Love the trail leading into town. Its along the river and very scenic and see deers throughout the walk as well. Perfect to ride your bike, walk your dogs, or just simply taking a stroll. Its parallel to the White Pine trail so makes a good loop.

If you are looking for a huge excellent course to play disc golf, youve found it!If you want an amazing place to bike or longboard, youve found it!Absolutely beautiful surroundings, located away from the city.It also has a perfect tubers launch for floating down the river.Tee pads for disc golf are nice and the course has many challanging holes. There are Porta-Johns, barbeques, hand pump water, and a medium size parking lot. You will find this parking lot nearly full many summer days. Home to Ferris State Students.

They are working in another course here. I had a really hard time navigating this place when I first played. There needs to be an updated map. I also am not sure the intended way to play the old course now. All the navigation issues aside, I really like this course a lot. The community park seems awesome too.

Nice park but no real bathrooms... Would have gave 5 stars if there were real bathrooms with flushable toilets especially since you have to pay so much to reserve a pavilion! Port-a-pottys were nasty and out of toilet paper and who wants to see other peoples business in the toilet?? Nasty!! And dont forget the fact that you cant wash your hands after using the bathroom!!

Great park for everything from family reunions to just walking your dog or cross country skiing. Free WiFi, thanks BR! River access for kayaking, tubing, etc. Great, maintained, free disc golf courses that i take advantage of every time i can! Lots of paved & natural trails that are well maintained. Paved trails connect North End with Hemlock Park & downtown Big Rapids. The White Pine trail extends for MILES north & south of Big Rapids. This park is one of Big Rapids best ideas, with lots of room to expand in future years

36 Holes - (2) distinct 18 hole courses and with optional duel 9, 12, and 24 hole layouts. Rolling hills, serene woods, and grassy fields offer a diverse range of challenges. Chainstar and DISCatcher baskets. Concrete tees. Excellent tee signs and directional maps. There is very little thorny vegetation, no poison ivy, and no ticks. Conversely, wild strawberries, raspberries, huckleberries, and wintergreen provide a light snack in season. Deer, birds, snakes, and toads are common sights. Locals put in upgrades every year. There are no water holes and trashcans arent on every hole.
