The facility is impressive; they have a cohesive team and each one is a subject matter expert in the area they are responsible for. The staff is gracious and really made the experience stress free and quick which is imperative with small children. The quality of the photo is immeasurable and I could not be more pleased. This session did not come without a price and on the spendy side (4 digits) but you get what you pay for and this time for this Mom, it was worth it!

We had such a great experience with Clark and his staff. Everyone was so friendly, talented and professional. Clark is an excellent photographer and we very much enjoyed every minute of our session. The nanny for the kids while viewing the photos was great too!!

We won the free family portrait session and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We have a 2 year old so pictures can be stressful, Clark and his team made the environment comfortable while trying to keep our soon occupied and laughing! I will try to be as honest about our experience in this review as possible.Where it started:We were notified that we won a free photo shoot from Clark Martin Photography after my wife had put her name in a drawing at the home show in Spring 2020.At the photo shoot:After going to the photo shoot I have been unable to shake the feeling that the free photo shoot was little more than a ploy to get customers in the door. Our shoot overall went well; however, everything felt rushed and like we were just another customer withlittle attention to the specifics of our family.The sale:After the photo shoot we were ushered directly to looking at the pictures from the photo shoot and strongly pressured into making purchasing decisions on the spot without being given time to review the pictures in our own freedom. Also at this time the Clark Martin staff separated our son from us to push the sale. As we were being sold to I watched another family come into the studio giving me the impression that this studio books clients to push as many people through their process as quickly as possible and have ironed out their process to be about nothing more than increasing their sales/profit as much as possible. While being sold to the owner told us that their mission is to provide a family photo for all families to give children a since of belonging and pride. While I think this is a good mission, the prices that they sell their product for is not friendly to family budgets and in my opinion defeats the purpose of their mission. While reviewing the pictures my wife asked about doing any kind of photoshop for cleaning up details and we were told that it is an additional $75 per picture to have any photoshop work completed.Final product:The final product we received is very high quality; however, I have a hard time justifying the cost especially as a young family on a budget.Verdict:While the final product is very nice, there were to many things that made it hard to shake the feeling that we were sold to and and the free photo shoot was nothing more than a marketing ploy. Also, we have worked with other professional photographers in the Billings area that had a lot more interest in our family and made it feel like a special time. This photo shoot felt to me like we were being taken advantage of and the photo shoot was to the advantage of this company rather than trying to make this a special occasion for us. With the number of other professional photographers in the Billings market we will pursue other photographers in the future that we are comfortable with and won’t be a returning customer to Clark Martin Photography.TLDR: Very expensive, good quality product, not client focused.

Won a package apparently valued at over $1500. The session itself was good and the photos were lovely, but in the end it was obvious that the amazing package we won was no more than a ploy to get us in the door and spend money. We were told we would at least end up with one framed photo, then they ended up redacting their promise for a frame so we ended up with one unframed photo, better than nothing I guess. The top package (which only gave you a handful of photos, one in a frame) costed more than we paid for two amazing photographers to spend a whole weekend at our wedding and give us access to hundreds of photos. Again, the session itself and the photos were great, but we just couldnt justify how little you get for the price.

Very professional and upscale studio, would highly recommend. They treated us very well and their work is amazing! Kylie was so amazing with my two boys, very patient.

The session was good and the customer service was good but I was VERY disappointed with the air brushing on the final product. I look bizarre and was in tears after spending so much money on it. I’ve had other professional photo sessions and the photoshop was done MUCH better.

Clark, Rachel and the staff are always a pleasure to be around. They do an amazing job with their clients and the products are something to be proud of.
