We are driving cross country and needed a break. We pulled off and this was the only open ‘attraction’. We were greeted by Cheryl, the nicest and sweetest lady we’ve met so far. She was knowledgeable and fun to talk to, also humorous and kind. The museum is small, but pretty cool. We were grateful for the break and the peek into this part of the world, as well as the hospitality of Cheryl.
They have been making updates and I have to say as much as I liked it before I Love it now! It is filled with truck history and had unique and beautiful gifts to buy They feature artists, local events, community events and they have a hands on display in the oil display. More things they I can remember Sheryl if one of the sweetest, friendliest person you could meet. The Museum is so open and generous to the community. For several years they have allowed my Quilting Guild to display Quilts we have sold tickets to raffle for various fund raisers. They have the tree lights each year kid friendly events and so much more. Check them out they are amazing!
Was kinda small but for what it was they have really awesome stuff to look at
Very nice museum. Small, but full of history. Admission cost is affordable too.
GREAT PLACE TO LEARN ABOUT OUR TOWN!
Nice museum with nice staff.
Very interesting and well designed museum. Friendly staff willing to answer any questions you may have. Go visit it is worth the trip.
Great background on the city and local area. Artist display was true Texas and tastefully done. Lots of neat gramophones on display as well.
Very friendly and helpful curator let us in for free when we arrived 45 minutes before closing. We were impressed enough by the exhibits that we paid when we left. Surprisingly good fine art collection, plus the expected history.
Hours r during the week..I would call ahead for schedule if u visit during the weekend
