet to speak with us about this disappoint. We are a party of 6 and only 2 of our orders was made correctly once arriving at the table. Manager just arrived at table 9:42 and checks on my boyfriend bistro that was been sent back and tells us the order was never put back in. So now we still have to wait on 2 meals and everyone else is done eating even the last person to receive a burger which took entirely to long. To sum it up, This has been a long night once we sat down to eat. Went from supposed to being a fun night to us hoping we made the drive to GA instead.................10:06 last 2 plates just arrived this is horrible service.

My family had the pleasure of enjoying games and food at Dave & Busters on a Sunday night. We were assigned a particular server as we sat down who was quite busy. A server by the name of Eric took it upon himself to ask if we would like to order our drinks while we waited on our server. Once we received our drinks Eric continued to check on us although we werent sitting at one of his tables. Thanks Eric and thanks Dave &Busters for employing a friendly person like Eric.

Dont go here for food. I thought the first time I went was a fluke on the food. I had a cheeseburger and tater tots. Burger was okay. Tots were cold like they had been in a refrigerator.Went there yesterday had chicken tacos. The chicken was cold and the chips that came with the meal were way too salty. I have never seen so much salt on chips. My son had the philly cheesecake, The meat was cold. I enjoyed the games my son and I had a great time, I will not ever eat there again.

This weekend was our first time to a Dave and Busters & we had so much fun. Our waiter was a young man named Dallas. He was terrific. He was a very genuine, charming & polite young man. Great attitude. We will be coming back soon.

My boyfriend took me here for date night. Honestly I am big fan of Dave and Busters but we didnt want to go because of the bad reviews. We walked in and it wasnt as busy as we thought for a Saturday night. We were able to play all the games and we didnt have to wait long at the bar for drinks. We will definitely be back soon.

Had a birthday get together for my brother, we didnt plan an event or anything. Just showed up with 17 people and they were super accommodating and made up a section for us. Also food is fantastic and a fair price, and the games are super fun as well. Highly recommend

It was overall average. Our appetizer went to the wrong table and when it did come was cold. The cheese sauce had also broken and was gritty. Then the entrees were just okay. The waffle chicken sandwich was probably the best of the evening. Our waitress started off friendly when we were seated, but didnt seem as friendly the rest of the dinner. The environment was as you would expect. They were playing Christmas music on New Years Eve, which was somewhat annoying. The drinks from the bar were well made. We may try to return another day to see if it will be any better.

The Waiter was rude. He didnt want to get my drink fixed the way I asked, all I wanted was a double. He was also giving my date an issue about a Military discount, that had served 10 years, (First Date). Then He started sweeping around us, while we were eating. Completely unfriendly. The Girls behind the bar were cussing. I understand restaurant work, I did it on and off for 15 years. That was ridiculous! However! The place and games were fun and we ended up having a great time AFTER we ate. The staff is terrible though.

Went to watch the Alabama game today #Rolltide and had a great experience. Our server Kendall was very busy but very attentive. The manager Melissa was very friendly and helpful as well. She stopped by to chat with us a few times. She seemed very busy but found the time to make us feel welcome. We didn’t play games this time but can’t wait to come back and enjoy the arcade

We had an excellent time. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, drinks were ice cold and the games were fun. Highlights include the fried dumplings, beef satay and the salted caramel brownie. Sliders were excellent too. As far as the games go, the Star Wars pod, Rambo, Halo and the Jurassic World VR were all a blast. Skee ball and basketball were awesome too. Seriously, this is a great destination for family fun or a date night. Im thankful D&B has landed in Hoover!

Went with friends, had a blast. Rode the virtual ride twice, the star trek was better than the Jurassic park ride. The star trek you actually felt like you were really floating in space. Very cool experience.

My family love going here! Theres so much to do and the games are changed out so the next time we go there might be different games. Its a great place to take kids of all ages. The only downside is it can get really crowded.

I really have an issue with poor customer service. My order came out wrong and the manager grabbed the plate from our waitress, Anna, who was very sweet and trying to correct the issue. However, Josh, one of the managers didn’t allow her to correct it. Instead, he took the plate and returned 10 minutes later, and it was still incorrect. I spoke with another manager, Melissa, who was even more rude than Josh. She took the food and failed to accommodate me in any type of way. The waitress, Anna, was really nice. More people like her are needed in customer service. However, I cannot say the same for the management team. This issue could have been resolved if they had taken the time to listen. One Unhappy Customer..

My wife planned my 30th birthday party here. It was on a Tuesday night (2-18-2020). We had never set foot in the place. We decided to not rent a room and just call and give the restaurant a heads up that around 45-50 people were coming. When we arrived they had roped off a section for us. Our wait staff was phenomenal (Yvonne and trey) I believe were our primary 2. They were quick and friendly. The food and drinks were awesome. Thanks again for making me feel older lol.

We came yesterday around 1230-1pm and it was kinda busy. But we still had a great time. We couldnt have asked for better service. Dallas took excellent care of us. He was very genuine & friendly, with a fun personality.

Best experience hands down in Hoover! Thanks for being D&B here. Now I don’t have to drive all the way to Atlanta with my grandkids. Waiter was sweet as can been, food was delicious and HOT, games were fun and everyone was so welcoming. One suggestion though.....please put up signs directing people to the bathrooms. They’re very far away.

Went for my son’s birthday. I would say the negative reviews are probably spot on. You aren’t helped when you first walk in. The wait for the food is long but what makes it worse is youre just sitting there looking crazy. They should offer some bread or something to do while you wait. Once I ordered the waiter was nice but it was a while before I saw him again. We went on a Wednesday so games were half off and that was fine. The worse of all things mentioned was the dirty dining table. IT WAS DIRTY!! Hair was on it and the napkins. I was disgusted and for that reason will probably not eat there again. And yes the food looks good on the menu but it is mediocre. Not trying to bash them because it is a great spot for kids and teens but good gosh there seems to be a pattern here in regards to service and sanitation.

Fun but game play times are a little short

This location was very spacious with a great variety of games. The game floor was clean as well. The environment was also very nice. Me and family went around 8pm on a Sunday and it wasnt crowded at all. The only drawback was the restroom. They were very unclean and after telling an associate they still werent cleaned over an hour later. Im not sure if they were short staffed in this area, but other than that we had a blast.

We came out last and have a blast. We kinda nervous due to the current situation. Staff was great, building was clean. They had some one walking around cleaning the games and doors. Bar staff was amazing btw!!!

Overall the visit was great! No mall entrance so we had to walk around. Manager apologized when we came in and told him it was our first time and we had to walk. Gave us our first two game cards on him! Place was busy but organized. Great place for kids and to relax from holiday shopping.
