A bar area to purchase pizza & your favorite beverage to take in the theater. Popcorn & soft drinks have self-serve free refills! Reclining seats that you can press the button to heat!

Finally got a chance to see a movie at Birminghams newest luxury theater. The entrance was sparkly and new, with easy to use kiosks, and friendly counter service. We came specifically to try out the D-box seats. The movie was Ford vs Ferrari. First the theater was great, the movie was great, but... the D-box seats were more gimmick than effective. They did nothing to enhance the movie. The short response is, I would go to this theater any time, but would not waste the extra money on the D-box seats.

Seriously impressive movie theater! While the ticket prices are a bit high I still feel its worth it. Got a simple cheese pizza and was not let down, not stale and plenty of extras included. The isles in the actual theaters are super wide, no more dreading getting up to go the restroom in the dark.

Really nice theater! I loved the reclining seats. The food delivery the theater was great as well. I wish the seats were heated. The staff was new but manager seemed very nice and willing to assist. I hope this theater will keep nice employees.

Excellent movie theater. Very wide rows and comfortable seats. You can lean back so far youre practically laying down and can still have unobstructed view of the screen. Good popcorn and screen quality.

I love the fact that every seat has an actual recliner and that there is plenty of space to move in and out of each row, even when everyone has their footrest up! Also, each seat has a small table for snacking. The food options are amazing - pizza, nachos, pretzels, etc. plus unlimited refills on popcorn and sodas!

Great experience! Dinner, drinks & comfy kickback recliners make movie attendance here an enjoyable experience. Its not haute cuisine, but its not sneaking McDonalds in to the theatre either. Its expensive as one might imagine at a movie theater. They have a full bar of expensive drinks, expensive as in movie theater prices for drinks, so bring your wallet, her wallet, their wallet, maybe a note from the bank regarding the line of credit or second mortgage you got to attend this movie. Joking aside, its not cheap. Im not going to say, but worth it bc that is for an individual to decide. For me, sure, worth it bc it was a treat and not something I would do regularly. Good for date nights, first dates or special occasions. If your goal is to see a movie a more traditional theater may be a better fit. Not bc the sound or screen was bad, on the contrary, they were great! Large screen, crisp visuals, & great sound system make the movie come alive. All Im saying is, if you dont care about having a alcoholic beverage or food on a table tray in front of you while you recline and watch a movie, then go to a cheaper theater. There was 2 of us, we had 6 wings & 12 pizza, 2 beers, 2 mixed drinks and watched the movie for about $120. There are cheaper alternatives to dinner & a movie. Not bad, just expensive.

This movie theater experiences was amazing. The screen was huge. I enjoyed every bit of the largest screen in Alabama. Now, I wish the seats were a little bit bigger thats way I gave it four stars. However, you cant beat the experiences. Now, let me not forget the unlimited refills for all drinks and slashie. Kids invited to a party there for Frozen 2. Good pizza at the party. But one of the best features of this theater is free refills on popcorn and soda. I don’t go to a lot of movies but I don’t remember any theaters doing free refills. Seats reclined and were quite comfortable. The sound quality was powerful. We had a blast.

Great movie-going experience. Super nice facility with roomy, comfortable seating that works. The aisles are wide and easy to navigate. Highly recommend. The big screen is awesome.

We had a great time at the movie. New Pilgrim Seniors attended the movie. Their were about 40 members in attendance. The movie was very good. The building is very nice. We enjoyed there reclining chairs.

I loved this place. The Food was great. The people working at the theater were the best ever. I had to change a movie time for a ticket that I purchased online and management check availability for my new time and was able to make the change seamlessly. This is the best theater that I have ever attended in my life...I been to Disney World and this is what it felt like to me.

Brand new theater and still smells like a brand new car! Great recliner seating and the DBOX seat moving feature is very well done. Employees are nice, smiley and very helpful. Easy access to main highways, this theater will not disappoint!

Large and nicely decorated lobby and hallways, with a bar and hot food counter. Comfortable and large recliner-style electric seats and great sound and screen. Roomy aisles between rows for emergency exit to restroom.

Have only been two two movies there but both were bad experiences. I’ve never had so many issues at a theater - and I’ve been to the dollar theater a lot, and this one is supposed to be “luxury”! First movie you could hear all the loud noises from the theater next door the entire time. It really took away from the experience of that movie which had a lot of quiet scenes. The second movie, they accidentally left a light from projector which shined on half the screen for the first 10 minutes. I had to leave the movie to tell someone and missed part of the movie. Then the movie stopped twice later on, several minutes each time. When it stopped the roomlights came on. The movie then restated without warning ... but left the lights in the room on for minutes after! When we complained they eye rolled and acted like it wasn’t a big deal. No apology or anything. I would avoid this theater in the future, even if they do have reclining chairs.

My family and I have seen 6 six movies there now. We love the abilities to get our tickets in advance. Also , the food lines are faster then most other theaters. We like the overall experience.

Finally, a movie theatre I don’t want leave within the first 15 minutes! Clean, neat, great seats, perfect atmosphere, food was decent and the popcorn is amazing! Arcade, why yes and it’s not just a game or two! You have a lot of room between isles, reclining was perfect and the slope of the seating is perfect! My only 2 complaints would be that the volume could be turned up cause come on, it’s a movie theatre! My other is that my tray kept moving forward halfway and I always had to adjust it or hold it while I ate! We will definitely be back!!!

This was my second time coming here in the last two weeks and based on tonight’s experience it will likely be my last. We purchased tickets to see Queen and Slim on Thanksgiving night and left before the end of the movie due to the movie skipping throughout the movie (it started about 40 minutes into the movie). I’ve never had that type of experience in a theatre, and I am highly disappointed at the fact that I’ll have to purchase full price tickets elsewhere to see half of a movie.

Loved the theater location. The seats were a large and have electric reclining. They also have a tray that swivels. You can buy a small drink and popcorn and get up to refill as you need instead of buying a bucket and a gallon. The refills are free. The movie looked and sounded great. We will go back.

No toilet paper in ladies bathroom. Cashier with short braids and glasses having a bad day her attitude clearly gave the impression. The floor where popcorn machines were straight up dirty. The counters where drinks and paper towels werent supplied too messy. Cup tops and paper napkins everywhere. The movie went out and we had to wait for it to come back on. REALLY? It just opened. I expected way more than this. Only good thing is the supreme pizza was goid.

Awesome experience. Lots of room in the theater seats. Popcorn and drink refills are awesome. Daughter was able to stand up and stretch during the movie without disrupting anyone. We will be back.

This place is like the chick-fil-a of theaters. Staff is super friendly and helpful, the whole place is immaculately clean, the free refills on popcorn are nice and the chairs are comfy! Definitely going back even though I pass 2 other theaters on the way there.

Beautiful and new but they should make it known upfront that they don’t have stadium seats in several of the theaters. It was comfortable and very nice accommodations.

Great user experience. Not like other theaters where they force you to stand in line for everything. Got my tickets online, printed them at the kiosk, ordered popcorn and a drink and was into the theater without delay. Will definitely be back!

Cinelux puts the “Lux” in Luxurious! From the arcade up front, the quality of the food, all the way to the top quality speakers and projector equipment, they truly give that upscale theatre experience. The manager Joe and his staff are very professional, courteous, and helpful. Every time we’ve been all aspects of service have been phenomenal. Recline back and enjoy a film on the largest screens in Alabama.

First time visit, but it wont be our last! The seats recline with a footrest. Popcorn was great! Refills on sodas are free.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed visiting this theater for the first time. We both got a kick out of the self serving popcorn and nacho stations. I think the recliner seats were our favorite! A few problems we had was my recliner seat was broken and wouldnt recline so I had to move my things to another seat ..I thought this was strange because the theater had just opened a week prior. Also, it was pretty difficult finding our seat row. The letters are at the bottom of the wall instead of in plain sight... we spent too much time looking for o our seat row. I wasnt in favor of the leveling of the rows as well, could barely see the bottom of the screen...I think children would have a hard time seeing over the seats directly in front of them. This theater also has a bar. But overall, a good experience. Will be returning.

OMG!!! I really love this place, they have recliner seats and expensive seats that move. Their food is good too. The only downside is the soda machines is not like the ones in the summit movie theater, more to choose from.

Went to see Just Mercy yesterday, asked if they do $5.00 senior discount day on Tuesday, was told yes by the clerk ID 1, I was charged 18.68. When I called to question the price in question, thinking it was done in error, all I get is , no we dont do $5.00 seniors discount and Im sorry you were told that. Guess what, Im sorry too, wont be back!!!

Great place considering the fact that it’s new. Went on grand opening on Thursday night. Ordered a supreme pizza. About 3 mins later my buzzer went off to meet the host at the door of my theatre only to receive an uncooked pizza.

November 3, 2019. I came to the theater for the 5 p.m. Downtown Abbey movie. At 4:30 p.m. the move time was still active on the website, but in the theater the movie was canceled. We asked for a manager and she said it have been canceled for four days already! Their answer was that wasting time is our problem and that the theater management always recommends calling before visiting! As a result, four of my friends had to go to the AMC Summit where we had fun watching Downtown Abbey. You cannot believe what they advertise at LUX! We never will be back to the ‘new’ Lakeshore LUX Theater.

Such a great place to go. Little pricey but it is definitely worth it.

I had a great time and as a big guy I was very comfortable in the seats they had as well. Especially the seats that say Giant on them. And the pizza wasnt bad either.

The Lux was nice. I really enjoyed the reclining chairs and menu selection.

Nice theater but the slowest staff I’ve seen. Stood in line with 6 other people for 10 mins to buy food. Just before the person in front of me got to the cash, the cashier decided to go on break. Only one other working cash with 8 people in line. Ridiculous.

Its very plush and I would recommend this theater to anyone looking to have a great time.

My experience was not a good one at all. I received bad customer service and the food was plain and nasty.. There was only one manager willing to work with us. Plus the workers were not prepared to open seeing that they did not have adequate information to tell the customers....

I saw a movie at this theater 15 yrs ago. They did a phenomenal job remodeling and bringing it back to life. Didnt eat this time, but Ill be back for more.

I will be going back! AMC on Patton Creek just got knocked off as our top theater. Its a little bit more expensive but, its worth it for the comfortable seats, free popcorn refills and extra cheese for your nachos.

Went on a Saturday and watched 2 movies, 1 was regular matinee priced at $10 pp with the leather recliner seats and another 1 with their recliner Dbox chairs at around $16 pp which is worth it. Thd theater is very clean and staff are friendly. You get free drink and popcorn refills. This will definitely be our theater from now on!
