The best theater in town. If you want a decent cinema the only other options are to drive an hour or more out of town. Really good prices, nice seating, small but hopefully theyll up grade at some point. Just wish they could offer more movies. Really wanted to see Little Women but oh well.

Best movie theatre EVER! They put a whole lot of comforting thought into this place! Prices were more than adequate! Owners were more than accommodating to my needs! Loved the cushiony rocking (if you wanted to) chair seats! Next time; I am going to try the lazy boy type chairs in front! Thanks Bulldog! Cannot wait to go back!

I love this place! Great place to watch your favorite movies. They have amazing popcorn and drinks and other snacks. A very cozy homemade feel too, I love that kind of stuff. Way cheaper than AMC. I definitely recommend going to bulldog cinema!

Very friendly! I went there back in October of 2018 to watch the new Halloween movie. The lady working had to make fresh popcorn and she brought our popcorn to us so we wouldnt miss the commercials or movie. Very comfortable seats compared to a lot of movie theaters.

Today was our first time going to the bulldog Cinema. It is a very charming little Cinema. Shows to new movies. My son is seven and a little on the short side. He wasnt able to see over the seats so we had to sit on the end in the back. But other than that inconvenience it wasnt a bad experience. The staff was super nice.

Went for the first time today! We will definitely be back! Seats are roomy and super comfy, there are 2 screens that are big and the sound is great!

5 Stars for the area! Comparable to the big city cinemas even! Watched Dumbo with my daughter and it didnt break the bank! I usually will drive an hour or so to watch something in the theater because the only choice wasnt a choice! So thankful to have a nice, clean, affordable local movie theater!!!!

Ticket woman was very polite, but the lights were messed up. Got there before the show started and couldn’t see to find seats. We asked an usher for help, and he was extremely rude. My favorite quote was “can you pick a freakin seat? I can’t hold this light forever.” (Has been a solid 10 seconds). Seats were more comfortable than AMC, though.

The seats are the best in our little Hamlet of a town. Comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced, we definitely needed this theater in Big Rapids

This is a cute little local theater with great seating and reasonable prices. They only show one movie at a time (as far as I could tell). I would come to this theater over the old AMC theater any day of the week.

I went and saw the remake of the lion king today at Bulldog Cinema. First time there. All honesty, it was very hospitable. The seats are WAY more comfy than AMC, and they have CUP HOLDERS. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1. Because there isnt too much of a selection, and 2. Because its not...as sound proof as AMC. At the time of this review, it was a very rainy day today. It poured rain...and we could hear it, and it distracted me a little from the movie. I could also hear the A.C. working, so there was another distraction. However, its a new theatre, they are still adding additions to it, Im sure when the time comes, theyll add modifications. Sound wise, not the best, but as far as picture and comfort, dont waste your money at AMC.

Locally owned theater that has great prices and a friendly staff.

The seating is the best in town. They have cupholders, plenty of foot room, and the seats recline back a bit. Plus, the seats have actual cushions and arent stained. The theaters are always clean.There are plenty of concession options as well besides just popcorn and pop such as: pizza, mozzarella sticks, cheesecake, slushies. I believe they also have walking tacos.For being an independently run theater, the prices are amazing. Theyre still way lower than the other theater in town (AMC) and the service and experience is so much better.I have absolutely no complaints about this theater. You can tell the owners have poured their hearts into it and want nothing but the best for their customers/guests. Theyre always smiling and friendly.This is a great addition to the community!

Okay, when they opened the prices were good, but that is over. Twice when I have been there, there have been problems and I never got to see the movie I went for, because instead of showing for a week, it only showed for 2 days, the first and the last.Yes, theatres are insane charging $21 for popcorn and drink, and Bulldog was/is better here, but still $13 for popcorn and drink with a charge for refills is insane. NOW they close for Easter/Passover week, then call a Grand Re-opening with too many upgrades to list!!!??? Seriously, what a joke! Listing upgrades is your greatest marketing tool!! So, I cant help but believe there are NO upgrades. What isnt a joke is the $4 increase in admission. Have you also gone up on food prices?Here is the deal owners, if you want to grow a good, sustainable and loyal following, you give better service at lower prices. You are wishy washy, often seem too stressed, which is not a friendly thing, and you are up and down on your services. You change what you offer and take away the best things altogether. Your emotions, which you have no problem sharing with the public, are all over the chart.I absolutely love coming to your theatre over the other option in town, but you need to be more professional and less wishy washy. Are we coming into your living room at home, or are we coming to a business where serving the customer consistently and well is priority?? Get over yourselves. So you built the place out with your own hands, GREAT! Stop feeling sorry for yourselves. You chose to do it here and you will never make a million a year. If you want to make $100,000 get some professionalism and serve things the customer wants, be there for refills, and stop upping your prices. You do not have the services for that. If one of you needs to go get another job until this place is ship-shape, do it! Dont give up! This community is with you and wants to love you! Dont waste that! More people will rave about you to their friends when you become professional and iron out the wrinkles.You have one movie right now, ONE! A short person cannot sit in any row other the bottom front, or the 2 upper in the second showing room. Your food offering is very limited. Often you are not manning the concessions, etc... Maybe the issues I have experienced every time I come are too many to list... at least I have listed some. I wonder what amazing long list of upgrades I will find when I come back. If I find none, I probably wont be back. Lies chase me away every time. Leave your tears at home, its SHOWTIME!!

I really was debating writing a review, because I want the whole theatre to myself! Love their seats, prices are reasonable, even a reward card had been established. This theatre should be big rapids #1. I only wish they didnt show a movie for no more than a week, Id be there all the time then;)

Small but nice just 2 rooms but dont mind it not many people come and I like it that way, the seats way better than the cinema in town and they have cup holders dont have to hold our drinks entire time or place them on the floor hoping not to knock em over
